So cool that Martyn played this on the original synthesiser that he bought and wrote this classic electronic tune.
It still sounds utterly futuristic, and unlike any electronic music you’ll hear nowadays.

Of course the lyrics to Being Boiled was written by Philip Oakey but it was Glenn Gregory that Martyn Ware and Ian Craig Marsh originally wanted. Oakey got the job because Gregory was unavailable

But it had no lyrics, and Oakey came back with lyrics that were so 'out there'.
It was all very fortuitous how it worked out.
