@11:08 “The sails are the job of the sailor. The sails are the job. That’s what we do out here. Tend to the sails. Tend to the boat.” ~ Jerome Rand. Yes, indeed -- love it, Jerome! And too funny on the prior 'fool's errand' comment! Thanks so much for this and fair winds, Captain!
It's fun to see actual sailing, without all the fake drama. Love the commentary, it helps those of us that want to improve our techniques. I'm a self taught sailor (before the internet) , I had to figure it out via reading books and various magazines before I bought a boat. Still learning.
Holy crap. Your channel popped up for me and it's awesome! I want to see sailing, and boy you've got some great sailing, and a nice story to tell about your journeys. Thank you so much!
Wow, really enjoyed! Keep posting more. I have always been anti furler but with age, years ago switched jib, staysail and code 0 on furlers and never looked back, yes trade offs but can totally change sail plan in a minute by myself. Thanks for posting
Another good video. have you considered using downhauls on fore sails? I used one on my hanked sails. It was led back to my cockpit. then I could go forward and secure the sail. Worked great

That was rad! Thanks for taking us along for the ride! You've got me stoked to splash soon and get back into the groove. Three cheers!
Coming out of Charleston on a beautiful day was always a treat. Thanks for sharing.
Bravo! Really great informative video. Right up there with the gold standard, Boothby’s “How to Sail Oceans” give me more!

I didn’t realize you have hank on sails. I was a little surprised, but I get it.
Fastest speed at a reasonable comfort level.
It’s a good looking boat
