@@anaisw124Im 56 People think that I'm 25, just long hair and super skinny and you look like you're 20 but taking care of your face and you've already made her be Karina or cinnamon skin, nothing magical... but this woman You can tell because he doesn't move his mouth naturally, he stands still like Kim Kardashian cries and his mouth doesn't move naturally, that's perfectly noticeable.
She has a baby face and works out. That's it, there is no magic secret. Someone in their 40s is not old at all. And raising kids and being a mom is a pretty stressful role
She has had cosmetic surgery as well, and majority of the photos AND videos have filters on them. Also, it's pretty reasonable for women to not age a TON up until they hit menopause, and that's when the hormonal changes start to really hit.
@@hiddenmutant what surgery did she have? 😂 She looks the same at 48. Anyway, we have neighbors in their late 50s and the mom looks young and amazing. She is long past menopause. Not everyone can manage this and it is not common. Your comment felt more bitter than anything
@@never_give_up90I don't know why it's bitter to point out that people should, bare minimum, acknowledge the filters at play here. As others have mentioned, she also has an obvious facelift scar near her ears (probably a lower facelift for loose skin around the neck and jawline), as well as very clear breast implants. If you can find older photos of her (there's a few out there online from more than 10 years ago), she used to have a very stereotypical SEA nose as well, more soft and wide, so she had a nose job done. Even in the family photo in the video, as well as compared to her own daughter, you can see that the shape is very narrow and sharp. Some people think she had blepharoplasty, but I know Filipinas with her eye shape naturally, so that I don't necessarily agree with. I'm on the fence about Botox as well, since it's actually a fairly common trait for Asians to not have a ton of eyebrow movement (couldn't tell you why specifically, but my husband is Korean and he can barely lift his a cm. Might be related to the extra fat pad under the skin). I don't think she's had tons of filler either, if any, because Asians do have extra fat under their skin as well as denser collagen matrixes which keep them "plump" looking for longer. At most she might have a tiny bit in her lips, because there seems to be a little migration past the vermillion border. She also shares her laser resurfacing treatment experience on her own channel, so that's confirmed even by her. I didn't say she's not very beautiful, obviously she is. You can tell by the overall structure of her face that she did have a lot of natural beauty to start with, and she works very hard to have the lifestyle that supports her looks. And it's her life and her appearance to do whatever she wants anyways, and she seems quite happy overall. But to say specifically she is 100% natural is disingenuous. It's not a bad thing to have "enhancements" either, but you should be honest. Look at any "Instagram vs Reality" site for how pervasive it is to be deceptive about your looks online. I guess I also should have been more clear why I bothered to mention menopause, it's not because women automatically look bad after menopause, but that we should reframe how we think about healthy pre-menopausal women. Most health-conscious women don't suddenly become grey and wrinkly after 30-35 like people sometimes seem to think (since the internet is dominantly younger people afraid of age). And even menopause is not some nail in the coffin, but it is usually when women start seeing actual major changes compared to their 30's to 40's to early 50's (sometimes late 50's, my mom didn't fully stop having periods until a year or so ago at 56). Like my 39 year old aunt who's a mom of three barely looks older than people I know in their 20's. So expecting a healthy woman in her 40's to look "super old," and then be shocked when she looks quite youthful, is silly, even if she didn't have any extra work done.
@@hiddenmutant Yeah, cause totally not bitter, that's why you are writing a book. You are full of 💩 and you know it. She didn't have any surgery unless it's extremely recent. Your observations are just as much of 🐂 💩 as everyone else you say. Haters will always look for excuses.
Fish definitely helps our skin, I had a classmate that was 47 and looked in her thirties with no skin care nor workout, I think it’s sleep, water, food and most importantly clean heart AKA peaceful heart. Also we should be grateful for growing another year and staying alive in a good health. Society has to stop shaming how old or ask how old are we. ❤
hell yeah! You look exceptional for 46 too. Who wants to be 20 again? Been there done that amirite. I feel like youth obsessed people are the ones who still like attention from men or women.
