    This off season may or may not end in a parade. But can we agree this is the first time in ages where they are truly addressing things and going for it? What they don't always understand is that many of us aren't expecting a WS every season. We are just tired of failing in the same way (a feast or famine, one-dimensional, right-hand dominated lineup). Great start to the off season.

Rodon I didn't want either but let's see if he does better this year and can stay healthy. I didn't want Verdugo but once we got Soto I felt better about having him and he is a huge upgrade from what we had in Oswaldo and Bauers and Billy McKinney and Franchy Cordero. There is chance this doesnt work. Soto isn't a natural pull hitter. Over half of his hrs were to center and left. So the only way for Yankee stadium to mean something is for him to change his approach which almost never works. They could of given up less and traded for Cedric Mullins( improved defense too), Schwarber or Lowe from TB. All 3 would've fit better in Yankee stadium and been cheaper to get. Plus he refuses to sign extensions during the season and theres a possibility Boston( better field for him because he hits alot to left) , the Mets ( blank check to give in 25) or the Angels( just a guess ) get him.

    With Judge healthy the Yanks were 10 games over .500 If Judge and Soto stay healthy, the yankees will be much much better than last year. Now even if Judge gets hurt again. Soto will be there to pick up the slack.

    Give Soto 3 weeks being around this organization and he'll be a 190 hitting Judge will blow out a knee and miss 75 games and they'll finish 5th.

    The Yankees should sign Alonso next year too

    • @Melbester9
      @Melbester9 9 месяцев назад

      Why? He's not leaving the Mets anytime soon. Even Mike Piazza was telling the SNY media about him staying with the team as a face of the franchise.
      Yankees already have Rizzo and after his contract is up, they have alternatives to get other players for 1B. They don't need Alonzo. He's fine with the Mets.
