And he only became a people eater, because he was born different and mistreated throughout his life. He earned my respect. Fernard is like one of those tragic characters you see from other media, who were a nuisance at first, but have development, like Adventure Time's Simon Petrikov, and Fiddleford Mcgucket from Gravity Falls.
I always wondered where he came from. Now, I know, a lot of us wanted to see new SCP's being portrayed, but keep in mind these channels are only trying to be more creative where others have already explained the SCP's. He works hard to give us new videos with fresh ideas that portray the SCP Foundation in interesting ways. The least we could do is be supportive and understanding of all his hard work.
I agree but new entries would be nice though but I still like this type of content.I would love to see more GoIs,SCPs,and Tales Explained and animated with his style.
I agree to a point. Yes to worldbuilding, but there is a vast, vast world to touch on, and it feels like there is some spurts of favoritism that ends up feeling like beating a dead horse. Maybe I'm just not looking at the bigger picture, but I can only speak for myself. That said, fleshing out someone who's not part of the Big 4 is a refresher for sure
But the thing is they put out videos almost every single day. It’s not an either/or thing. It would be a quite simple matter to have a backstory one day, a “what if” the next, and a new one of the thousands of SCPs untouched on in another. I do enjoy most of their videos, it would just be nice to see them push it outside of the current bubble. Some of the more niche videos they’ve done are the ones that really stuck with me, like Hunter’s top notch acting in “The Bodies In The Water” or “The Things Left Unsaid”.
Yet another reason I think I’m drawn to the foundation/ SCP lore is that instead of being cruel the instead choose to be cold and even warm at times. With all the SCP foundations power they could abuse anomalous or instead try to terminate anomalous (with the exception of 682) like groups of interest. Ferdinand does have a sad story of just how cruel humans can be but at least the foundation will contain him in a safe (well obviously not safe but for him it is safer then the streets) environment and he gets fed on a regular basis. Like I said 082’s story is s sad reminder that sometimes humans are the real monsters.

While as a young boy, he was forced in a circus made to fear the wicked top hat man, the men/women. Of course, before that, people just treated him wrong because of his appearance.Until one day, his chance of change came his payback to all that misery,and that remains well burned in his mind. If things were different in his past a better relationship with man Imo I believe Fernard would resist eating humans, and if he didn't like them he would handle it in a different way rather than eating them.

Fernand seems like kind, funny, and charismatic man, even though he's 7 feet tall and is cannibalistic, I'd be more than happy to hang out with him and chat with him and sing together too, so overall, I consider Fernand a friend
What if the foundation used other SCP,s to turn SCP 682 into stone or other material (I don’t know any SCP,s that can do this but I bet there is one) because SCP 682 can adapt to its surroundings not a statue in the shape of 682

Hell the sheer stories and tales for 682 is kinda sad.. the original artical has plenty of flaws misspellings and errors as well.
He is also durable enough to tank bullets. No human, gigantism or not, can do that. Also, he can eat a ridiculous amount of people, more than his body could even fathomably fit.
I love Fernand as he has always been an entertaining anomaly to learn about but this story made me realise that he is actually not very different to humans in that he needs food and water so now I don't see why he is an anomaly because he does not defy reasoning and can be compared to real life people that have reached his Hight (I googled his Hight and it Said he was 7 foot ten inches tall) so he could have had a similar medical condition to other people at his Hight and with him eating humans most likely out of desperation I can understand his weight (also googled this one and it said he was 700 pounds) as I can imagine humans have quite a lot of nutrients in them and with his size his metabolize would be very high so he would have to eat a lot which is how he got his mass. his mass would allow him to be much stronger than an average person to the point it was considered anomolous by the scp foundation but he seems to have a relatively normal anatomy when he needs food and sleep to survive and I know he is mortal by the fact he can get scared which is a survival instinct and survival instincts would not be needed if you were immortal.
