@@Doom-Head it makes a little difference. At the end of the day, it’s only a 600 so top end power and speed is not what this bike is about. Agility and handling, is. It’s a scalpel, not a sledgehammer. Haha
@@Daves_Man_Cave so I was just curious, I understand what you mean at the top end power on the 600….I feel it really starts to struggle past 150mph with vibration and just does not feel as steady, would say something like an R1 feel much more relaxed at higher speeds?
@@Doom-Head High speed needs two things. Aerodynamics, and sheer power. A 600 has aero, but doesn't have the power. The faster you go, the more the air pushes back. It's not linear, its exponential. That's why the Bugatti Veyron SS had to add over 200hp, just to go another 7mph top speed over the base model. The R1 is way faster top end, but honestly, what will you use it for? Doing those speeds on the road regularly, will see you in jail or the morgue. If its for track days, consider what tracks you will be going to. If tight and twisty, the 600 is just as fast. If its a large track like my home track(Road Atlanta), the literbike will leave the 600 behind on every straight. I had my ZX14R out on track and it was slower in the turns, but I made up for it on the straights, so overall I was turning decent lap times... If your bike is new, stick with it for awhile, do some track days and learn to ride. Don't worry about top speed, its largely irrelevant. Remember, straightaways are for fast bikes. Turns, are for fast RIDERS. Anyone can buy a fast bike and twist the throttle on the highway. Give me 15 minutes and I can train a monkey to do that much. Going fast up on a twisty mountain road? That takes actual skill, and you can't buy that... 90% of the guys that talk smack about top speed, end up being the slowest guys at a track day or on a twisty road... lol

@@Doom-Head dump it. So basically my throttle hand stays at about the same throttle and then I pull in clutch just far enough to stop the power going to the wheel hold it for a second and drop it
@@californiapoontappa and maybe 25mph? Or more like 35mph I’m 2nd gear?
@@Doom-Head so depends on bike iv unfortunately never gotten the chance to try a 636 yet I'm on a speed triple 1200 with lots of torque... I'd imagine anywhere between there should be good. I do second gear around 35 45 and first fear 25-35. Just play with it. At first just bring the clutch in real fast and drop it. Get used to wheel coming up
So I got the 22 version on April first day I took off on it I had the traction control on 3 and I pulled the clutch in while riding like you did around the 14 minute mark n the bike turned off. When it’s on traction control 1 it won’t do it
Oh wow! Yes I have had it on one the whole time I have been riding and haven’t had any
Issues 🧐
ECU flash, and exhaust. It's a completely different machine!
Hell yes dude. I'm glad you like it. Looks fucking badass lol stoked to see more content. It'd be cool to see a video on that cbr650r and how you think it compares to the 400. Either way ride safe and keep posting!
Thanks Cody! I absolutely love it, and yes that’s a good idea 👍
Oct 26 😳🙄😁🏆
Also, you're short shifting with alot of revs left in each gear. You may already be aware but it will really sound right when you hit 16K rpms.
Duuuude I know 😂 I watched the footage and was like dam…..could’ve rode out that gear further haha ✌️😁
its crazy to think i bought my krt edition the sametime and we both ride bmx also, keep up the videos man love the content just stay safe out there.
That's awesome!
I saw you on CTG's Live Chat, Nice Bike!
What’s up dude! Yeah crash test is the man haha 🤘😄
Waiting for end of year and I want to replace my bike with zx6 , you like the new gearing?
Nice dude! And yes, the new gearing is dope 😁
"Holy shit" lmfao 🤣 I felt that
Haha ✌️😂😎
Hows the riding comfortably compared to the 400?
It is not comfortable compared to the 400, the ZX6 is built for maximum performance not comfort 😎👍
Would this be overkill as a first bike ?
Yes…imo 😎👍
Thank for this video !! 😊
I’m looking to upgrade to ZX6R from my ninja 400 ! 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thank you great vid
No problem! And your gunna luv it!! ✌️😎
@@Doom-Head I loveeeee it !!!!! 💚💚💚💚
@@stephanie.nurse.runner9337 yes! 😃 🫶
Is it the KRT edition? I have seen one in white. Someone got it before me.
