There is no reason to buy the 520 dollar Variations when the Nova exists for 120 dollars. I dont even EQ the Novas, they sound that good. The frequency response on the Nova is the best I have ever heard in a headphone/earphone. The ear hooks are not a problem at all for me, they are perfectly comfortable (i have slim ears). Truthear recommends wearing the dual flange silicon tips, but I recommend the foam ear tips for the best seal and the added bonus of a small reduced treble response in the 6 and 10 kHz range (which is were the peaky treble is). The carrying pouch it comes with has a good large zipper and can be clipped to your belt loop so you don't have to cram the Nova in your pocket, it doesn't feel super cheap. The cable has minimal vibration, barely any sound at all when walking with the foam tips with no music playing. With music on, the music drowns out any tiny cable sound completely. The cable is good quality despite what people are saying. You recommend the hexa instead. The problem with the Hexa is the lack of bass and the dip in the treble (which is even worse with foam tips), it sounds too flat and unrealistic.
I use Truthear Zero. Will I feel better if I take Truthear Nova or Simgot EM6L? Which iem model do you use for games? I also want to relieve the tiredness of the day by listening to music.
do these insert deep into your ear canal? i have medium sized ears and the tangzu waner did not insert deeply into my ear canals with the spinfit cp100
Why are you eating your words, hard to understand what you are saying at all. Plus using sean olive as a bait in your thumbnail is a bruh + cringy move. Speaking of the Harman Target, I applaud you for not stating "fvck another Harman Target IEM, boring as hell, we need flavors yada yada" unlike that one pseudoscientist that has the gut to lecture Sean Olive in twitter (is it in audio reviewer's memorandum to embarass themselves everytime...smh). If you hate the Harman Target and is one of the outliers just say you don't like it, no need to push the agenda to everyone to hate it... like bruh, these reviewers can't even make a paper to properly contradict what is stated in the research.
7:01 dude lets talk about your math here, the vari is 520 without sale and about 400 at the biggest discount , thats still alot more than double the price of the nova at 150. thats a very easy decision for most people. and when you criticize the artwork on the box, do give an alternative example, from what i saw its usually either a boring font on white text or a picture of the iem. personnally i would take any artwork over that. and no review of nova i saw mentioned anything about the artwork being pink and the iem being blue. did no one notice?
Box in the box, in the box
Kek
*Correction, Variations at the moment is almost three times the price
Another great review. Any recommendations for 6mm ear tips?
The Velvets should work fine if you stretch them, 6mm is definitely okay for them.
cp155 is good option too
what happened to your channel?
The long awaited review lol
Nice review! 💙
So close to 500 subs! 🙂

yoo which would you pick out of this and the chopin for jpop
Chopin as the upper mids are less shouty
Harman IE treble is pain. In all seriousness, I am a bit allergic to treble like you. Good work on the review, thanks!
Harman IE wad exclusively made by old people, coincidence. I think not 🗿

Nova
thinking to get nova for smooth treble then make it jm-1 with combo of freedsp and green knowles damper (bf 1861)
What EQ software did you use and what play did you do with it?
Peace EQ just to bring the treble down a little
@@CammyFi thank you :)

Eating my words? Have you got any more specific criticism I can use. 🤝

Who cares about the contrast of the colour of the box and the iem 🧐
Also, I'd rather truthear put a picture of an adult on the box instead of a child 🗿
Goofy ahh anime pfp child lover.
@@CammyFi if you see a child in that you may need to consult a real therapist to get this one sorted
💀
Did you EQ it?
Yes
@@CammyFi so far it’s priced do you think it’s the best or do you recommend something else?
♥
Is this supposed to fit a human ear?
If you're built like dumbo, perhaps.
Im not big on bass, so i do quite enjoy the hexa.
