- So the first 12 episodes of Pokemon Journeys are out on Netflix and episode 25 is right around the corner for sub watchers. It's been a pretty exciting adventure so far, but you know what would make it even better? Serena. At least I think so. Today, we're going to be diving into a what it would be like if Serena made her way into the Pokemon Journeys anime and what kind of interactions would ensue.

This is what I said when I read "What if Serena was in journey's" Me:😭
Honestly, I was surprised when she didn’t show up when Ash and Goh went to Hoenn since THAT’S where she went after the events of the Kalos arc.
Bro during that course of time ash completed his journey in alola and so serena may also travelled into another region.... Maybe Sinnoh as they also organises Pokemon contests.... Although they are different from Pokemon showcases but still....
So possibly serena might be in Sinnoh or Galar even though she can be back in kalos....
But that's for sure she will return....
Maybe for few episodes but I want her to be with ash till the end of this series which will possibly be after season 25 which mark the end of ash journey...

Probably because she wasn't there since Ash went on another journey after XYZ so It's normal to her to go to another region without letting the fans know.

I remember first finding your channel because of the "What if Serena went to Alola" video, I watched all of Sun and Moon waiting for her return...
we all know how that went.

My version: On a visit to Cerulean City, allowing Misty to be in the Episode, and thus conflict!! Serena meets Ash in Cerulean and they visit the Gym. Ash and Misty get to talking about old times and Serena gets jealous and challenges Misty to a battle for Ash’s affection. Ash and Misty blush at the insinuation, increasing Serena’s ire. Misty and Serena battles while Goh is talking to Ash about what’s going on. Clueless Ash doesn’t entirely understand, but after the battle is over, understands enough and tells Serena that while Misty was the first one to join him on his journey, that doesn’t mean Serena’s journey with him meant any less. Misty adds in that Ash kept getting them lost and that they argued most of the time as well, getting a chuckle out of Ash, embarrassed at his past self being so immature. Misty and Serena become friends and Misty mentions May from Hoenn, sparking recognition in Serena, who had met May and her family in Petalburg while she was in between Contest Runs. This gets them to talking about memories and Goh gets super excited to learn more about the Pokémon Ash has met in the past, sparking an idea to go investigate the rumor of Suicune appearing on Cerulean Cape. They investigate and like with Ho-Oh in Ecruteak, only Serena gets a quick glimpse, but everyone is excited anyways. Goh gets two new water Pokémon and Serena gets one as well. Misty wishes them well and cheers Ash on for the World Tournament! As their leaving, a trainer for the Region walks up to the Gym, asking for a Battle. A pepped up Misty grins as she accepts and they head inside for their battle.

Unity 47669, I’m pretty sure that each gen after generation 1 he gets a year older. Like in Johto he’s 11, he’s 12 in Hoenn, and on and on and on. Meaning that Ash is 16 in Kalos. So instead of a never age boy, it’s a 16 year old oblivious boy.

This series of the amine is sooo good, I love how they didn’t make ash only be in one region so now it’s very unpredictable and gives the writers more freedom when writing
25 episodes in and ash still hasn't done his gym challenge for galar
The con with this is even if there are region hopping, they have a restrictive way of making episodes, like they can't show the region well after showing the main plot of episodes.
They should've done a new protagonist with each region.
This honestly sounds like it could have been plausible if the writers wanted to go down this route. Great job, would love to see a part 2.

I’ll say this, if she was in Journeys, every scene will be as followed:
Scene 1 - Serena blushes at Ash
Scene 2 - Serena blushes at Goh acting’s happy with Ash
Scene 3 - Somebody teasers her with Ash and she blushes
This was an amazing video and I can’t wait for the sequel (if there is one).
