It's always a possibility that a hacker killed you, but it's equally if not more likely someone spotted you by luck, ghillies arnt invisible cloaks, and it gives people a lot of false confidence. I love your videos you voice and the way you communicate your story. Please do more

I've been watching your videos since last summer, you are a really good story teller. Not everyone can tell a story in a captivating way, but you've got that thing. Hell, you should maybe do voice overs for nature documentaries etc, you should send your videos to National Geographic or something, along with your CV.

small chance someone logged out in a nearby tree, I once spawned in, in one of the camo netted sniper nests at the balota airstrip and I was inside a player.. i could see the back of his eyeballs.... this was on xbox(years ago, now on pc) and I killed him from inside his player model.... I bet he thought he was hack killed lol!
They probably have potato graphics. All the vegetation didn't show up on their screen, but your guy still appeared. Stick to hard cover - ain't nowhere safe.

Wow Owltime. Great vid, you’ll never guess the odds. However, I was the “poor fella” with the crossbow at the 15 mins mark who you sniped with the pioneer and my buddy up on the hills watching over my body who got avenged my death. Actually crazy to see the other POV of this fight. GG

I struggle to find the gameplay loop in DayZ enjoyable. I did like dayz mod back in like 2010 though
A few hours late but damn do these keep getting better! These DayZ videos are absolutely amazing not only because of your gameplay narration and editing skills but because of how much much it seems you actually enjoy them :>
I was on official, and this is what made me stop playing official for the time being - My girl and I were perched close together up on a hillside scoping out a town before deciding whether it was likely we'd experience any contact, server was probably about 30 players by estimate, we were both reasonably well geared with the basics but we usually go for fairly civvy looking clothes, though we do stick to earth tones and avoid bright colors. We had sat up in some pine trees and were scoping out the town. All of a sudden I die from nowhere, no sounds whatsoever. No uncon. Just one second I'm looking through my scope, the next frame "You are dead."
I tell her over comms I just got one tapped and to run up the hill, away from the town. Not 5 seconds later she reports that she was also dead. After this we discussed what had just occurred and she said she never heard any shots or bullet cracks from whatever shot killed me, nor any other follow up shots toward her as she was sprinting.
I explained that it was completely possible that someone had trailed us but the only two guns that would have produced zero noise other than perhaps a small impact noise would be a subsonic gun like the VSS or a SVAL. I theorized that the only way they were able to land an immediate follow up headshot, would have been if they were pretty close, and then you probably still would have heard something even from the suppressed VSS/SVAL. If they had been far away, and truly as she said, no noise was heard whatsoever, I find it very hard to believe that someone could land a 1-shot kill on someone sprinting up a hill from ranges that would have a VSS/SVAL being completely silent to the target.
I resigned that I don't know everything about the game so there may have been some other piece of equipment or situation I wasn't aware of that could have led to us getting shot, but from that point forward we started playing on community servers.
I don't like being someone that calls hacks, in fact I'm completely fine admitting skill issue on my part, but something definitely felt fishy about how we died.
I get that all the time. It's just players that know the game better than yourself thus the confusion. There is a crossbow that's silent and deadly if accurate. If you are in trees it feels like there is cover but from distance it doesn't render all the branches etc. So you basically stand out like dogs balls :()
Well I mean you on Offical you can make Rag shoes, he probably was using those and crept up on you because they make footsteps extremely muffled, and you did Hold your breath and gave him a Audio cue which allowed him to locate you and put you down, I'm not saying it wasnt a hacker but I'm not saying it wasnt either ❤❤