I started drinking organic green tea and matcha in my 20s. I’ve avoided red meat and eat fish 🐠 and eggs 🥚. I never smoked and RARELY drink alcohol. I’ve also exercised and began doing crunches again after 6 weeks of giving birth to my son. Yoga is a daily part of my routine. I’ve never stopped. I’m 48 now and all of these practices WORK. 😅❤ Edit: I don’t use retinol but I do a vitamin C citrus 🍊 peel once per week which assists in cell turnover and lightened aged spots. PS: They forgot to mention sugar. I’ve avoided sugar like the plague in my youth because I was afraid of breakouts. This woman definitely avoids sugars and fast food etc. For those trying to say it’s her genes 🧬, nope. There are plenty of overweight aging Filipinos out there with inflammation. 😉
You know what, you motivate me to do the same. When I was younger I really liked red meat but as I aged i barely eat it. So on that part this is gonna be easy. But the hardest part is cutting sugar. I'm not really a candy eater but I feel like there's sugar anywhere.
That is so true. I have a distant cousin who smokes a lot and drinks a lot but she has the most amazing skin, so flawless and glowing, no wrinkles yet at age 35, she looks like in her early 20s. Oh and she loves soda and coffee too, and drinks less water. So i don't understand why she still got beautiful skin and looks so young. Me on the other hand lives a healthy lifestyle like no alcohol and not smoking, drinks plenty of water, avoids soda and coffee and junkfood etc but still i think i look terrible and old. It' s all about genetics i guess
Why are we brainwashed to believe that 40 is old? I am 60, still energetic, youthful and in good health and decent shape. Age is in your head, it's an attitude, not a death sentence
I'm 64 and find all this forever young to be total crap. Once these people hit their fifties and sixties, they are going to find out just aging actually works. Genetics play a far larger role than denying yourself some pleasures in life. You are going to age. Enjoy who you have become.
40's are no big deal. The 55 plus is what will matter. It amazes me of what happens after 55. Keep up the videos and I will check back in 10 plus years.
Did you see the most recent pic of Leah Thompson? There's a youtube vid of her and Michael J Fox for yet another BTTF reunion. She inspires me. I'm 50. NEVER stop taking care of yourself.
you're not wrong. My mother says once you hit your 50s, every year will make your body diff. A year in your 50s is like 5 years. Your body changes a lot year to year. Then she says in your 60s all you pray for is are you injured or not. You pray to be mobile enough to travel.
She has very good lifestyle and self-discipline when it comes to food, workouts and self-care but also she has facial enhancements such as botox, fillers, etc. You can tell because no matter what facial expressions she does her face doesn’t move particularly her forehead and cheeks. 😊
She looks great no matter what her age is. I see 20 year olds out of shape. It's not only genetics. Its life style choices as well. People just want to say it's genes because then they can say ' no to excercise and clean eating ' lol
It's not justt genetics for young people being out of shape, but it IS genetics for a 46 year old looking more than 20 years younger, and this is what this video is about.
Everyone always says genetics and that could be true . But it really is up to your lifestyle at the end of the day. I’ve seen some women who look 30 while they’re 60… none of their family members look young except them . Genetics is when you don’t take care of yourself , don’t stay healthy etc etc and still look young and still never get sick.
True while my grandma looks so young and ger skin is so smooth and everyone asks her skincare she has none!!! Whereas my mom looks older than her age it's her stressful life. My mom has lot of stress one of the main reason is her marriage life. While my grandma is so chill and she is diabetic she didn't care about diet or such her principles is to have a fun life. My mom since I was a kid used to very restricted about our families diet.
I’m 52 and I’ve never smoked in my life. I think I’ve only had a handful of drinks throughout my life. It’s a choice to be healthy and age like wines. My exercise is walking at least 10k steps per day and Pilates 3 times a week. I also rock climb once a week. I’ve cut sugar a year ago and I feel even better than before. I’ve used tretinoin (vitamin A) since I was in my late 40s and to date, no wrinkles as well. My beauty routine is always double cleanse at night, copper peptide, tretinoin and moisturizer. Daytime is Vit C, moisturizer and SPF (always!). Oh and I’ve been drinking bone broth since I was a child. I’ve never been one who likes fast food so lucky me. It’s always lots of vege, fish and eggs. And, matcha daily 😉 My goal is not to look younger than my age (but it’s a bonus). My aim is to grow old healthy and not need any assistance nor hospitals 😉
I am 46, drink wine and look 15 years younger! Sometimes is just genetics, my dad looked younger his age, my dads mother barely had any wrinkles at 70. I do sleep 8/9 hours a day because my soul needs to regenerate, and I do exercise which is very important for the flow of energy and good function of cells. I also use frequency medicine, sound therapy to correct any imbalances in my body. Is just not about looking younger, is about feeling good and loving yourself. When your inner world is peace and joy, your eyes and your expression will reflect that. This is why sometimes someone compliments us or maybe they ask if we have done something to ourselves, we simply radiate light and that is the secret to beauty.
