The last few years of his career were just one tantrum after another. I don’t think he handled JJ overshadowing him at Hendrick well.
Holy shit, it's a talking muffin Gordon owned a small percentage of it. There were several times during races that Gordon let it slip over the radio that he thought the #48 team was getting preferential treatment at Hendrick. It’s not hard to find.

The Harvick push to get the party started was epic. Brad pissed off a lot of people back then. If you can get boring Kenseth mad enough to fight you've done something really bad. We need some passion right this today.
Being a Gordon fan, I was so upset about Texas. It did look like he came down in to Brad and he didn't expect him to be there. It's just a shame with the points system we had that that one incident ruined such a great season for Jeff.
Totally 100% Gordon's fault. But the drivers don't have the benefit of watching the replays immediately before fighting each other lol.
Sean McCauley That’s What I was thinking when I saw the replay however even if Jeff made it to Homestead Miami there was a really good chance he wasn’t going to win, Harvick was strong coming in and on that last restart even if Gordon stayed out Kevin would have pasted because he had fresher tires than Jeff

In that first riot, I counted at least 4 teams involved and actively fighting, two of them with only a couple of guys fighting, and then the Godaddy team in the middle trying to break it up as the fifth team. Most notable fighter was the guy from the Great Clips team on the bottom right corner of the screen at 1:39 who just came out of nowhere, into a fight his team wasn't involved in, and just started punching people in the back of the head. I don't know who that guy was, but what a piece of shit.
