I am also struggling with non-linearity problems. Thanks to this channel , I am at least able to increase my knowledge base on that topic . Thanks😍

Glad for that. I am recommending Lukasz's Channel to you for non linear problems - he is a real expert in this field. Find him here: ruclips.net/user/Enterfea

Hi, I have the curve strain-stress, but the strain is the percent one, not the absolut value. How can I say this information to the software? If I say nothing the 100%, it takes as 100 mm of strain

strain is a dimensionless number and to be put in exactly like you said (in percent). So 0.01 strain would mean 1% elongation difference to whatever reference measure you want. Strain is defined as elongation / initial_length and therefore mm/ mm and therefore dimensionless. Hope this helps. Maybe checkout this video: ruclips.net/video/AHurbIrIzMU/видео.html

Of course, thank you. I made a very dumb question @@ManuelRamsaier

Thanks for your useful videos. I have a similar problem with left side fixed and right side with imposed translation on nodes. After defined the two load collectors and run successfully a first analysis, i want to change the value of the imposed translation but at this point i'm not able to recover the constraint to modify . I go through "Analysis- constraints" but when window opens i don't see any way to specify which constraint i want to choose. Could you please explain the correct steps to accomplish the task ? Thanks

Sure, in analysis - constraints: there is a radio button on the left saying "update" - click that and you can select the constraint you want to update - change the values and click on update. All the best :)

Thank you for your quick reply. Unfortunately i open the constraint section with update button already checked , but as I select a constraint on the tree nothing happens, in the sense that the constraint i select in the tree is not highlighted, so i don't know if i'm updating the correct one or not. Am i missing something ?

@@CP-zi3eg Sure. No you cannot (at least to my knowledge select the constraints in the tree with this menu but in the graphical user interface). . If you select it in the GUI, the constraint will get highlighted. There is also a review button which lets you examine the values of a constraint, when selected. This way you can check if the values were updated. In the newest version of Hyperworks the constraints are listed individually in the tree - there you could change the values directly in the property editor on the bottom left. Also, when updating in the constraints menu, be sure to check the message on the bottom left as you will see there if the constraint has been updated (and therfore properly selected) or not. Best of luck.
