I still think Tony Stewart backing up into Brad Keselowski after Brad's post-race antics is one of the greatest/coolest moves in the history of NASCAR.
Brandon It’s that same feeling of satisfaction like when you back up out of blue in the hallway after someone’s been stepping on the back of your feet.
The radio calls for all of this are even more entertaining. If I remember right. After he hit Tony, Dennys guys were like, "Leave it alone, smoke will take care of it" or something along those lines.
When he went to hit the back of Gordon's car, he probably just wanted to bump him back after getting ran up the track by Gordon, who was already upset and brake-checked Burton causing the wreck.
1:30 Shane Hmiel seems like that kind of racer who doesn’t care who he pushed or wrecked especially Dale Jarrett who’s a hall of famer dumb move on him! Give shane the A hole award
@@GiDD504NASCAR has changed a lot between 2003 and now. 2003 was the last year of the Winston Cup era and points format and a lot of people consider that the end of the golden era
@@GiDD504 In 2004, NASCAR switched to the new "Chase For The Cup" format along with new series sponsor Nextel which a few years later would be bought by Sprint. So that was the Nextel Cup/Sprint Cup era. Then in 2015, NASCAR switched to the current playoff format and in 2016 added stages and stage points to the playoffs and switched from the old rule of Top 35 in points are locked in to the race every week and whoever is outside the Top 35 has to "go or go home" in qualifying to make the show (43 car fields, usually more than 43 cars attempted the race) to the new charter system where if you buy a charter you are locked in to every race and only unchartered rides get eliminated if more than 40 cars (36 chartered rides) attempt the race. But we rarely even see 40 cars show up anymore so nobody misses the race anymore except for the Daytona 500 where a bunch of unchartered cars attempt that race every year. Few years later, Sprint left as series sponsor and was briefly replaced by Monster Energy before the cup series just dropped series sponsors altogether and is now just the NASCAR Cup Series

No doubt

You can really tell how much Kurt matured and got better with his emotions with just that interview at Dega
Kurt? Matured? Ha ha ha ha ha. He should have been banned from NASCAR years ago.
I always thought Kurt just pulled up next to Harvick at talladega just to say good job, I don't think he was actually mad at him
Now if only Kyle could do the same
Rusty say "I'm not in the mood right meow"? I miss that guy. Rusty was my favorite.
Did that kid really flip off Dale Jarrett? You don't flip off Dale Jarrett. Dale Jarrett is one of the nicest people in the sport.

Great videos so far, thanks for these!

Jeff Burton helped Jimmie win his 5th title. That wreck allowed Chad to swap pit crews and the rest is history

Dale Jarrett outlasted Shane Hmiel 🤣🤣 (And I think even Shane would laugh about that today)