But are you obsessed with wine? My family’s Italian… My great-granddad used to get to the point of getting drunk of it, but as Christians from my grandma to me we change it to pure grape juice (here in Brazil Southeast/ South it is very common to sell real, pure and fresh grape juice, instead of those industrialized ones)… It’s a great choice we made, but let me tell you my great-grandfather looked something about 20 years younger than the average men at his age at that time! Maybe it’s genetics! Ps: when I say genetics I mean one’s specific family (not race or ethnicity either)! My family is of Northern Italian background… Many of us are extremely pale (including me, even though I’m biracial of native American), but most of my family members don’t appear their age (my White mom had severe, believe when I say severe, health problems, had a intense career in the health care system, was sleep deprived, raised many children and still looks about 10 years younger than some at her age)!
I was born in Spain and I like good wine and good food. I am not obsessed with it, I simply enjoy it with a nice meal such as pasta or pizza. I guess is part of the culture. Raw wine is better and I buy almost everything organic. Until 3 years ago, everytime I was buying wine in the supermarket, I was asked for an id. In the UK where I live you have to be over 25 to buy wine, so being 43 they thought I was not even 25!! I've always had an angelic face, and if I hadn't put weight on I would probably look 20 years younger now. That's another thing, people that are overweight look a bit older in most cases@@Tttt28882
@@vector3d654 I call it frequency medicine or quantum medicine because I use sound frequencies to heal and balance my body. There are therapies available everywhere in the planet, you can check bioresonance and biofeedback for more info. They can scan your body to find where you have imbalances. This is how I found I had low digestive enzymes and that was the reason of my digestive problems. I discovered this thanks to a dream, and I very happy I did. I own a rife machine, this machine comes with a software that has many programs for different health issues. It comes with ten pads that you put on your body to send frequencies, also comes with cold laser. You also have the option to send frequencies remotely, this is what einstein called spooky action at a distance. I have used it for many things including hormonal balance, lympathic system, canker sore, dry eyes and many more with positive results. The one I have is from spookyrife, there are more in the market but this one I believe is the cheapest and it works for me. There is also a forum which is great.
I’m 45. I credit my youthfulness to my Nigerian genetics and having oily skin. I also do not drink or smoke. I drink a gallon of water a day (that’s what my body needs, not saying you need to do that too. Drink to thirst.) I have never had any work done. My mom is 66 and doesn’t have one wrinkle.
I'm 60. Every one says I look 40, what's the secret? I reply, a few years ago I came across this book titled* How to take 10 years off your looks*. I bought two😂
My face is super oily and I use to hate it. But now I love it!! I can wash my face and not apply any moisturrizer at night and go to sleep and wake up with oily dewy skin. No one can guess my age😊
Once I broke my glasses, and before I got a new pair, I just lived without wearing any. It was then that I met a woman who I first thought was 18. I was immensely surprised to find out she was 40. I then spent quite a lot of time thinking what made her look that young. In fact, it was not perfect skin (she did have some wrinkles). It was how she moved and talked and laughed, her whole lifestyle - like that of a very young person! And that's what I see in Joleen. She's amazing! 😍
This is genetics, plus surgical intervention, plus a good diet and self care. She’s obviously worked hard, but let’s not deny the other two components as well.
I am also thinking so: we never see her frown and she looks like she had some fillers done, which is fine until it is said to be naturally possible and this tale goes having other woman feel guilty because they did not enough to stay young 😅
I've eaten healthily and exercised since I was in my teens - I don't eat red meat. I looked in my twenties when I was 36. I started to use Tretinon in my late-30s and Botox in my forehead and around my eyes. - I think that's important, and I can still move my brows and smile genuinely (get a pro). Today, I'm 60 and people are always surprised by my age. It's important to start young, use sunscreen, and stay consistent. I also keep my hair long and colored, wear minimal makeup, and don't overpluck my eyebrows. I also try to look current. Try to be grateful for what you have. Have varied interests. Make good friends. And get a dog, too - she's my lifesaver!
