Watching these from the year 2018 in the United States there is an awful lot that I have to infer but I will tell you after watching nearly every one of these on RUclips this one in particular made me laugh more than any of the other ones. Every one of these guys was on top of their game.

@DamienBamford if you're asking about Paul Merton - basically he has gotten more and more disengaged from the show as the years have gone on. I party think it was his hatred of Angus Deayton that kept him focused. If you want to see Paul at the glorious mercurial height of his powers, there is an Odd Man Out where they show 4 people and they all had Mary Anne in their names like John Wayne, Mayor Marian Berry of DC and George Eliot... the other time pull that today perfect innings was when Roy Hattersley didn't turn up so they got a tub of lard to stand in for him and then Ian Hislop was talking in French and German and Paul's acting of his bewilderment was sheer perfection.

I can't believe McKellen, what a nerve! Paul did ask to be in the next LoTR movies, yet MK didn't invite him to be in the Hobbit. Poor Merton must have been so disapointed

    Wonderful freestyling by Ross.
The Gandalf bobblehead resulted in a mental image of Katharine Hepburn and Jimmy Stewart bobbleheads that would perfectly simulate their later acting.