No that is the green and white 😎✌️
I get to ride with my son and love it. I am curious as to why you chose the 636 over The OG 750? The best street bike/ race bike ever built was is The GSX-R 750 Zuk Nation! Stay safe out there fella’z!
Awesome! We absolutely love motorcycles now haha and I guess you could say I bought this bike just because I thought it looked so menacing ✌️😁
Definitely the 600 to buy, great value. Wait till you flash it and put exhaust on it. Killer!
That is definitely next on the list haha ✌️😎
Also, get the ECU flashed. That bike is good for low 150's top end. It's a great bike, you need to get it out on track.
Absolutely! I heard the flash makes a huge difference ✌️😎
90% of the guys that talk smack about top speed, end up being the slowest guys at a track day or on a twisty road... lol
@@Daves_Man_Cave this is awesome haha 🤘😁🤘thanks for explaining that, and the reason for that question is I have been watching Crash Test Goat and I’m kind of in disbelief of this man’s abilities 😂😂😂
Mine arrives in a few days I , in the same color. cannot wait 💯
Congrats bro! You gonna luv it 😁🤘
@@Doom-Head yes !! Looking forward to having some fun at the tail end of the season , I will enjoy every second 🙏🏼
ZX-6R is my 2nd dream bike
It’s an amazing machine for sure! ✌️😎
You can also put it up on a stand and do the break in period.
lol 🤣like ferris bueller with the Ferrari going in reverse to take off the miles huh lol
Oh wow can you really do that? That would be amazing
@@Doom-Head you can but you need a fan to cool it down
I remember when I first road my 636 from a 250. Man yea it’s fast af. So much fun.
Dude ikr 😂 I luv it ✌️😎
i got a ninja 400, hopefully i can upgrade to this next year
That’s what I started on 😎👍
@@Doom-Head is there a huge difference?
Kawasaki ZX supersports have always been great looking motorcycles. Surprisingly I haven’t owned one before.
You should get one 😎
@@Doom-Head lol I’ve started looking earlier this week
Congrats on the bike
Thank ya! ✌️🙂
I totaled my bike out two weeks ago in a in turn after hitting gravel and was lookin at this bike and it’s a grand a month for me and was wondering if it’s the same for u or is it just cause of my age
I'm hoping to get the 2024 ZX-6R. Hoping it will have the updated tft display with an auto blipper. Nice video
I can’t wait to see what the 24 looks like 🤘😎
Very informative video…Awesome Bike, Dude!!
Thx bro! I absolutely love it haha 😂
hey man CONGRATS on your 636! its official the bald-eagle WAS looking at the bikes circling you guys😁(remember they are known for their vision,so he had to see/hear the bikes) you did all the right things, and esp the freakin 'break-in-phase" always a pain in the ass,but well said and agreed when you spend this level of cash, treat it right and only thank goodness, a 1-time-phase...i've been watching the kawi-green-636 but after seeing this it's not an easy choice for "ME".on the other hand i feel there's still hope for your dad left because i dont think from watching your review that he wanted to get back on the Honda and keep riding yours, but he can always in his case, trade TWO bikes-in for a green 636 since the cruiser is green;in the grand scheme of things and in the end tho, i did wonder if he felt bad again that he bought the Honda too, esp after riding your ninja, which means that he was sorry he bought two bikes...but like i said,a plan would be trade them BOTH in for another 636👍loved the review*
Haha thank you very much! Yes I love the the KRT green 636 a lot…but red and black is definitely more my style ✌️😎
@@Doom-Head well thats the hard part for me as well, since red/black are my fav colors too,but the KRT screams Ninja and i love the scheme on it,same w the black-n-red so its a toss up for sure!
So cool the bald eagle payed you a visit
Ikr! Haha flew right over us!
What a masterpiece of bike, and video.
Thank you
Thank you!