I would have a question to you, since you seem expert on the issue. How do you use Tretinoin cream? Do you use it on all the face (including areas around eyes) and neck area? The cream description says we need to use it on the areas affected by acne, but I would like to use it as anti-age😅and need to apply on all face, including areas around eyes, can I do that?
@@lana1831seriously almost everyone I've seen online that has amazingly beautiful skin use tret. There are a few exceptions but this is the main thing I've seen. 😊
@@lana1831use it on your face & neck, avoid around the eye area as it's really irritating. I'd recommend watching Dr Dray's videos on tretinoin, she's a board certified dermatologist
I've only ever used .025 strength (I only had minimal flaking around the nostrils at the beginning), and I've stayed with that. Yes, I do use it on my eyelids (it's supposed to be safe). I, also, include my neck and back of my hands. I'm not here to gloat but I get compliments on the quality of my skin all of the time, and I live in an active 55+ plus community. If I can help anyone feel better about themselves, I'm so glad. We're in this together.@@lana1831
@@lana1831I have the same question and could not find it anywhere in the comments…It was prescribed by a dermatologist when I had a very stubborn ingrown pimple and the dermatologist told me to just use it on the pimple and only at night because it makes the skin sensitive. I’m so confused now lol
Dont be fooled people...its also very important to have good Genes....plus she has Asian or Hawaien roots..that is very helpfull in having allready a very good skin
I had a 50 - something female patient who if I had to judge by her face alone, looked like she was in her late 20’s. Smooth, glowing, taut, pore less, wrinkle-free skin. She told me she’s been applying an Inexpensive drug store moisturizer on her face since she was 12. Sadly , I guess she didn’t apply it anywhere else coz her age shows on her neck and everywhere else. So, yes, having a consistent skin care routine specially is started at an early age does help.
It's true. Avoiding alcohol dramatically helps slow down the signs of aging. Alot of my batchmates look older than myself, specially most guys since they are alcohol heavy hitters.
@@galaxycat7960she’s Filipina which is Asian mixed with Spanish. Most East Asians don’t but some do. That’s like saying all black people have wide ass noses lol Asians are very diverse and come in all shapes a sizes.
I am also a 46 Yr old woman. I can vouch for this.....I also am frequently mistaken for being in my mid to late 20's. I'm white Scottish with celtic genes. I've never smoked. Never tried any drugs. Don't drink alcohol unless at a wedding or other grand occasion. I'm very active, my job is active and I have a dog. I don't do workout routines. I mostly walk for fitness. I wear very little make up and use very simple cleanser at night. I moisturise with nivea basic moisturiser (the white tub). I keep everything natural and have not had any cosmetic procedures done. Strangely my hair also hasnt yet gone grey. My top 3 reasons for this anti aging phenomenon are 1- don't smoke 2- don't drink alcohol 3- stay out of the sun Be happy peeps ❤
Mid to late 20s? On pictures or by people you meet in real life? On pics people think I am late 20s but in real life I look well in my 30s (I am 42). The skin starts to look crepey on the body, there is not battling that, it may be subbtle but it gives away the age!
I know a woman who is 53. She looks and sounds like she is in her early 20's. She's white but has some Finnish ancestry. She has an amazing skin routine, eats well and takes supplements. She also gets massages and does red light therapy
@@emmaphilo4049collagen power can help with the skin. I'm your age and my skin started getting crepey. Now it's smooth and my laugh lines filled back in😊
People can't even imagine what plastic surgery and fillers can do if you doing them in the right way, naturally, believe me. Of course good genetic, eat healthy and workout can help but I saw so many women's doing all of that and doesn't look as good and young. Then I sow my neighbor who had a good face lift naturally looking that you will never think if you don't know ,just a little bit of fillers here and there in here 40 and she look like gorgeous 20 years old without even doing anything else.
The problem with facelifts is that they only last about 10 years. Having to get repeated facelifts throughout the aging process leads to people looking bizarre.
