Trina is such a professional. It would be so easy to just move on from a show that left her with trauma. Instead she is accepting apologies and choosing to focus on positives of working on the show. I really love seeing some of the cast together and hope they truly have grown and aren't just putting on a good front.

Long story short she wasn't treated the best by her cast not to mention she got a lot of really negative letters from "fans" that were upset with her ending up with Shawn smh. I mean in regards to the cast I think they were all young and I don't think the "negative treatment" was intentional it was more so they just didn't know how to act with the only black actor on the show. Like someone stated they didn't even hire a stylist early on to do her hair so she had to do her own. I mean obviously a lot has changed over the years (and some as stayed the same), but in the 90's interracial dating on screen wasn't that common too. She didn't deserve the hate mail she got from jackasses that A wouldn't of had a chance the date the actor that plays Shawn anyway and B didn't realize its a fucking show smh.

I had heard about the show not having a hairdresser/stylist for her at first and had heard about the staff being awkward around her. I had also heard about the fans (I discount about half of them as kids under 15, who just didn't know better, rather than genuine hatred) I hadn't heard about the cast having awkwardness with her. If Danielle apologized for it, it must have at least existed from one of them.
This show was not just entertaining but actually taught valuable life applying lessons. Literally following the same cast as they grew up dealing with life's challenges that anyone could relate to! you don't find that kind of raw righting...everything now is just superficial over dramatized! And EVERYONE needs Mr. Feeny in their lives, we ALL need him. One of the most iconic tv show characters!

I grew up with Boy Meets World. I’m 31 now. I loved this show. It always had a positive message and wasn’t afraid to bring up important issues a kid/young adult may face. I’m re-watching it and it makes me miss being a kid. Lol.
This show brings back so many memories from when I was a kid. I love this show as a kid and still love it as an adult. Mr.Feeny was the coolest teacher ever.
I was the same age as the cast when this show originally aired. I literally grew up with Corey, Shawn, and Topanga. For me, it was so relatable and I've got a ton of memories surrounding this show. Absolutely loved it!

Growing up with boy meets world has taught me so much in life including friendship, respect for others including your elders, family, being careful with the temptation of drugs and drinking and so much much more! I wish everyone would’ve grown up with this show especially this generation that desperately needs it! Seeing Mr feenie just shows how much time has passed over the years even though it hasn’t felt like it has, I swear it feels like the series finale was literally like 2 years ago!
I absolutely loved this show! It was fun, funny, and taught some really great lessons. It was one of the few shows that did all three things really well.
I can't believe that it's almost 30 years!!!!! I feel so old. I started watching boy meets world back when I was in elementary and it was on TGIF. Then i rewatched the first seasons when they were in the Disney channel. Such a great show, i love going back to rematch the episodes throughout the years. And now that i know that there's going to be a podcast where they are going back to rewatch the episodes and give their commentary and share their memories of each episode, i am totally going to rewatch along. I also love "I hear voices" with Will Freiddle and Christine Carlson Romano. If you are a big fan of animation (especially from back in the days), I totally recommend the podcast.
I dealt with alot of anxiety and depression growing up but...i could always count on shows like Boy Meets World to snap out of whatever I was going through and have a laugh. I remember the Friday TGIF lineup...Family Matters, Boy Meets World, Step By Step, and Hangin' With Mr. Cooper.

