Ike! You should combine all of your Four-Wheeler Friday episodes onto one thumb drive, and then send it to the FMCSA as critical data for analysis on how to make trucking safer in America. It is a wonder that each of us does not kill at least one moron a day. Maybe we should each get a freebie. “As a trucker, you are allowed to run over one moron a week until the roads are safer!”😂

The sad part is, all this could be any given day from one truck on one shift.
People don't get that the dashcam is at the top of the windshield angled down, not sitting in the cab looking forward. Don't cut in close up front, don't ride in our blind spots. Don't hover next to us on the freeway. Work with us, cut us a break, and help us to get your goods delivered safely so that you can live your lives with all of the food clothing electronics medical supplies industrial equipment cars automotive goods and every other thing in your lives that you need to survive.
If you got it, it came by truck.
The four wheelers will never get it through their collective heads that screwing with an eighteen wheeler is wrong on so many levels, but of course they will be right because they get a lawyer to take you to court because of their stupidity and they get to win because even the judge has never been in a eighteen wheeler so not one of them knows what it's like driving that big rig but you have to pay the consequences for their stupidity, and they will always be ungrateful bastards
What about the “Imma drive my fully loaded rig on this zig-zagging mountainous 2 lanes road with no passing zones at 20 under the limit because the freeway is 2 millionths of a mile longer and I couldn’t give a shit less if you’ve been stuck behind me for the last 8 miles”? Any thoughts on that one?
If your truck has blind spots all around it, get someone to help you with the mirrors. If you don't have a rh hood mirr, put one on and it will eliminate any place that a vehicle can hide in. There is a mirror hanging over the driver side door to see anything beside you. How do drivers change lanes, merge and back up 100's of thousands of times over decades without being in an accident? ? They use the mirrors. A smart car can not be around my truck without me being able to see it unless it is behind me. My company dashcam is up high, but my camera is in the middle and sees what I see just like the one in the first clip. That driver was sitting in the floor or just really stupid.

Even though my last OTR truck had an anteater hood, I still put a spot mirror sticking out forward from the passenger side top corner of the windshield- like a dental mirror! - so I could easily see those nimrods hiding in front of the grille.
Always wondered if trucks could do that and did. It certainly makes sense on the long nose rigs. You had the smarts to do it. 👍
Every 5 years, drivers should be required to take a mandatory DMV driver's test. If they fail, they then have to go through the driver's education program all over again including the driver's tests.
I've been saying this for years.
(Or better yet, put these "safety" features that's installed on semis onto the 4-wheelers.)

Some states the driver education program is the child parent teaching them how to drive. In my state I am teaching my son how to drive and just got done teaching a son how to drive.

@@jesserice7777 Hehe. That might end the brake checking and the tailgating. Those side warning sensors found on the fancy SUVs will have more meaning than just a warning when the vehicle slows down as they attempt to squeeze between lanes of traffic.
Here in the DC beltway area, I see most of these incidents multiple times all around me, daily.

3:12 I don't understand these situations. Yes, the black car has to yield, but the truck can easily move left and let the black car in. I was merging on the interstate just like this one time and there was a motorcycle in the right lane (to my left) that could have moved over, but he refused. He was in my blind spot and I nearly took him out. Yes, I was looking left and using my mirrors, he was moving a little faster than I was and was moving (visible) from one mirror to the next and I lost track of him, so I thought he moved over.. I ride motorcycles and I'm always happy to get away from potential accidents. He will learn one day.
Umm merging traffic is always to yield there's nothing safe about changing lanes next time you should learn how merging actually works...it's not one's job to move over for you..

And if you can't safely change lanes when there is no traffic, then you shouldn't be on the road.

The signs say keep right except to pass. I've never seen on that say move left for dumbass merging.

Car drivers on the road usually don't care if WE can see them or not! they are usually 'distracted' anyway. And it scares the daylights out of me when a tired or wheel comes off and comes right at me!

With the first one where the car cut over just inches in front of the truck, ice seen other video groups with similar dash cam vids that pointed out that the camera is usually positioned right on the windshield, and often up towards the ceiling, which means it sees more than the trucker who's eyes are roughly 4 feet further back, and 2.5 to 3 feet lower, so things the camera sees the driver can't
Yeah, no. Driver is either blind or sitting on the floor. He's far enough back to clearly see the plate of the truck if he was sitting at the appropriate height. He would've been able to see the at least the top of the car. Guys have got to stop giving truckers like this a pass and making excuses for them. Not to mention he wasn't paying attention to his right where there's an entry into the roadway from a parking lot where people ALWAYS try to slip into any hole.
The first video was an entitled trucker. Yes the car pulled in front of it but the car was very visible from the video. Even the driver was. The truck driver should see exactly what the video sees, he set it to be his eyes in case of accident doubts. That video can prove the truck driver hit the car driver on purpose.
A video game I play and like is American Truck Simulator, but for years I found the way the AI drives so frustrating and unrealistic until today with the clip at 3:00.
