The RAM amount is actually decent if you pick up Pulse + or Pulse Pro, if they want to use Unisoc, it should at least be T612 or T616, or Snapdragon 480+ instead
Based on review, the screen is actually decent enough, just reflective typical of an affordable smartphone. The only annoying thing is the underpowered chipset

Sorry, HMD, you are going in wrong direction. There's no promo video that'll change the experience when you actually use the phone. I used Nokia G21 (same processor and same amount of memory) and it is an awful experience. Who would want to use that for 5 years?

With that processor the first thing you'll be replacing is the phone. Even my mom's Nokia G42 is not the smoothest phone around and it has a snapdragon
Mine is very smoth and i even play games on high settings on it but i disable all apps i dont need a uninstall some hmd shitty apps with Shizuku.
That Snapdragon is 480 which is entry level.another thing that make it slow is HMD using eMMC 5.1 which is from early 2010's tech.
It's like PC using hard disk from 2008 on Windows 11 while processor is from Intel core i3 2017. They should use SSD as bare minimum

Why? "HMD"? If it was branded as Nokia, great, everyone's heard of it, one of the most successful phone companies but HMD? No. On top of that Nokia's made better phones more than five years ago.

I bought this phone and it is great. For the price it works good, is fast enough and easy to use.
Bawa kembali Nokia! Lebih baik kembangkan Nokia dan buatlah Nokia PureView/Nokia Pulse dibanding membuat smartphone baru dengan nama HMD Pulse. Nama Nokia Pulse/Nokia PureView terdengar lebih baik dibanding HMD Pulse. Contohlah Huawei yang bisa bangkit!

The processor is a no go. Nokia G21 (2022) -> T606 / Nokia G22 (2023) -> T606 / HMD Pulse, Pulse Pro, Pulse Plus (2024) -> T606.
You can buy G42 or G60, that's a better value

How can a phone be sustainable when it's not good enough to keep using it in the first place? I love the concept and I've been rooting for you since the new Nokia under HMD but you gotta understand that specs matter too.

It's look like I'm watching a smartphone commercial from 2022 😂. I mean who cares about a mediocre 4G phone when there are tons of options already out there and all of them are viable and cost less. Uth the UNISOC T606 it can be barely usable after Android 15. So what's the point of clinging onto this garbage?

@@Meowie765the problem is not chinese, the problem is T606 has same performance as Snapdragon 630 from 2017.
There's a newer One called T740 that has same performance as Snapdragon 690 but HMD want to maximise profits
Tried out the peace sign and thumbs up selfie gesture on my Pulse in Atmos Blue that I bought from JB Hi-Fi-an effortless way to snap the perfect selfie-neat-o! 👍
Mine's the 4GB RAM + 4GB virtual RAM/128GB storage in Atmos Blue which is such a snazzy blue colourway.
All it right, but I'm highly concerned, why hmd isn't introducing it's own UI? Stock UI is quite boring. One of the reasons SAMSUNG ruling, it's one Ui.
Mate Samsung UI is shite honestly. A clean stock UI just looks nice without any bloatware