I loved seeing Mr Feeny but at the same time made me so sad :( that he’s so old now. A reminder that time keeps on passing and one day he won’t be here anymore. He was a mentor to the cast but also to all of us who grew up watching the show. A voice of reason and compassion and discipline all rolled into one. Don’t go Mr Feeny :/ reverse time pls
I like that it had heart and made fun of itself, but also remembered that it had a responsibility to teach its viewers. Whether it was Mr Feeny teaching Cory and Shawn great life lessons, or Mr. Matthews showing what it meant to be a good dad in the best of times and worst of times. People forget, but Boy Meets World actually dealt with a lot of heavy issues intertwined with all the fun and games. Shawn joining a cult was one of the most powerful episodes I've ever seen in ANY show for instance. Cory and Shawn getting drunk (I think Disney didn't air this episode, but its a heavy one, and needed teachable moment). They dealt with death, abuse, sex, which I know other shows did as well, but I think they were probably the best one when it came to finding that balance between comedy and drama. That's a great testament to Michael Jacobs the creator, all the show's writers, and of course an incredibly rangy cast who could play both genres so believably. As 90's kids, we were truly spoiled with so many amazing shows, but I definitely think this one was one of a kind for sure.
Man it's great to see them all together again never missed an episode! being 30 years old i'm extremely jealous i never got to experience the relationship Topanga and Cory had.

She said she experienced racism on set, was called derogatory names, felt "dissed" for her religious beliefs, was made to feel like she didn't belong, and felt that other "white figure" actors were advancing in their careers or being invited to things, and not her. She publicly made all these issues known many years later on twitter, and has mentioned that Rider and Danielle have gone above and behind to heal their past issues.

Boy meets world showed me everything about growing up and I can’t thank them enough. I would always tell myself, when I have a son. I will show him this show and learn. Now I have a 3yr old son. I watch the series every couple of years. I don’t want to lose the emotions and feelings this show has. Love this show so much

They look really bad like damn what the hell happened to them. My dad's a white ginger man and he did not start looking old until he was 58 years old and my mom who is half white and half Gypsy (Roma) she didn't start looking old until she was 72 years old. It's seriously so funny like we have a family portrait where my dad is like 37 and my mom was 45 and my sibling were between the ages of 4 yrs and 3 months. When people would come over to our house and see that picture in the hallway they would be super surprised. Because they think in that picture they're both 30 years old. Also my mama uses a lot of moisturizer I will say that play the lot in it too. And most white people get a lot of sun to which ages their skin top of not using moisturizer and taking care of their skin.
I met Will, Danielle, Rider and Ben at a con pre-covid and Danielle, Rider and especially Will was SOOOO nice. Couldn't talk to Ben but it was an honor! If they ever tour again, I recommend meeting them.

i almost cried when i saw Mr Feeny he had such an amazing character on the show felt like he helped in raising me and many others in my generation. He was an amazing actor on that show too as i got the older i realized how good he really was
As someone who grew up with Boy Meets World my favorite thing about Girl Meets World was all of the references and throwbacks to Boy Meets World. My personal favorite being the episode with the lodge where Riley talked to that kid all night. At the end when he say "Mr. Mathews. My mother says Hello". Haha the look on Corey and Topanga's face was everything. 🤣
It truly was a great time! Coming home from school on a Friday, just waiting for the new episode to come on! As a 33 year old adult, I recently went back and watched the series again, and it means even more as an adult.

Boy meets world was my show. It was a must watch. Great times with great memories. I meet Feeney a few years back in boston... amazing show Trina is still a super fox.
I have been digging Matthew since he was taking a break. He has never not been a little cutie patootie. And always a very sure, grounded acting Talent. Just fabulous.

Before she and Danielle talked, Trina mentioned that Will was the only one who ever apologized.

I grew up with Boy Meets World. I’m 31 now. I loved this show. It always had a positive message and wasn’t afraid to bring up important issues a kid/young adult may face. I’m re-watching it and it makes me miss being a kid. Lol.

This show brings back so many memories from when I was a kid. I love this show as a kid and still love it as an adult. Mr.Feeny was the coolest teacher ever.
I was the same age as the cast when this show originally aired. I literally grew up with Corey, Shawn, and Topanga. For me, it was so relatable and I've got a ton of memories surrounding this show. Absolutely loved it!

