Another great video….two questions Did you use a stabilizer when you were embroidering the wing and star design ? If yes which one Do you plan on making videos on digitizing using Chroma from start to end ?
Thank you Queen. Embroidering the test was two pieces of cut away stabilizer. On the backpack no stabilizer was used because the material has no give. Stabilizer is used to stabilize stretchy or thin material. The combination of mighty hoop and material does not call for the use of stabilizer. I tried to experiment with digitizing video but the truth is they are just a super small niche and don’t get views that would be worth posting them on a consistent bases. I am however going to start posting digitizing videos when I turn on my members feature on the channel. I will make an announcement when I start that for everyone that is interested.
Just a quick question did you learn digitizing your self or did you take a course? I can do flats but have trouble with hats I use chroma luxe as well, thank you for your wonderful videos , I have followed you ever since I first found you on RUclips
I learned it myself when I started with brother pe design. Then getting chroma and other programs when you buy them they have tutorials online for anything you are unsure of. But for the most part the tools act the same. chroma to me was the easiest to learn because it looks and has similar tools to photoshop and illustrator. When digitizing for hats you have to be conscious of the maximum area you can embroider on successfully on a hat and digitize within those perimeters. Also remember in chroma that you have to digitize each element at the size you want it to embroider. Dragging a design to make it bigger or smaller does not reduce or increase stitches.

I’ve never used brother thread and don’t plan on trying any unless they send me some. I’m sticking to what works for me.
