Thank you for sharing how you are using this journal. Have enjoyed watching your videos for a long time now and appreciate how much you share about supplies, and process.
Thanks so much, Michelle!
That is a very fun way to work in a Journal! Love the Tabs!
Thanks Sherrie. I love tabs too!
Thank you for showing a few more peeks in your journal. I have struggled a bit switching gears on some of the different types of pages in this on, so I appreciate seeing what you are learning along the way.
It is a challenging journal! Thanks for commenting! I'm sure to be coming and going with it this year.
Your DW journal looks so pretty! I love your unplanned art sessions. I place all of my finished journals in a used book bin at a local grocery store. What keeps me holding on to this particular book is the way its strings poke out from the bottom and top. Your pages don"t look as crinkled as mine. I do like how gesso seeps through and changes texture of a page. Lately I am back to a good old fashioned moleskine. Today DW is coming off the shelf, thanks to your inspiration. Keep sharing free as a bird !!! You are a true gem.
Thanks so much Stacy. I just found this comment - sorry it is late. Big Hug to you. I hope you are seeing spring
So beautiful Thanks for sharing
Thanks!
Oh, Diana! 1. I love your line work! 2. I haven’t yet started in my Dina Wakely journal, but you’ve inspired me to at least slap some color on a few pages today!! ❤️
Oh that's so great to hear, Nanci! Thank you :)
I like this idea of an art journal as a sand box. This is so encouraging.
Thanks Glenda!
I'm glad to see you working in one of these journals and I'm curious to see what you do in it. The burlap pages threw me until I saw someone use modeling paste through a stencil on one and it's a great way to cover those pages and keep them from unraveling down to nothing if you pretty much cover most of the page, although I also like the bits and pieces of strings hanging out. I'm still amazed at your fearless way of attacking a journal. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Suzanne! I think the DW journal has a learning curve to it. But I'm finding myself liking it more and more. It will be in my regular rotation this year. I am enjoying the texture of it
Love the idea of playing in “the sandbox.” Great title for a journal. Been following you for nearly 8 yrs now, and although, I infrequently comment, I am watching.... I too love playing in both a planned and unplanned manner, the latter with frequently the most amazing outcomes. Diana, you have helped me play more spontaneously, over these years, so a big thanks to you. Have a great weekend!
Thanks so much! That's a very nice thing to say. :)
