So I'm looking at getting this awning and the list it as a left or right side. Is that from the perspective of sitting in your rig? I'm in Montana, USA so driver side is the left, which it where I would want it to sit. I just want to double check that I get the right one before I order it.
Good question. The perspective is from sitting in the vehicle i.e. your drivers seat is on the left in the US, so you would need a right side awning if you want it to be on the passenger side. ~ Ben
Jamie Baumgarten RhinoRack might have a bracket to suit. The Oztent Foxwing used to be a joint RhinoRack & Oztent product but they went their seperate ways and now RhinoRack’s 270 degree awning is a Batwing & Oztent kept their name of Foxwing. RR have got a few different types of mounting brackets for awnings so best check RhinoRacks website & no doubt there will be something to suit your awning and roof rack setup
We had to nab these from another demo awning, Jamie, but they aren't available separately sorry. I did see some similar brackets online though, you may just need to search around for something to suit your set up. ~ Ben
Same here, cannot find that bracket, I like the way it sits on top of the rack and not on the outside of it. It’s also raised this way. Seems like it will clear the cargo door on my LR4 that swings up. Any tips on where we can find it?
Thanks for this, nice and easy
No worries!

I've mounted mine to the mesh of the roof rack with the supplied L brackets with the backing plate. Will this hold for a 28kg 30 second awning?
I can't say for sure sorry, Jarrod. I'd suggest checking the specifications for your roof rack. ~ Ben

Where can you buy the brackets?

Such an odd thing to comment for something that’s digital…?