Growing up with boy meets world has taught me so much in life including friendship, respect for others including your elders, family, being careful with the temptation of drugs and drinking and so much much more! I wish everyone would’ve grown up with this show especially this generation that desperately needs it! Seeing Mr feenie just shows how much time has passed over the years even though it hasn’t felt like it has, I swear it feels like the series finale was literally like 2 years ago!
I absolutely loved this show! It was fun, funny, and taught some really great lessons. It was one of the few shows that did all three things really well.

I can't believe that it's almost 30 years!!!!! I feel so old. I started watching boy meets world back when I was in elementary and it was on TGIF. Then i rewatched the first seasons when they were in the Disney channel. Such a great show, i love going back to rematch the episodes throughout the years. And now that i know that there's going to be a podcast where they are going back to rewatch the episodes and give their commentary and share their memories of each episode, i am totally going to rewatch along.
I also love "I hear voices" with Will Freiddle and Christine Carlson Romano. If you are a big fan of animation (especially from back in the days), I totally recommend the podcast.
I dealt with alot of anxiety and depression growing up but...i could always count on shows like Boy Meets World to snap out of whatever I was going through and have a laugh. I remember the Friday TGIF lineup...Family Matters, Boy Meets World, Step By Step, and Hangin' With Mr. Cooper.

I like that it had heart and made fun of itself, but also remembered that it had a responsibility to teach its viewers. Whether it was Mr Feeny teaching Cory and Shawn great life lessons, or Mr. Matthews showing what it meant to be a good dad in the best of times and worst of times. People forget, but Boy Meets World actually dealt with a lot of heavy issues intertwined with all the fun and games. Shawn joining a cult was one of the most powerful episodes I've ever seen in ANY show for instance. Cory and Shawn getting drunk (I think Disney didn't air this episode, but its a heavy one, and needed teachable moment). They dealt with death, abuse, sex, which I know other shows did as well, but I think they were probably the best one when it came to finding that balance between comedy and drama. That's a great testament to Michael Jacobs the creator, all the show's writers, and of course an incredibly rangy cast who could play both genres so believably. As 90's kids, we were truly spoiled with so many amazing shows, but I definitely think this one was one of a kind for sure.

Boy meets world showed me everything about growing up and I can’t thank them enough. I would always tell myself, when I have a son. I will show him this show and learn. Now I have a 3yr old son. I watch the series every couple of years. I don’t want to lose the emotions and feelings this show has. Love this show so much

My dad's a white ginger man and he did not start looking old until he was 58 years old and my mom who is half white and half Gypsy (Roma) she didn't start looking old until she was 72 years old. It's seriously so funny like we have a family portrait where my dad is like 37 and my mom was 45 and my sibling were between the ages of 4 yrs and 3 months. When people would come over to our house and see that picture in the hallway they would be super surprised. Because they think in that picture they're both 30 years old. Also my mama uses a lot of moisturizer I will say that play the lot in it too. And most white people get a lot of sun to which ages their skin top of not using moisturizer and taking care of their skin.

I met Will, Danielle, Rider and Ben at a con pre-covid and Danielle, Rider and especially Will was SOOOO nice. Couldn't talk to Ben but it was an honor! If they ever tour again, I recommend meeting them.

As someone who grew up with Boy Meets World my favorite thing about Girl Meets World was all of the references and throwbacks to Boy Meets World. My personal favorite being the episode with the lodge where Riley talked to that kid all night. At the end when he say "Mr. Mathews. My mother says Hello". Haha the look on Corey and Topanga's face was everything. 🤣

I hear that most people only watched Girl Meets World because of The Boy Meets World references. Plus Boy Meets World aired on ABC and not Disney so the content is more edgey than what Disney would allow. It didn't show on Disney until after the show ended.

Will apologized (sincerely) and they’re on good terms. I know she and Danielle made amends over zoom or something last year. I don’t think she and Ben are on good terms though. Before she and Danielle talked, Trina mentioned that Will was the only one who ever apologized.
