I know that's kinda the bare minimum of a reaction video, but SOO many people never properly take the time to understand and pay attention to videos when reacting. I appreciate that! 👌

I think you should watch the character teaser too cause you already watched all character demo's. It contains some of the characters story, it's not a huge spoiler about the story, but just a simple eksplanation for the character

43:52 I love the chosen title "Father". Because "Mother" was a kind and sweet woman outwardly but was an evil twisted witch on the inside. So now, Arlecchino became "Father" who is cold and unfeeling outwardly, but is loving and caring on the inside

to answer your first quesion. They have started hte game after finishing the entire story board. What we see is basically the animated playable version of it xD
Some characters that appear in the shorts that have not appeared in the demos are actually from version 1.0. Not every character got their own demo at launch, I can think of 13 that haven't got anything: Sucrose, Noelle, Amber, Lisa, Jean, Diluc, Bennett, Razor, Chongyun, Xingqiu, Ningguang and Beidou. Amber was namedropped in Collei's demo and shown in Eula's, Beidou appeared both in Kazuha's demo and teaser, also both Diluc and Ningguang appeared in the Travail trailer (1:31 and 1:46)
The only non-limited 1.0 characters that got any sort of video are Fischl (only Chinese demo), Kaeya, Keqing, Mona, Qiqi and Xiangling.
6:26 The lore is way deeper than in many other games people just dont know about the lore cuz its not given to them on a silver platter. You must do side quests, read item dicriptions and books etc. To get the full story and theories for the future.
Who would have thought of an open world exploring game that requires exploration to get the full story 😅.However, it is true that some people simply do not play the game to its full potential.
Honestly you don't really need to look through every single nook and cranny to enjoy the lore. It's really time consuming and not everyone has that much time on their hands. The main story line is interesting enough that you don't need to read every item description in the game. Sure they give you some snippets but it's just that. Archon quests and the main side quests of the region are completely enough to immerse yourself.

@@nicholasg.6175 That is true and don't get me wrong their good and only getting better until one of the important characters in the main quest has their complete backstory and motivation only told in an artifact (cough cough signora).

Can you PLEASE watch the fan animated Genshin videos from Hamelin? There's 3 big ones, the "Tales of the Fatui" "Light in Abyss" and "Unawakened Dream". As far as i know they were made in collaboration with hoyoverse and they're based on in-game lore, but the animations themselves are not canon and are just simply an artists interpretation of the lore. They're great nonetheless and worth a watch (the music and animation is really good)

Yes, all locations you've seen in all the videos are real locations in the game. Even the ruined buildings, you will see it.
For the harbingers: Arlecchino and Childe and technically Wanderer/Scaramouche are the only playable harbingers in game at the moment. Dottore, Arlecchino, Childe, Signora, Wanderer, and Capitano are the only Harbingers with official in-game models. (You’ll learn what happens with Signora and Scara in the game so I’m not spoiling anything)
I don't think this is a spoiler, but the people in the first "roadmap" trailer aren't gods, just people from the same region as that god

You should watch the Teasers and version trailers. The teasers go in depth of the character's backstories while the version trailers shows all the events that has led up to this point and the events that are no longer in the game

The is game was planned 7 years in advance before its launch in 2020, the fact that the story behind this game started in 2013 is insane, almost 12 years ago

You can go to those places in the game, yes. make sure u set the in-game quality to highest and you will notice something amazing especially on Inazuma ( Narukami Island Village )

Genshin music is peak fr , and plz upload footages of you rolling for characters , playing them and testing them , exploration and endgame mode along side the main story play through, and ofc the Story quests !! Also good thing is that Arlecchino (the woman with the cross eyes) is probably gonna have a rerun banner one of the next versions! (This is a speculation from trustworthy leakers)
Usually the reason why animated shorts and cinematics look like they have a much higher quality is because it's a lot easier to allocate the budget/time for a smaller production. Something like a full show needs to fight a lot harder for a larger budget, so they end up having to cut a lot more corners if they can't secure said budget or time.
Knowing HoYo and Ufotable tho, if they do release an anime it'll definitely have the budget!
don't forget the character teaser please it must be an absolute peak!

what a lot of writer do is leave a lot of open questions and stuff, and then later decide on when they want to answer said question, obviously they preplanned to some degree, most stories are

In the Teyvat Chapter trailer you watched first, the first two didn't have character demos. They are Diluc(Claymore and Pyro Vision), and Ninnguang(Catalyst and Geo Vision), understandable you wouldn't recognize them.

Animated shorts by genshin are something else. And most of them just randomly get released without any warning
Since you mentioned doing the rest of genshin, and planning to do ZZZ and HSR I'd love to see you do their earlier games of Honkai Impact 3rd and maybe even their older but generally forgotten game by newer members of MiHoYo's games Houkai Gakuen 2 (Also called Gun Girls Z although it's harder to find good lists for them)
Make sure to watch the character teasers theyre mostly for 5 star characters(the highest rarity) But theyre really nice
