That’s crazy that this popped up on my list. This reminds me of the quote going around on tik tok. That you were put in their path to show them what unconditional love is and they were put in your path to teach you what self love is.
Narcissists certainly do exist, but I believe you absolutely seek/allow things you think you deserve. The universe teaches us through the experiences that give us a new perspective that ultimately changes our reality! I’ve dealt with narcissists and toxic people who were just unhealed. Both taught me to trust my intuition and how to spot them from a mile away so I have higher quality friendships as well as business relationships. I am grateful for the lessons in any form they come in because it creates a better future I never knew was possible! I’m certainly not going to call my exes to thank them personally, but ho’oponopono works just fine lol thank you so much for this one! You’re brilliant! ❤
Ouch, this one hit me in the bullseye! I would always date people who would be romantic and spoil their previous partners (and tell me about it!), but be withholding and breadcrumb me. Like, not plan anything for my birthday, for example - real basic shit! It was so humiliating and hurtful, but ultimately it made me get very eagle eyed to that behavior early on. I was also a classic over-functioner, so I learned to be better at receiving and relaxing.
Life lesson for sure. It was after escaping a four year relationship with a narcissist that I finally began giving myself love and acceptance. That was my lesson. And now at age 58 I’m in my first truly healthy and fulfilling relationship. I’d love to know where that was in my chart!
I believe everything in life is a lesson whether it's a karmic lesson or just any lesson. You can learn from everyone a narcissist, empath, or anything in between.
Definitely changed me. In hindsight, I was a billboard for the quickest route to easy money. I was confused the entire time about why he was treating me badly. When he opened a separate account for our military pay deposit, I still didn’t know what was going on. It wasn’t until the therapy from a narcissism psychologist that it sunk in. I don’t think it’s karma. I think it’s jealousy. It’s displaced hatred.

I had no clue I married my karmic love lesson 20 years ago today 2/14 until I hit my 2nd north node return back in 2017/2018, then my marriage fell apart. When i get that feeling with someone thats usually when its going to be a karmic lesson with that person. The relationship feels super charged/intense/heavy in some way. I used to think that its because you have chemistry with someone that creates that spark…but nah ive met people i didnt feel that feeling with at the start who i ended up having really good chemistry with after knowing them a bit longer. I went through horrible abuse. I dont think it had to happen for me to learn a lesson but I do think all that happened pushes me to become more of who I really am. ❤
Great topic! Honestly my love life changed when I stopped and asked how I’m contributing to my own misery, like what in me thought that was acceptable treatment. When I stopped focusing on the other party and how I can show up better myself, I understood my lessons. I also have Capricorn in my 7th house soooo lol. We can give too much power to the other person when it was never about the other person it was about ourself and our own lessons

I was wondering why it can't be both. . . As a lesson is self love, boundaries etc , d universe might actually send me towards a karmic lesson who was also a low level narcissist. I can see this person healing themselves now aftr their life spiralled , 5 yrs later. I have already moved on, but I am happy for them. They still struggle with their narcissistic tendencies. But this person was d one who triggered me enough to walk away from them, n eventually it made me walk away from my toxic fam n relatives. They were d trigger for me to start self love n boundary setting. So I think a narcissistic can be a karmic lesson too.

Yes there are Narcs but most of the time you chose them sweet words and broken promises shouldn’t be motivated a person to give their all and be left with nothing they’re WORDS what can the person do for you ?

I don’t agree with this. I think it’s victim blamey for people in abusive situations. Judge-Judy is one thing for entertainment, its hammed up for U.S telly like Springer was etc, but there are real life awful situations that people are living who don’t deserve the abuse to “teach them a lesson” this rhetoric has very real and serious consequences.
Of course, there are always valid situations of actual abuse to victims and we are never discounting that experience! This topic is more so to get the brain moving and to offer a birds eye view perspective of the experiences we go through in life! I think the universe is a master at making a lot of things true at once. I believe that there are victims of abuse, and the ones that did it, serve as a teacher to ultimately help the victim, grow, change, and evolve for the better! 🫶🏽✨

Imagine reading this as someone who has been a victim of child abuse or modern slavery, or someone in an abusive home environment. No victim of abuse is thinking “I’m really glad I went through this destructive, abusive situation. It has really helped me to evolve and grow.” It sounds like you’re praising abusers as teachers of important lessons. I’m really disappointed that you’re publishing this on a public platform.

I find that a lot of people who have 1st house placements are narcissists. That’s just my experience
I was wondering why it can't be both. . . As a lesson is self love, boundaries etc , d universe might actually send me towards a karmic lesson who was also a low level narcissist. I can see this person healing themselves now aftr their life spiralled , 5 yrs later. I have already moved on, but I am happy for them. They still struggle with their narcissistic tendencies. But this person was d one who triggered me enough to walk away from them, n eventually it made me walk away from my toxic fam n relatives. They were d trigger for me to start self love n boundary setting. So I think a narcissistic can be a karmic lesson too.

I hate when people throw the word Narcissist around because people allowed a toxic person to sweep them off their feet. Yes there are Narcs but most of the time you chose them sweet words and broken promises shouldn’t be motivated a person to give their all and be left with nothing they’re WORDS what can the person do for you ?

I don’t agree with this. I think it’s victim blamey for people in abusive situations.
Judge-Judy is one thing for entertainment, its hammed up for U.S telly like Springer was etc, but there are real life awful situations that people are living who don’t deserve the abuse to “teach them a lesson” this rhetoric has very real and serious consequences.
Of course, there are always valid situations of actual abuse to victims and we are never discounting that experience!
This topic is more so to get the brain moving and to offer a birds eye view perspective of the experiences we go through in life! I think the universe is a master at making a lot of things true at once. I believe that there are victims of abuse, and the ones that did it, serve as a teacher to ultimately help the victim, grow, change, and evolve for the better! 🫶🏽✨
@@jupiterjames_ Your statement makes it sound as though abusers are teachers and the survivors needed to be abused to be taught a lesson. Imagine reading this as someone who has been a victim of child abuse or modern slavery, or someone in an abusive home environment.
By this mentality, enslaved people also needed to learn lessons, or people who have been s*xually assaulted.
I’m honestly horrified at the insensitivity of this thought process. No victim of abuse is thinking “I’m really glad I went through this destructive, abusive situation. It has really helped me to evolve and grow.”
