- Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are insanely fun! I have been having an absolute blast shiny hunting for some of my favorite pokemon in this generation. From Quaxly, to Tinkatuff, to Greavard, these hunts have been wild! I even got an insane back to back shiny encounter!!! Hope you enjoy and are stoked for more videos on the horizon!

i found a shiny on my first day of playing- a sweet little scatterbug that i named glitterbug, it didn’t contribute much to the team because even vivillon is fairly weak, but finding a full-odds shiny on the first day? absolutely magical, and definitely an experience worth treasuring.

my first shiny (that i didnt kill)was orthworm
my first of this game was a froslass on release day while grinding my team and my only fail of this game is a chansey in area zero

Luxury balls look so much better in this game (than any past game... just that gold material on the ball really captures the Luxury feeling)

My first shiny was a Ghastly. Almost missed it cuz it was night and looks nearly identical to the other Ghastly next to it. If that other Ghastly wasn't there, i would have just passed it lol.

I've gotten three shinies so far! I got a Cufant randomly, as well as Dondozo, which is SUCH A COOL SHINY, and then I got shiny Espeon while hunting for Roaring Moon! Excited to see what you do with these games!

The dex entries for Toedscool/Toedscruel are weird because they are based off of an edible mushroom called Wood Ear, which in Japan is also known as the tree jellyfish mushroom

My only shiny Pokémon in this game so far has been shiny Deerling that I evolved into Sawbuck. I love her so much. I named her Sparkles.
I love the shiny Nacli line because the orange color does make sense for Himalayan salt rocks

My first day of Violet was eventful to say the least. I found a random Swablu before my first gym then a random Dratini and a random Hoppip even later on. I was panicking with Dratini as its level was 49 while my team was level 20. And I almost missed that Hoppip but my sister screamed atop of her lungs as she spotted it with her eagle eyes.
Literally watching this video during my own shiny hunt, and just as your nacli popped up I had one appear as well!!!
Shinies can be really crazy sometimes, I had hunted Forretress 2 times and failed both times.
On my third time hunting it I finally found it after about 2 hours, and I snap my pictures of it (that's what I do)
and I remember just looking over and seeing ANOTHER shiny Forretress! So I got a picture of two uncaught shiny Forretress on screen at the same time!

I only have 7 shinies, but here’s a story. When I was hunting for shiny roaring moon full odds, I decided to hunt in the caves for the last 10 minutes. I found a shiny zweilous last minute. Then 5 minutes after that I was running around the ocean and found a shiny wattrel.

I always try to guess what kind of ball you'll catch the shiny in right before you catch it, haha. Those two shiny naclis were quite funny too!

I have about 40 hours in the game and I haven't experienced any real bugs. The only two I can remember was a basculin swimming on land and a magneton sprite bugged off the mini map onto the middle of my screen. Besides those some lag, I've had a pretty smooth experience compared to other players. The same thing happened to me with cyberpunk, I really didn't get most of the bugs people were talking about. Obviously, both Pokemon and cyberpunk had and still have some issues to iron out but overall, if there's enough passion behind a project, it should be given a second chance when the devs say it's truly ready

My shiny first 15 shinies include 2 bronzong, 2 sneazel and 2 golduck, none of which I hunted for.
I got the bronzong while hunting for magneton (which I never got even after hours of hunting so far), the sneazel by accident and I got a shiny psyduck literally 20 minutes into playing as soon as I left the lighthouse and walked down to the ponds with the flamigo and Wooper. For some reason getting the shinies I want is hella painful but getting random shinies just happens naturally :D

My first one was the most common one,in legends arceus,bdsp,and S&V,Shinx
I got two shiny Larvesta, back to back in less than two minutes at the very start of a mass outbreak without a shiny power just like how you got the two Nacli xD

I just hunted Tinkaton today because it's my favorite pokemon from this gen and all gens now, the shiny is just so cool and clever (that's corviknight shiny, tinkaton took shiny hunting in a very litteral way), I got it at the last minute of my first sandwich (since I've started the game), happy to see another enjoyer of her.
I'll do everything to make her the more special possible, that's why she's in a master ball, max EV, IV (thanks to the golden object and not the silver one) etc.
She will be treat as a queen in my team. Her name, ShinyMask3De, why mask 3De? Because I really like Dedede and his masked form.
I realize I spoke a lot of time but I just can't resist, I love this pokemon so much!

My first shiny in this game was a zorua that was disguised as a sudowoodo and that was my first zorua in the game too! Also still my only shiny so far in this game as well.

I love this vid. The excitement and acceptance of all pokemon no matter who they are. But with the deerling.. there is a pokeball symbol which means you actually did catch it, guess you forgot. lol

I caught a shiny clawf when my pokemons were level 28 but i wanst shiny hunting
My first shiny was a marill minding it's own business, and my oast shiny before completing the dex was was a mudbray who jumped on a cliff, but none of those were as cool as the double shiny nacli, that's just luck on a whole new level
I get super stressed when a shiny is spotted. The fact you celebrate rather than just catch it makes me wonder if it will despawn.
Anyways, my first shiny was Orthworm and have caught several more since, some of which have marks.

my first shiny in this game was orthworm! i was catching one for the dex when, in the background of the battle, i see a blue one stick its head up from the ground! i was so shocked! i have 5 shiny pokemon so far! i got them all while casually playing, and i plan on doing my first ever proper shiny hunt on Klawf sometime soon. Dondozo was the funniest shiny i found i think. it startled me tbh. i was just turning the camera around and it was quickly rising up behind me 0_0
