- Things are really getting busy now. I spent the day loading trucks, accepting chemical and seed deliveries while getting the planter all set up, installing new plates and knock out wheels. Our monitors and new Ag Cameras are up and running. If the weather cooperates I anticipate we'll be in the dirt within the week.

Zach Johnson, the “Millennial Farmer” is a 5th-generation farmer who’s spent his life growing, working, and learning on his family’s farm. His wit and dry sense of humor appeal to children and adults alike. A product of the millennial generation, his appreciation of new technology blends with his old-fashioned work ethic, and he offers a unique ability to deliver his message in a way that resonates with lifelong farmers as well as those with no knowledge of agriculture.
With growing consumer awareness about where their food comes from, Zach has identified the need for an independent voice from the front lines of agriculture. Zach actively promotes agriculture by sharing his day-to-day experiences in the agriculture world while providing farmer-to-farmer education to help facilitate a collaborative conversation between farmers and the public.

@@juku619 torille!
Strix Main your lucky you have three seasons Scotland has 2 winter and Autumn have fun with that weird season called Spring
Amen!
Johannes Ylä-Outinen kävin keskiviikkona :D
Love how those girls puts a huge grin on your face :)
The lube needle is for lubing sealed bearings. It's a last ditch effort to save a bearing.
@Les Brown Yea, probably won't, but you will get some time to work with that machine and hopefuly, finish your job.
I can tinker at work but when I'm in my shop I'm puddering. 👍👍
Love the videos hope the family is well.
Dry for now. Down here in southern Wisconsin we are expecting 2 inches of snow Sunday an rain all next week. But on a good note...manure is laid down and everythings ready for when we get dry! Doing alot of tinkering myself in the ship. Love the videos man. Keep on keepin on!
I look forward to following along all season. I wish you a good luck and prosperous crops.
That random mustached guy seemed a bit grumpy today. You should take him with you for beer and steak. Might cheer him up a bit.
I never try to take him with anywhere, he just sort of follows me around
He came good at the end though ha ha ha
15:11...probably the best part of your job. Family ‘interruptions’. Have an awesome spring, Johnson Family!!!!
I love your humor! With that said, most people have no idea how many farming has changed. For larger operations...thousands, not hundreds of acres, the advent of technology has, at a mind boggling cost, taken farming almost to the level of NASA. Satellite usage on the farm is a real and necessary thing. Farming now needs experts to assist in business plans to obtain maximum yields per acre. Even irritating benefits from satellite information. I
Ju2 look at the number of data support methodologies used in your tractor. I think it is a wonderful thing. Amazing!
Best day ever. Welkers post a video and you!!
ooooooohhhhh boy. I sing that song every once in a while. now you got it stuck in my head. Foreigner is such a good group.
Thank You F.B.N. for your support
Loving the new cameras. Thanks for allowing into your everyday life. God bless
Zach you might try pulling the negative cable off the batteries and putting a test light between the battery and the cable end. If your light comes on you have a draw. You can start checking different circuits from there.
Like your videos. keep them coming
Mike
Thank you Zack, love the variety and great perspective of today sole proprietor/small Corp. ag business
I got a great use for that needle greaser you showed. Might be a little painful, but I think I can inject my insulin faster. 🤔🤔🤔
where are all my fellow non farmers but here because this channel is great and very enjoyable to watch.
Thanks to these videos I've become a virtual suburban farmer myself.
Wow! I just started watching Millennial Farmer 2 weeks ago for the 1st time & I must say- The man knows his stuff, he's very entertaining & I like watching to see what happens next, good job bro! You have a true fan right here 👍
My fix for the week. Thank god.
great video sir I so enjoy watching you around the equipment and the trucks because I was a trucker on the railway here in Ontario Canada.
I bought a jump pack from the snap on truck for a little over 300 and it's great. Works awesome
Been waiting for this for so long love your vids keep it up
I feel your pain on the song it’s been in my head for a week. And now you have started all over again. Thanks 😁
My 4 year old daughter got excited with this video. She has a cat named Luna too and she saw your German Shepard pup and said that's what her doggy looked like when he was a baby! Love the videos, keep em coming!
Million dollar operations such as yours are a ton of work...God Bless!!
@MN Millennial Farmer. That little one that "Gives you the willies" is for greasing roller bearings to get grease in behind the rollers. I use this frequently at work for roller bearings.
Hi Zach,
Love the girls. Great video. Thanks a bunch to you and your wife.
I live in Kansas and we got most of that rain u see I work on a farm down here and it’s been so wet down here that we haven’t planted corn yet just spent the last three days working on our Kenzie planter had to replace all the shafts for the gauge wheels but we’re close to planting now. Love watching your videos learning a little bit from them
Dude you’re living my dream. I’ve always wanted to get into farming and agriculture, grew up around it but family farm shut down before I was born. Wish I could do what you do man your videos are awesome.
I saw a farmer shelling corn today in the Illinois River bottoms while others were planting. The corn was actually standing good.
We were doing the same thing yesterday. We have all the machinery ready to go. Now it's mainly waiting for the fields to dry & see if the weather will cooperate. Sounds like cooler & maybe a little wetter for the weekend. I hope not. Thanks for the video.
Thank You Zack. As per usual a very informative and entertaining slice of Minnesota farming life. FYI, at my age (67) yesterday, I prefer to 'putter' as farting around in an enclosed space can be dangerous! (And Uber smelly). Wishing you clear skies and no breakdowns for planting time, heavy yields in future. Can't wait to see some egg cam footage.
That songs been in my head all week, I love it!
Don’t worry ur not the only one. Old town road has been stuck in my head since the day the song came out lol
Awesome spring brings farming and the best thing racing 🏁🏁🏁🏁
Love your channel...videos and sense of humor...love all the kids and pets...beer and steak..what better ending? Thanks!