This is the truth. I can’t believe the amount of ignorant people here saying it’s just “taking care of yourself” or “genetics.” In reality it’s a large degree of surgical intervention as well!
My mom is 53 and looks like she's late 20's early 30's. When people ask her what's her secret she says, "I'm black, with oily skin. Never drank or smoked a day in my life, and I mind my business."
Oily skin -We call it wrinkle free skin.Dermatologist asked my mom what she has been using for her skin and she said nothing special. She is a pensioner!
Yep! I’m white with thick, oily skin and always hated it…. but I just turned 60, only started using moisturizer a few years ago, and am regularly guessed to be in my late 30s or early 40s. No sun (waste of time since I burned), no smoking, rare alcohol. Looking back, oily skin is a GIFT, even with a few years of teenage zits!! And now kids have much better options like differin gel and red light therapy for clearer skin while still keeping the benefits of the oil. We are lucky!
She is beautiful. It’s great that she takes good care of herself. The forties are still quite young though. Once a woman enters menopause, it becomes much more challenging to maintain a youthful appearance. I’m 51 years old and though I’m very careful of what I eat and have always been a gym goer, the last two years I’ve had to really work much harder to not gain weight and do more because of skin changes and hormone loss. I never had these challenges until about age 49.
I was super slim until I was well into my 50s. Then when I went off HRT bc of of a small breast cancer. Boy, was my system out off whack! Gained 15 lbs., was depressed and anxious, hot sweats, etc. Finally went back on HRT and I'm feeling back to normal. I exercise and eat really healthily but the weight has stayed on (but I look better bc of taking muscle-building classes and walking).
I just learned about her right now. I have a similar lifestyle following my own research. Yes it makes a difference but as you said, menopause would make a substantial impact on your body. I have seen women ‘s skin and body changed drastically after menopause. For me taking supplements and visiting Herbalist helped balance my body. Being healthy is most important.

I just turned 40 myself, and I have a ton of girlfriends that are over 40 (Asian and Latina) and they look in their late 20s early 30s at best. 40s is young, but also I think it’s a lot more common (to look years younger) than people realize since lifestyles/diets have changed over the years.
Being Asian def helps lol. I did try retinol once but my skin is hypersensitive and it actually caused redness and wrinkles for me. Since then I’ve realized the simpler and more natural the skincare (for me at least with one or a few ingredients). I love using aloe vera or skin oils from a company called The Ayurveda Experience. I use Dr. Bronner’s scentless castile soap for the face and take lots of organic whole food supplements and try to drink green juices and smoothies and eat a clean diet. I love The Healthy Life channel, which really covers all ground of the importance of food choices and exercise. It’s a vegan channel but Markus is over 60 and looks amazing. I also love face skin care like red light, wearing natural masks like yogurt or bentonite clay, steaming, exfoliating, cold therapy (if I can bear it 🥴) and there’s this amazing device for your face called PMD clean pro that feels so good when you wash or moisturize your face (has a cleaning side and one for massaging in oils). I also love watching Face Yoga Method videos! Lol, ok this was a long list and I definitely don’t do it all as faithfully as I should, but when I do, I definitely see a difference and it becomes more of your lifestyle too.
I tried it to and had the same issues!! Completely darkened my skin as well. I've searched the whole internet for ppl that have had issues like mine from using it and you're the first I have come across.
I just stopped using Dr Bronnees liquud castile soap and went back to Shea Moisture Black soap and coconut oil for my moisturizer for my face, neck and hands. I will be 68 this month , no wrinkles M y skin feels so soft and smooth . I like using products that have ingredients I can pronounce , not like the ones from a high school chemistry book . Same with my diet .
I never used retinol but did try hyaluronic acid. A doctor swore by it. I don't have wrinkles but wanted to try it on my face. What a mistake. I woke up with wrinkles around my eyes and a deep wrinkle next to my smile line. I had to massage the area and apply shea butter every single day to plump my skin. Now I am hesitant to try anything just because others are doing it. After seeing your comment, I am staying away from retinol too.
Yeah, she's naturally pretty and has taken care of her self . The thing is, she still has a natural looking face and I hope she keeps that. She should continue to do what works for her. She's an inspiration for a healthy lifestyle and I am happy for whatever positivity she can share.