the dayz map chernaurus is only 181km squared, 236km squared if you count ocean but ocean isn’t playable ground so i don’t count it
The guy in the beginning who betrayed you he might have thought you were someone else Ive accidentally killed people I was cool with because they put on new clothes I mistakes them and shot them only to realise it was the person I was just sitting infront of a fire with and I felt like crap, I had no way to find them and apologize
I love and hate this game. The grind to get gear can be brutal and you can die any minute but on servers that give you more it gets boring… I have found I prefer to watch others play DayZ…😅
Thats why I quit all online multiplayer years ago. Hackers will always ruin it so I just avoid disappointment by never playing. Time is too important a resource to have it wasted by pathetic cheatards.
I rlly recommend you play the newest version of Wolf Quest! It is a survival game where you are a wolf and you fight for territory amongst other packs. I don’t think there is multiplayer PVP, but there is challenging battles between other wolfs from different packs. There is also a pup feature where you can have pups and guide them to the hunting grounds, protecting them along the way. I think you would rlly enjoy it!
The hunting functions are immaculate, and the game has remarkable scenery. There is a wide range of prey such as moose, elk, elk calfs, moose calfs, dear, fawns, rabbits, and predators aswell like bears, other wolves, eagles (pup predator), cougars, all with challenging battle functions. I would love to see u play through it!

I can relate, I stopped playing PUBG Mobile due to these MF Hackers. This is what kills the game, devs should know better having their game secured.

Seemed like the ghillie didnt know you were there until you held your breath. Also, ghillie suits aren't quite as camouflaged as you'd expect. If he was behind you, i'd guess he saw your breath rising.
I'm also mainly here for the Isle vids but I do also enjoy DayZ Adventures 👍

Dayz content is my jam. It's a fun idea that you're only using landmark maps.
I first came here because of the Isle videos even though I don't play that game. I've played a lot of Dayz though and I think you can get a lot of content out of it. Once you really get the ropes you should move on from Official Servers as soon as possible. You want to move on because official servers don't monitor for cheaters and it's just a matter of time before you get burned. Fyi there's several Basically Vanilla servers available if you don't like heavily modded servers
Relate heavily about official servers.. had a similar experience the other day. Hit up a hospital for meds and opened a door to a shotgun in the face from a camper. Oh well - Respawned and geared back up, slowly making my way inland. Ran all through the night with no light, following the powerlines through the forests. Just before dawn I was crossing a small clearing in the middle of nowhere in darkness, boom, instakilled. No light, no sound, sniped in the darkness. Hackers really do ruin the game. Considering getting into vanilla+ modded just to try avoid them as much as possible
Nice run man, shame it ended like that. Only thing I can think of is that you had a white bandana on and didn't look like you were prone. Someone scanning the treeline with a sniper could well of seen you, as unlikely as it is. I guess we'll never know
Love the dayZ content makes for such a great story, just hope you enjoy it even with all the exploiters and progress being lost in a instant, really unfortunate toy died to a exploiter atleast tou can think of it like someone had to cheat to kill you 😂, great video as always my man 🙌
This is a sad ending, the dayz run WILL end sometime eventually after many hours but dying like this is definitely disappointing.

I haven't played official servers in over 2 years (only community like dayone and zero lightly modded).. official servers have become such shyte littered w cheaters, hackers, and weirdos .. I do like your content tho just discovered your channel
If they can push out a smooth playing, easier to control, relatively-bug-free DayZ 2 on a modern engine with AI-enabled hacker detection... it's going to be the greatest adventure game ever.
I swear I quit dayz a long time ago when it was still just an arma 2 mod ... Fucking hacker literally spawned a tank and hunt us down. but the last time I played, it was exactly like the death you've recieved. I was shot when I was inside a tree in the middle of fuck nowhere practically invisible when I see from the third person, just cheking my inventory and died.

I live the survive aspects of the game but way too many devious players with bad intentions. My running mate is one of those guys while. I'm trying to find friendly players. I only die because he starts fights.

Your pvp is on point.....about the car...on official it took me a month to find tires and glowplug for a humvee....when i finally built it i brought it in my base shed....just for it to despawn. I learned the hardway never to keep vehicles in buildings on official:( nice content

Ive been living on an official server for about two weeks now. Finally managed to settle into a nice spot. When i hear close gunshots from the nearby settlement i like to light an obvious fire and offer free rides back to the coast from a nice distance. 😅

I’m currently running solo just got in a gun fight both of us split now I’m just waiting out the dark
can't play official servers brother, just spend hours looting up to tisy, and both get headshotted in the car driving. aussie official is trashed by chinese hackers, this will end up killing the game in the long run, i dont care getting killed by a cheater in cs2, but when i spend hours upon hours building a base and gather loot to be headshotted instantly, its fucking grinds my gears
