My back door has a screen door and a second door with a deadbolt lock. Both doors are locked at all times, even when we're home. Plus a sensor light right above. And we live in a relatively safe neighborhood.

3rd story...it seems like the boy was nervous becoz she was at his apartment and maybe his roommate was upstairs and he lied about that ......and maybe the text was from his roommates they told him to invite her to home another thing boys rooms are always messy ..he cleaned that for her ...and he was uncomfortable becoz the girl started feeling uncomfortable...
or maybe they were planning to abuse her😑

The restaurant may not have had cctv. But yeah they should’ve been able to catch him on cctv nearby. Sounds like lazy officers or maybe a small town with terrible cameras

It's not just them tho. The last story they'd gone out 5 or 6 times. At that point you'd think it'd be ok regardless of where you met. Imagine meeting someone in person you didn't know before. This same thing could happen. You just have to be careful in general. No matter with who or where you meet them.