I'm not that surprised. Just stay away from the sun and don't eat too much. Yeah, and the exercise and sleep keeps the body shaped and the skin nice. Make your own hyaloronic acid. That keeps the face and neck wrinkle-free! It worked for me.
She has great habits that are certainly helping her a lot, but let's be honest, GENETICS play a huge role here. Not everyone would be able to look like her no matter how much work they put in.
I don't follow a strict routine like her, my habits might be in the "middle" between healthy and unhealthy. I don't smoke, eat mostly vegetarian/vegan but I'm addicted to chocolate 😄 and had a lot of stress in my life. But I get frequently mistaken for the sister of my teenage daughters, people use to estimate my age at least 10 years younger than I actually am. So I think, genetics play a big role in this.
So couple of things. 46 is not that old, the most significant ageing starts in menopause, in woman's fifties. She is slim, has long hair and great genetics. She takes good care of herself regarding nutrition and workouts. She also had some help of a plastic surgeon.
Agreed. The ageism and pressure to remain youthful is infuriating. Does eating healthy, working out, and moisturizing everyday help? Yes but it’s unfair to promote this as the “ticket to youth.” I have aged so much in the last five years due to trauma, stress, and family situations…. Things beyond my control. I looks my age, maybe even older, but I’m far from unhealthy. This is the perpetuation of unrealistic beauty standards.
I'm 33 going on 34 and am usually taken for 18. People ask how I look so young. My answer is usually I never smoked, drank alcohol, or did drugs, and while I've never done a strenuous daily work out routine, I've always kept active with hiking, roller skating, ice skating, walking, running, gardening, working off and on in housekeeping, being a carhop, ect. I usually eat pretty healthy and went dairy free at age 16, because it was clogging my sinuses and bothering my asthma. Since then my face has always looked slimmer and I don't usually have bad bags around my eyes. A lot of people still shake their head at how young I look though.
I didn't drink or smoke ever in my life but i eat red meat and chicken and my son born at the age of 39 and then i gived birth to my daughter at the age of 44 all natural and my health visitor didn't believed my age and my friends always ask me about my young looking but i always told them i used jhonson baby lotion on my skin till the age of 40 😂 then i started other moisturiser only no fillers or anything and my skin is still nice now i am 47
49 here and have nothing done but just drug store Vaseline moisture everyday. And yes of course makeup helps 😊.Just remember to be happy every day no matter what you do. It helps 😊❤
She looks amazing at 46.. im 44 too and my friends told me i look younger than my age. Im taking care of myself im not smoking but i do drink wine occasionaly ,eat meat but i do love fish and veggies the most. I'm the same age. I prioritize the EXACT same things, etc. exercise, diet, & particularly the same skin products (glycolic acid, retinol, & tretinoin) & I'm constantly told the I'm on the younger side of my age as well. But I have to say, switching to a plant based diet had THE MOST SIGNIFICANT impact on my halting the aging process for me.

She looks amazing and naturally young! She is 46 though and more then likely has not gone through menopause. As a licensed esthetician I know that after menopause, collagen decreases exponentially every year. She will probably always look youthful but it is going to get harder into the next decade.
I’m also 46 and built exact like her. I also don’t look much older than her. I think a lot of people are confused about what a 46 year old woman actually looks like. All of my friends look pretty much all the same and we all look pretty much like this girl. You’re comparing 46-year-old woman now to 46-year-old women from 20 years ago. We don’t look like that anymore. None of us.
I was ok until about 55 and then menopause 🙄 I'll be 60 this year. My friend is 10 years older than me. She has drunk wine every night for probably over 40 years, never taken her make up off at night and stays up late, yet her skin is immaculate. Her mum and Grandma had no wrinkles either. No matter what you slap on your skin or try to do you can't change your genes! It's not a 1 skin care solution.
She looks amazing! She has genetics on her side and she probably hasn't gone through pre-menopause/menopause yet which I heard is a game changer and speeds up aging.
I eat only healthy foods, no junk food ever, I workout every day, lift weights, do cardio, take super good care of my skin, I don't drink or smoke and I still don't look as good as her. I think I look OK, and younger than my age but her super smooth skin and young looks are mostly genetic.