Nice spring almost here!
Dude I love your videos and I can't imagine the time you put into making them. Has to add a lot of hours to your day and week idk how you do it running a business and having young kids. All I can do is limp my way to the recliner by the time I get home but I was young once too! Keep up the good work
Use some large sticky pads and zip ties to hold the wiring up in the cab. you could do the same with the camera unit wiring along the frames and just cut the zip ties to get the wiring loom out to put on other machinery and when your ready to put it back just chuck in some fresh zip ties in the sticky pads that are still there. Love your videos
Row cleaners, residue management, we used to drag a trash wheel behind a 3 bottom plow.
Another nice video. Here in South Carolina corn is about 8-10” tall. I like the ag cam. Have a good one
I miss skipping and antics!! Product placement/sponsors, IMPORTANT.. Rewards for video work. LIKE !
cant wait for you to start
Great vid-tinker time my pops used to say that all he time. Good stuff
Best part of the video is the family love.
Like what your doing Zach. Keep it coming.
Thanks for sharing this video, you have a lot going on with your farm. New friend here from Australia, looking to watching more videos
Highbrow comedy!! Love ur sense of humor and videos in general keep em comin!!
I think you should’ve flipped the planter...
Haha. Kidding. Can’t wait to see the new tech on the planter out in the fields. Very impressive. Not even close to what you have, but I added electric row clutches to my 7240 8-Row that I can’t wait finally use.
Did the same thing yesterday. Got the planter out and started running stuff. 4 hours later the service techs rolled off the yard and we should be good to go.
You are one funny farmer. Thanks
Thank you sir, for your videos.
Out of all that my favorite part..your smile after the girls were leaving! Nothing better than a visit from the kids and telling you they love you to make you forget everything for a moment.🙏😇💞 "For Pete's sake Beck we have another barnyard critter!" 🐱🤣
Edit: Oh ya I forgot..🎤Wayne's World Wayne's World, party time, excellent 🎸🎸 Party on Garth🤓
Bout time these start to pop back up on my recommended list!! Its Millennial time boys!
Alright! Planting time is almost here!
You can buy little square wire holders that have a sticky adhesive back to hold the wires. The best part is that, I think, there's a small hole to pull wires out if you need them. People I work with use them all the time. Very Cheap. They get them from McMaster Carr.
That kit really stood up to the pressure
You are a Great Dad!
Great video, and thanks for getting "old town road" stuck in my head.
thanks for getting it stuck in my head now for the 13th day straight!
Haven't seen the full episode and I love it lol
In Idaho they go to coffee shop in new pickups and tell each other how busy they are lol 😂
We have several of those guys here too!!
It's almost go time!!
I like how you open boxes. That’s how I will
Open all boxes 📦 from now on. Thanks for teaching me that 😂
Hello from Southwest Louisiana.Just got rain last night.
Great entertainment on the singing Zach. Nice video.
great video one again Zac, LOL it was so funny how u opened ur loomax thing, good idea👍👌 Keep up the good work! God bless you and your family
Ready to go for some tractor rides and see some planting!
The needle lube tip is what you inject your steak with for much more flavor, I personally like the red kind for that
When the 8360 turns on, you just hear the beginning of the song where my heart will take me
i would order 2 more cameras with wire only, and have 2 machines already for work. and your little ladies, and the new puppy are just beautiful
Peterson brothers, Assaria Ks, a short 5 miles away. Great family! Fun parodies.
I sure wish you got mail everyday. Its always fun seeing how you gonna open a package. Lol
Ty
Saw this posted. All I can think is Party time Excellent!
putting the camera on the back for the long side view is the money shot
Good evening!!
Old town road! That makes a lot more sense. Thought the lyrics where “take my horse to the hotel room” was thinking that poor horse is gonna fall though the floor! Try explaining that one to the hotel manager.
Excellent!
Great video young man!
I like how you have a mint machine shed and all of your machines look cared for! I have been on a lot of farms with my work over the years as a pre-millennial, baby boomer born in 66 farm worker/welder/dogs body here in the UK and some of the farms have been shitholes and machines are wrecks basically fit for scrap!
keep up the good work!
Tinker is alright when U have all the equipment in the shop. You can't be messing around it's all work.
Loved the Wayne's World reference...totally got it immediately. It would almost be worth it to actually disconnect the cables from the battery each time.
Love the videos!!
Those Lumax fittings sure are strong.
Hello Zach. Your videos are so awesome I surprised all of your business associates have not ask to be sponsors. You know like John Deer, Battery Company, and all the others. Hello Mrs. Johnson.
Thank You you for all the work you put into these videos.
George
Deltaville, Va
Lube your tools always
Too funny. Running over the lube kit.
Good morning, Zach!
Nice sign-off.
Ah running new electronics for the first time is always so much fun.
I'm not a lawyer, but i pretty sure I can get back any money spent on singing lessons ;-)
Really felt the “I wanna know what love is” segment 😂
Great video!
As soon as you said camera 1 camera 2 I repeated it and said Haha Wayne's world then you said it back, the mrs just shook her head lol 🤘🏼🤘🏼 keep it rocking with your top vids 👍🏼👍🏼
Was waiting for the Chet Shoes plug at the 9 minute mark. Subliminal as always.
Even with your larger sponsor now, happy you still recognizing your earlier smaller sponsorship companies
Oh the good stuff!
Field work going on in the Crookston, MN, area today (April 27th). Gotta go north to find the Banana Belt!😁
Always look forward to your videos. And the look on your daughters face when she gets the animal joke 😂
Great video
I had to subscribe after that Lumax bit
Doggy is growing fast and I noticed the floor sweep.
