    Like every Toycat stream, I got some great inspiration for Minecraft activities, replaced almost immediately with thoughts of determinism, my relationship history, life expectancy, and Toycat’s career.

      So many derailed trains of thoughts in his live streams XD its hilarious and wondrous and infuriating all at once lol. Like I love his unfiltered stream of thought but I also really want him to finish his thoughts on each subject XD

    Determinism? Ok... I just like your rants. Rant away. That is such a cool world.
    ToyCat has all the good stuff. Even the fans and mods.
    Yes. 💕💯

    My stance is pretty much "I don't think _truly_ free will exists, but I also don't think it matters". Choice is inherently part of how we experience life and there's no way to change that-even speaking of "changing that" is _itself_ a choice-centric framing. And if it doesn't take away the experience of choice then it doesn't take away the experience of responsibility. At most it just says we should be more sympathetic and work to tackle root causes that drive people to behave certain ways rather than only the symptoms, but that's a _good_ thing.

    This is the first long video I've watched in my new home. I've been homeless for 8 months and I'm glad to finally have a home again to watch toycat videos while I wind down for bed.

      I'm anxious about the future an I'm only 15. Was being homeless as bad as people always make it seem? How did you get by?

    • @alexismcneill6296
      @alexismcneill6296 2 месяца назад

      @@geetoasty I'm not a standard case. I'm crippled and ill and had very few resources to access to help me. I also had next to no help from friends because I basically don't have any.
      There's different levels of being homeless though. There's sleeping on your friends couch which is a pain but the easiest. Then there's living in your car which I've also done before. It's tough but doable cause you'd still have protection from the elements and more than a backpack of stuff. Then the hardest is being fully on the streets. It's extremely difficult to do it for long. You don't know where your next meal will come from. You have no shelter from the winter cold, summer heat, thunderstorms, etc. You have only what you can carry when it comes to tools, clothes, and food. You have to constantly be on guard from other homeless people that may be wanting to steal your only belongings, take over the place you sleep, are just hostile in general due to drugs or alcohol or mental conditions, etc. You also have to be on guard for police because it's basically not legal to sleep anywhere ever and a good cop may simply say move on but a bad one could assault and arrest you or worse depending on how bad they are. It's also incredibly difficult to escape homelessness once you're there. It's extremely hard to even get or keep a job when you have no address or shower to stay clean or anything and no way to wash your uniform. Nobody wants a sweaty, smelly, homeless person working for them. And then there's homeless programs but without a child most either don't have the capacity to help and will end up not doing anything or shipping you off to another town that's got just as few available resources. If you do get into a program that can help you, it could take as long as a year. It took them 8 months to finally house my mom and I (and remember I'm highly disabled and came close to death on multiple occasions because of it) and one guy we spoke to had already been in their program for over a year with nothing to show for it. Then when you start losing your phone service and anything else you have to pay for because you can't make a steady income, that makes it even harder to get a job then it was before or to stay in contact with the homeless programs or anything else you need making things take even longer and risking having to start over. In some places there are shelters but many are full and many are also full of violent mentally ill people or druggies like in my area the dangerous drug many use is meth and that makes people particularly dangerous for a few reasons.
      In summary. Don't be homeless. Do anything you can to avoid it if you get close, seek out charities that help with rent, rework your finances, shut down any unnecessary billed services like internet and streaming sites, eat cheap food like ramen, whatever it takes to avoid being homeless. If it becomes unavoidable and you do end up losing your home, just hope you have a friend who is able to let you stay there temporarily while you get things fixed.

      @@geetoasty but try not to be too anxious, as long as you can make trustworthy friends to be roommates with and keep a steady income and don't over spend you should be okay. Homelessness usually results from a major life change like death of someone close getting in the way of you paying your bills, becoming disabled (which take advantage of any company healthcare, I got sick and lost my job for the seizures before I got a neurologist and ended up without healthcare and treatment for 7 years leading to it destroying my nervous system. If I had gone to the doctor instead of thinking the first one was a fluke I may have had a chance at getting what I needed before it was too late. Go to a doctor regularly and mention even the smallest oddities just in case there's a bigger problem.) , or other unforseen life events; OR it happens because a person is extremely irresponsible with their money usually due to addiction or otherwise not focusing on keeping a proper income. So take care of your health and don't get addicted to drugs and alcohol (or other common addictions like shopping for stuff you don't need or fast food, the money lost piles up fast) and you should be OK unless something unpreventable happens. But if you end up getting messed up by something purely out of your control and you aren't disabled you will likely have more people willing to help you long enough to get your income fixed and get a new place or room.
      Anyways don't be anxious, but do stay on top of things in your life to make sure anything preventable doesn't happen and you should be fine 4 times out of 5. And keep your support network strong in case something does happen so you have someone to help you survive when you need it most.

    It took me 28 years to find Jesus and I will try with every fibre of my being to plant the right seeds in my children so they don’t have to feel that emptiness and go through what I did before finding that peace.
    The God who created everything truly loves you Toycat.
    Forget what you learned in Church as a child if it made you feel as though you were in the wrong place. Church shouldn’t feel like that.
    Try reading the four gospels in the Bible and (dare I say it) ask for guidance as you read.
    We will be praying for you!
