      I like them both for different reasons. The SCX24 line is fun, easy to mod and they are well built. The WPLs take the hobby to another level by making you think, tinker and tune to get what you want out of them. To me thats what makes WPL fun. I just like messing with RCs no matter the brand. If it interests me I will give them a try! Thanks for stopping by!

    Hello, how is the durability on both of them? I can see they tend to fall a lot.
    I have ordered a WPL C24-1 with some metal upgrades, bigger motor and servo on axle. I will keep the plastic linkages and the suspension (will mod the springs) as weak points to avoid any chassis damage.
    I am happy spare parts are cheap but they do need 1-2 months to arrive.

    • @RunThatRC

    I'll stick with my SCX24. tempted with a WPL kit but it all looks so cheap and brittle. by the time you get it to where it "should" be you would have paid for a SCX. buy cheap buy twice

    • @RunThatRC
      @RunThatRC  3 года назад +2

      I say get a KM kit and give it a try. They are fun to mod like the scx24 but bigger. That's a completely stock WPL C24KM. It was a kit and I built it up with all wpl electronics. The KM verisons of the kits have all the metal goodies already included. Trust me you would only see me run name brand stuff back in the day. Then when looking for a small scale toyota kit to mess with I found these. So decided what the heck I like this model because I'm a fan of the real deal. I purchased four being so cheap so I would have spares(mind you this was before they sold KM kits) I upgraded all four of them! This sparked my interest in the budget/no name brand RCs. I show RCs on my channel that I enjoy and when I review RCs they usually send me something I would be interested in.
      My Axial Ryft According to the majority of owners say it needs another $500 to $1000 in upgrades before it will perform right and without breakage. That's more upsetting in comparison imo.
