After I record and go back to listen to it, I can’t hear anything. I’m using a Yeti mic. What am I missing?

Check your preferences in Garageband and go to the sound tab. It looks like a speaker. That will show the input and output. You may listen through the yeti or set it to play back on your speakers. Hope that helps!

Do you have an idea of an adapter for Audio-Technica AT2020 USB+ Mic for MacBook Air (just bought it)? Didn't realize the Air doesn't have a USB port.. oops! 🤦🏿‍♂️

Thanks for subscribing. I am sure that there is a dongle to connect usb A (old version) with usb C(new). Audio technica might even have one. If not check the apple store.

Can you tell me how to increase the Waveforms on MacBook Pro? They are really small. Thank you.

Hi TayLar! Check the gain of your microphone into garageband. There should be a gain knob on the mic if you have a usb one and if using a preamp there will be a knob on it. You should be having the peaks go into the yellow on the channel meter. If they aren't the waveform will be small. The larger the waveform, the stronger the signal coming into the program.
