I mean on the one hand I can get that people are so amazed by cool clothes and merchandise. Obviously you buy the brand ending up feeling good about yourself while wearing it which is perfectly fine. But on the other hand I find it hard to comprehend that such a human made construct such as fashion sense has this enormous meaning for these people. You just need to take a step back and realize that nothing of this so-called "dopeness" is real. Are these people buying these products because of the product itself or because of the brand? What if society one day crumbles, will this brand mean anything? Does being a "hype beast" mean anything at all? It's all in people's heads. To me it appears to be an unhealthy obsession underlined by a deep down wish for reassurance and acceptance. Just be who you are and don't care what others think, "dopeness" comes from the inside and free yourself from societal pressure. Invest your time and effort in meaningful things, improve on yourself, pick a new hobby and learn something or maybe try and help others...I'm rambling on, but I hope somebody out there will get what I mean.

Like, I completely get it, part of the point of the video is to show just how rare some of these pieces are by showing the relative price to the current time, but, the quickness with which Wynn cuts straight to that question on every piece, idk, I guess it's just that initial phase that we all go through with Supreme; resale value over everything. Eventually though, you either get out of the trend completely and are just over it because you weren't ever truly into it, or, you go further and care less and less about the resale value of a particular piece, and place more value over what you personally think *looks* unique to you, and even more value yet into which stories behind which pieces excite you the most. Not a jab at Wynn or anything, but definitely just some wisdom that every single one of you out there watching will eventually come to, if you're still a part of this awesome subculture in the interim and coming years.
