  • Simple Simple Simple Tuna Recipe. Quanto Basta (means as much as you like, to taste) and Dolce Vita (enjoy a life full of pleasure and luxury)! Recipe below.
    INGREDIENTS:
    Tuna Steaks
    Olive Oil
    Chopped White Onions
    Red Wine Salt
    Black Pepper
    Dried Rosemary
    Apple Cider Vinegar with Mother (optional is red wine vinegar)
    METHOD:
    1) Saute the chopped onions until caramelized. Remove from pan.
    2) Add olive oil to pan and heat slightly, add the wine salt, add the fresh parsley leaves.
    3) Add the tuna steaks and saute on both sides until seared or browned.
    4) When the tuna is ready, add the prepared onions. Saute together another minute with the lid on.
    5) Add a few tablespoons of vinegar, put the lid on the pan. Saute less than another minute. It's Done.
    Serve with Cold Raw Salads:
    1) Caprese Salad - Layer on a large plate: sliced Tomatoes, sliced small red Onions, Drizzle with olive oil, add salt and pepper. Let this sit for a few hours. Then add the Buffalo Cheese, avocado slices; drizzle a little more olive oil on top; add Dried Rosemary.
    2) Celery Salad - Mix finely chopped Celery including the Celery Leaves & finely chopped white onion. Add vinegar, salt, pepper, olive oil. Let marinade for an hour.
    3) Mix Sliced Red Bell Pepper with raw onion slices. Add Vinegar. salt, pepper, olive oil. Let marinade for an hour.
    Serve with Dark Belgium Beer with 1 inch of foam. Beer is always good! Wine is also good!
