- Fix It Felix Jr. was the game featured in the film Wreck It Ralph. This fan made game faithfully recreates the arcade game that was seen in the movie. Play as Felix and fix the broken windows as Ralph tries to wreck the building! Based on the arcade games of yesteryear, Fix It Felix Jr. is simple, addictive fun.

When you analyze the size of Ralph compared to the windows, you get a terrifying sight into how large this guy is, further shown in the movie "wreck it Ralph" where he seems larger than anyone else he encounters

This is the most accurate cinematic depiction of an early 80's arcade game in movie history (though the intro is a bit too long-the bean counters didn't want the games to last any longer than they had to)

I like how despite the fact that the characters are heavily influenced by Jumpman and Donkey Kong from the 1981 arcade classic, the fictional arcade game they are set in is different enough to be it's own stand alone game! Also, this game needs a release on platforms like the Switch for 5 dollars, as I don't want to spend a lot of money on a repro cart for an old console just for a game that plays like an early 80s arcade title!
And they were created after Popeye and Brutus

Looks like the original idea was make a donkey Kong movie (both characters looks too much like the original arcade game), but nintendo refuses the idea. Just like the lion King incident, Take the concept and rebuild as an original movie
It's funny how even in the game's narrative, the character of Ralph is misunderstood.

Ralph isn't the bad guy. He's the guy who gets pushed off of his land forcefully, there's a case of this in real life where someone tried to fight back legally but failed. There's also a case where someone had to fight a company that built somewhere that killed their business and when legal route didn't workout they took action themselves. I know we're not supposed to be nonviolent when dealing with stuff but when you have nothing left.... might as well start up the engine of tractor you bought for making the road

Much less than you think. The Z80 (Assuming it used a Z80 based driver) can use up to only 8k, or 64kb, of cart space per sample. You can even split the DAC to increase the amount of memory to play a sample from and potentially unlock more sample channels. (As seen in the Impossible Toy Story Genesis music video) How Sonic 2 supposedly took up 128k of cart space for the chant, I have no idea, but I hope it was actually compressed. Virtual Bart, a Genesis game that's a port of the SNES game, has LOTS of voice samples that are actually higher quality than the SNES game. It's a great example of what the DAC/PCM samples can do. You should check it out.

Ever heard of sampling? The genesis was capable of that.
The SEGA Genesis is caplable of running PCM samples through its sound chip. The Ralph and Felix voices are both samples running through the engine. The sound quality of the voices is slightly bitcrushed. An example of this in an official SEGA Genesis game is the "Go"s in Sonic 3's Launch Base Zone music.

Simple, you can use the 6th channel of the YM2612 as an ad-hoc PCM channel. You do however have to run either the Z80 or preferably the M68000 as the decoder for the sample.
(I'd like to speak about the idea of Fix-It Felix in general here.)
Fix-It Felix looks like a fake video game from a tv show.
I don't mean a game based off a TV show I mean a cheap game idea used in a TV show because the writers only have a bare bones idea on how video games work.
Very limited movement, bright colors, big structures, highscore numbers, 8 bit midi music, topped off with parodying classic well known games like Donkey Kong.
To put it simply:
