I appreciate that this comic took newer Transformers to round out the cast; this marked the first time Windblade was drawn in a G1 art-style (she was introduced in the comics just a few years ago, and has become a mainstay of the animated series since then), and Airachnid had only appeared in the CG Transformers Prime cartoon (fun fact: that cartoon is in continuity with the War for Cybertron games... and the extremely aimed-at-a-preschool-audience Transformers: Rescue Bots). Also, Airachnid planning on keeping Kirk as a pet is a good continuity-wink; she had the same designs for Jack Darby in Transformers Prime.

You know, ever since they made a Ghostbusters crossover vehicle, I've been interested in seeing more crossover Transformers made, like say, the obscure Decepticon Octus from the UK Marvel Transformers comics whose alternate form is a Dalek. A Titan Class Fortress Tiberius would probably be unlikely, but it would be so very worth it.

I will defend your right to state your opinion that Star Trek TAS overall is not a very good series; what I will not accept is the fact that you didn’t acquiesce to these three things about it
    1) Filmation (the animation studio behind the series) was originally just going to cast William Shatner, DeForest Kelly, and Leonard Nimoy to play their respective characters while everyone else would be voiced on the cheap by Majel Barrett and James Doohan. However, Nimoy refused to come on board unless George Takei, Nichelle Nichols, and Walter Koenig were also hired to play their respective characters.
    2) The writing (at least on the handful of good episodes) tended to be on par with the original series, that is to say it was a slightly more serious show compared to other animated properties at the time
    3) Yesteryear is, without a doubt, the best episode the animated series has to offer

Having just read all 80+ issues, annuals & tie-ins of DC's Star Trek, Spock says "logical" fewer times in all of those put together than he does in this mini-series.

The absolute weirdest thing about this comic is the inclusion of Airachnid. She only existed in Transformers Prime, so seeing her interacting with the G1 Transformers is very bizarre.

But this same comic has Windblade soooo...

reynaldi Pangestu To be fair Windblade has quite a bit of exposure on her given her status as the primary female Autobot besides Arcee. Same can’t be said for Airachnid who, aside from IDW, didn’t have much exposure after Prime.

Is nobody else going to bring up the fact that M'Res is one of the earliest and best examples of furry fanservice to grace the world and the internet needs MUCH more fan-art of her? XD
Also it'd be really cool if the TNG crew met the Maximals and Predacons, yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees!~

Idunno... The timey-wimey mess of the Maximals and Predacons would be more fitting for Voyager, because Janeway's cursed with temporal shenanigans.
I would pay serious money to see Sisko turn his baby into a transformer and use it to punch Megatron mid-speech though!

Now I want to see how Voyager 6 lands on Cybertron and is Transformed into V'ger.
