I loved the writing in this, for the Doctor to be humble and ground himself in being honest about the fact he like any other person is flawed.

Lucie was such a brilliant companion.
I remember I found her annoying at first, but she really started to grow on me. She was so rough but so heartfelt too.
Which just made what happened to her all the more heart-breaking...

I adore this moment. It's so heartbreaking, but so brilliant. It was the moment everything changed in a big way in the Eighth Doctor Adventures.

When I knew Lucie returned in the second half of series 4 I thought it would undo her ending here but after this whole episode I love her even more.

Too bad Chibnall went and axed Xmas because he can't come up with a good idea.
Good idea: Ask another writer to pen a script if you can't come up with something.

Exactly, though I think there's a lot of drama going on behind the scenes that we don't know about given it's rumoured Chib's and Jodie will be leaving soon.

McGann and Smith are incredible together, aren't they? I really wish we could have at least one special TV episode with them together.

I would love to see Lucie Miller and Donna Noble meet, the sass would blow overload the meter.

@@JZBelexes God help Eight if Lucie met Donna while they were traveling together!
I’d personally love to see Donna Noble interact with Eight (maybe in an alternate timeline or universe)…it’d be really interesting to see…plus I bet that Donna would be attracted to Eight…
Best alternative that I’ve encountered to seeing them interacting in a DW tv show/audiobook is some fanfics from TKelParis where she took the series 4 premise and had Eight be the one to meet and save Donna (post him losing Lucie and Alex)…
and because of Eight going to Karn prior to Night of the Doctor the timeline has changed and the high priestess of Karn was able to warn the Doctor about events that would kick off the Time War and he was able to prevent the Time War from occurring…but the original timeline is still being felt in echos across the universe…and The Moment is not happy about the changes to the timeline…
The fanfic series does ship Doctor/Donna but I really like how they interact with each other…
Donna’s his first companion after he’s traveled alone for 50years or so while he was still in mourning for those he most recently lost…
Donna also helps him with identifying and processing some of his emotions since the Time Lords are still too repressed to understand and deal with most of their emotions…
In turn, Eight sees her worth more quickly and treats Donna much better than Ten/Eleven did in the original timeline…

And to think had the two Zygons in The Zygon Who Fell To Earth weren't hellbent on wanting Haigoth back, Pat would still be alive
