In the JADAM natural pesticides/germicides books, they mention these plants that are used for great results in a liquid to be sprayed on plants (using a wetting agent, too): Gingko, Jerusalem Artichoke, and Oleander. They also mention the importance of soft water (like rainwater) with other ingredients creates a wetting agent that when mixed with the natural pesticide/germicide based on those 3 plants, when sprayed on leaves will stick to leaves without leaving water spots (like what happens with hard water). The same wetting agent in JADAM is used with natural fertilizer liquids as well as pesticide/germicide liquids - anything that needs to stay on the leaves as long as possible. The latter liquid's most common one is based on organic liquid sulfur - which handles anything, including powdery mildew.

So much to learn in this arena. While important, we are really focused on soil fertility and biodiverse companion planting. It takes some discipline to check and apply preventative preparations e.g. repellent s but we have a couple in our arsenal and will share these soon. Thanks for your tips!

Can you elaborate how the 50-Liter Bokashi will be enough to fertilize about 25 hectares of land? If it is 2 Liter per hectare, do you use the solids dug into the soil or the leachate diluted spray?? Is there any other additional "first step" other than the Bokashi to rehabilitate the land?

The bokashi leachate can be diluted 1:40. That means 0.5 ltr for a 20 litre spray backpack. You can spray a hectare of crop with between 4-8 backpacks.

@@Kaiwaipermaculturebolivia How often can I spray on the field for the purpose of rehabilitating the soil? Will everyday be ok or maybe only once a week?? Thanks for the immediate response.

You mentioned using rabbit urine as a pest aside. Perhaps you could make a video on that process. Thanks.

We are super excited about this project and actually started building for it but had to take a pause because of funds. We believe it will continue in the near future tho!
