Glad I found your video. I just got turned down by my Medicare insurance for not enough data and that it’s experimental. They said I can appeal it. It’s almost like a procedural game they have to play. I really was wanting this iTEND procedure. I may have to pay for it myself even if I have to get a loan. Thanks for this info.

I recommend you discuss other minimally invasive treatments for your prostate, with your urologist, that may be covered by your insurance.

@@uronurse1 I did that. Now we are going for the Aquablation procedure. There is pros and cons for sure but I trust my doc.

Thankyou for the very clear explanation, graphics and excellent questions. Is the procedure OK for early localised prostate cancer?

What keeps the prostate from going back to its original shape ?
And how much does it cost?

I don't have cost for procedures. FYI all prostate continue to grow after any therapy. The pressure from the iTind creates grooves in the prostate which remain when the ddevice is removed. *The expert's opinions in this communication are personal and not representative of any organization. One thing that is unclear-- when referring to "post-op catheter" such as with Rezume, does that mean, "post-op for the rest of your life" or "post-op for some recovery period"? And if the latter, how long is that period likely to be?

    • @senesexpress

The catheter is worn for a few days post procedure. This time varies based on the urologist protocols.
