How can the stock gearbox withstand the immense torque?? My friend had a stock 991 Turbo S which broke the gearbox once he put slicks on it and tracked it, here we are talking 3 times the power???!

The weather is just not good enough for the higher power yet. Once it gets warmer it will hook fine at higher boost
My standard Turbo S spins in this weather (Mich PS4S tyres)
So even with awd still get wheel spin?
When you use softer tyres, but you also need to improve the gearbox.
And tought my old 996 was fast. But i am only 19😅 sow who knows what the future brings

Forgive me if this is a stupid question as I know f all about cars. But does anyone run these porsches on drag tyres? obviously not on the road. I know they already have huge grip but I've never seen anyone putting drag tyres on and wondered why.
They do. check 1320's TX2K videos (the latest ones) on the day 5 coverage, from 24 mins onwards. you can see a few porsches with drag radials.
