  • On June 22nd, 2016, Jay Smith and Dr. Edip Yuksel debate for around 3 hours this important question concerning whether the Qur'an came from Allah, or whether it was just another man made document.
Jay argued for the latter, while Edip (who has his own 'Reformist' translation of the Qur'an in English) argued for the latter.
Watch the debate hear see which you feel had the better arguments.

As more information comes forward we will need to have videos like this to show how they have changed their words and meanings to cover their needed shiftings as we will see that the holes in the narrative grow.

What is the Muslim talking about. mainframe computers....etc. He never addressed the question....odd, even numbers, the number 19. off topic.....1+1+1 is undefined. Muslims always quote this. They do not understand the math. 1x1x1=1^3 This is infinity which is God. The theorem is more detailed but I ask Muslims to stop using 1+1+1. Al'lah is 1^0=1 or the oneness of [1=1] Al'lah. This is an imaginary straight line.

All Edip did was dodge all questions and criticize Christian belief. I thought topic was about the quran.
Good job Dr. Jay. May God continue to bless the works of you're hands 🙏

Very clear that Edip is creating his own version of peaceful islam. How can he even debate on this origin of quran when he inteprets it for his own interest?

I'm admitting, that I was in the past supporting numerology of the Bible and was even trying to convert my brother to Christianity with it, until he told me off. His job is informatic. He said, he could create such a program by himself, if he wanted, and find with its help numerology in any book. Such programs actually do already exist. It's just a game.

Jay is very good against Islam but I think he will be beaten badly against any good Catholic apologist like Trent Horn or Tim Staples. Jay knowledge about the Catholic Church lacks of biblical and historical fundaments.

Jays area of study is Islam not the corrupt Catholic church. He knows that the Catholic church follows traditions, but he is exposing islam.
But we need to help our brothers in the Catholic church and tell then the truth. God bless you Samuel

It's funny that one person who follows traditions criticizes another for the same reasons. Do you believe in scripture alone? Then show me in which part of the Bible says that the Bible is the only source of faith for any Christian. Remember "the word alone". Do you think the bible you have in your possession today is inspired by God? Then show me in which part of the Bible mentions the list of books that were inspired. You also follow a tradition because the biblical canon comes from the tradition of the Church which among so many writings that existed was able to determine which were inspired and which were not. The Biblical Canon is based on the tradition of the Church and if you believe in the Bible you are following the tradition of the Catholic Church. In addition to this all the scriptures come from tradition. Jesus Christ taught the gospel to the Apostles by word of mouth, the Apostles listened to it, lived it for years, and transmitted it by word of mouth for years, then some of them transmitted it in writing, and in the end the Church collects the writings and generates the biblical Canon. In addition to keeping other teachings that were not written, we all know that not everything was written. This is all elementary brother. Finally, you Protestants follow several other traditions not found in the Bible. For example, show me a Bible passage that says or shows that anyone can take the Bible and interpret it in their own way and then create a new church.
      Blessings

So far I know, numerology can be done to the works of Shakespeare! Does he become divine now? Numerology has been done to the Bile, especially to the creation story. There it is just as stupid as when done to the Quran! For the Bible they use number 7, which is a holy number in OT and NT. It stands for completion. The only verse, were it really matters is the verse. were Jesus answered the disciples question, how often they should forgive wrongdoers. He answered them, "AWAYS" using a combination of number 7. What significance has number 19 for Islam?

Edip Yuksel says he knows better than the Sunni and Shi'i. *If* that would even be true, it is a bit funny to object that Jay does listen to them and their views. Adip is right, that the truth will set us free. It is not a self-chosen truth though. Like the Word is not ink on paper but rather almasih, kalimatullah, likewise the Truth is.

Hellooo bros go study your Bible first because it has 50000 errors in your Bible (Awake magazine 1957 ,1958 ) We Muslims believe in the Gospel and we Muslims do not believe in the Bible because it is the word of Allah, it is the word of Jesus and it is the word of historians. Please try get a copy of Gospel of Barnabas or a copy of the Gospel St Tomes then you will know.

As Allah says in the Qur'an, with it (the Qur'an), people are guided, and with it, people are led astray, and no one is led astray ( with it ) except those that are perverse.