How are you Shifting with out pulling in the clutch? Is it an automatic mode? Or you just click up without pulling the clutch in? Sorry if that’s a dumb question but I’m new to bike life. Cheers 🍻 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Yes sir, the built in quick shifter allows you to only use the clutch pedal without the need to pull the clutch lever ✌️😎
I was thinking about getting the Kawasaki Ninja 650 but see the thing is its got that All digital opto speedometer which the clearly the Kawasaki ZX-6R doesn't have. But its in the 136 mph speed range i was looking to go at least 160 mph, thats why I'm thinking on getting the kawaii ZX-6R. 🙏🏽
I don’t think you would regret the ZX6 🤘😎
@@Doom-Head oh yeah I currently own a dongfang rts 250cc motorcycle 🏍 goes 75mph its cool and all but it sucks because the Chinese make shiy motorcycles. Its already falling apart, kick stand broke up with a 2 foot long frame pipe bad welding job. 🤦🏾♂️Japanese people make awesome things anyways. 🙏🏽
I just bought my first bike, the 2023 ninja 400, what are the main differences between the ninja 650 and the ninja zx-6r?
650 is a parallel twin while the zx is an inline 4 which makes it more aggressive and powerful than the 650.
@@alexesquivel8566 yeah I saw on the website, I was just wondering about other differences, I4 is better then PT, even though it says the displacement is less?
@@harryclark3388 if u are looking for speed then yes i4 is way better than pt
@@alexesquivel8566 appreciate it, thank you
Great video. Just got a Kawasaki z 400 2022 and love it but I'll get the Kawasaki 650 in the future! A z Kawasaki of course!
I absolutely love the z400, if I could go back I would have gotten that over my ninja 400….nice choice 👍
I’m Stuck Between A Vulcan S650 Or A Ninja 650 For My Very First Back. Any Recommendations?
The Vulcan is definitely stylin, I really enjoyed cruising around on mine….but I feel I have more control on sport bikes 🤗
@@Doom-Head Thanks Man!🧡
My fz09 Took from the dealership and ripped it. First oil change and creating some load on decel is all you need. Let her eat!
😎🤘
Now get dad a cbr 600 so he can keep up
Haha he’s actually thinking of buying my bike when I pick up the ZX-10R
how did you get that black and red variant
Cool video..congrats on the bike.stay safe ✌️✌️
I will try haha ✌️😁
where did you get this bike from? i’ve been trying to get this exact bike, a kawasaki zx6r 2023 in black and red just like yours, but all of them have been different colors or years.
and how did you get the red and black edition?
Just curious.. I haven't ridden in a while... would you recommend starting on the 400?
Definitely!!! That’s what I did an the 400 is a ton of fun, super fast too 😎😎
@@Doom-Head Thanks ... love seeing you ride with your dad :)
I found the 636 to cause a lot of pain in my elbows. I had to sell the one I had back to the dealer. Otherwise it will give you everything you want.
It definitely makes my arms fall asleep at night 😂✌️😎
@@Doom-Head I loved it but my body could not tolerate it.
Will definitely be my first bike (I have lots of training on clutch and gears on my kx85)
I love this bike so much 🤘😎 insane power for a 6
No need for clutch UPS first and second gear power wheelies easily I have a 2003 blue with silver graphics I purchased it from the original owner that was elderly man about 8 months ago with 17,000 miles on the odometer and looks and runs like it just rode off the showroom floor I love the zx6r bikes
Yes! The ZX6 is an amazing machine 🤘😎
Tidy bike. Did the same, upgraded from the ninja 400 to the Zx6r krt a month ago. Love the quick shifter 😎
Duuuude ikr! The KQS is soooo dope

I’m 5’6” Is this bike too tall for me?
Im not for sure it has a 32” seat height, I’m 6’1 and can flat foot it pretty easy. You might give it a shot you might just be on the toes of
Your boot which would be fine ✌️😎
Unfortunately,Kawasaki discontinued the zx6r in India as it didn’t comply with the new bs6 emission norms of India.Does anybody have any news regarding relaunch of zx6r in India? Dying to get one.My dream bike.
By d way, superb to watch father & son riding together….