1. Dieting. Limit your intake of carbohydrates and fat. I don't eat pork and very rarely eat red meat. The protein sources that I take mostly come from fish, chicken (without skin), eggs, and some from vegetable sources. Eat more vegetables and fruit too. 2. Switch to plant-based milk. 3. Reduce fast food and refined carbohydrates. Direct sources of carbohydrates can be rice, potatoes, sweet potatoes. Avoid MSG. 4. Regular exercise. For me 3-4 times every week. Each session can be 30-60 minutes. 5. I very rarely drink alcohol, and don't smoke. Drink water regularly according to your body's needs to stay hydrated. For me, at least 1.5 liters/day. 6. Do light facial care. Such as using cleanser with skin pH, toner, serum and moisturizer. I use several of these ingredients: mugwort, niacinamide, AHA BHA PHA, Retinol, Bakuchiol, Aloe Vera. The important thing is that the skin must remain hydrated, and at least once a week the skin must be regenerated with soft peeling. 7. Don't forget to use sunscreen all over your body. 8. Do facial massage therapy as often as possible to improve blood circulation. Other body treatments such as spa, scrubbing and massage. 9. Do intermittent fasting regularly and correctly to maintain body health from within. 10. Have regular sleep hours and duration. Minimum 5-6 hours a day if you are a busy person. 11. Avoid excessive stress. Don't forget to smile, laugh and be happy. This is one of the important factors to stay young. These are some of the things I often do to pamper and love my body. I dont do any botox and fillers to get my younger looks, beside i dont have enough money to do that lol. Anw Im 35 yo but feel younger than my age (at least i thought soo) 😂. Hopefully it suits for you too. ❤😊
Genetics does play a factor however looking younger longer has a lot to do with a healthy balanced diet, getting daily exercise, and a good skin and hair regime. So she is doing everything right. Great video!!
Let's not kid ourselves, genes is the most important factor here. We could all workout, eat well, and take care of our skin, but most of us will never look like her naturally. Her relatives likely aged well, had her body type, and were remarkably beautiful. That doesn't mean we shouldn't take care of ourselves and look the best WE can look, but I hate how they act like looking 20 years younger is an achievable goal for most people if they just "make the right choices."
I'm almost 40 I use a lot of skin care oils creams and sunscreen. I try my best to keep my stress down by exercising. Teeth is important too its not easy doing that everyday it's becomes my life soon I love how this women is so dedicated to taking care of herself that's a beautiful thing women no matter are all beautiful no matter what Thanks for sharing your skin care
This woman along with Meagan Good are my pretty women in 40's inspirations. I know I will never look like them but they continue to inspire me to stay and be healthy as possible.
Positive outlook on life, happy vibes and ability to be grateful to life’s blessings contribute even more to not only how one looks, but also how one feels!
The biggest reason is not to worry about future which means you have enough money and time to spend for yourself..not about products ..it is all about being relaxed about life and feeling secure, financially balanced..😊
Completely agree! I am childfree so I have not a lot of responsibilities, stress and have disposable income and time. Also my body is fit and healthy because no pregnancy or childbirth. It’s a win!
It's genetics but definitely lifestyle too. My parents are both in their 50s, but look a few years younger-especially my mum. Neither of them smokes, my father doesn't drink at all, and my mother only drinks on special occasions like when she has guests over, or on vacation. My father has always prioritized his skin, so it looks great and healthy. Black also don't crack so maybe that's why lol. But yeah, lifestyle REALLY is a gamechanger.
I'm 49 (have got a 23 y-old son), but most people think I'm not older than 30-35. I think it's lifestyle and thinking, I try to stay in balance in my soul and stay positive in every state of my life (I was bedridden bc of chronic life for 3 years and so on) but feelings and thoughts are most important.
I think it's also more on genetics. I was in my late 40s and everyone at work thought i was in my early 20s. I eat junk food like there's no tomorrow even till now. . I sleep less than 6 hours almost everyday. I dont exercise either. I do little yoga when i have time but i usually don't. I had my third baby when i was 48 with no medical help, all natural labor, no childbirth issues. Within 2 weeks, I had flat stomach that my husband was jokingly jealous of me. Im 56 now and still menstruating, no menopausal symptoms at all. I thank GOD everyday for HIS blessings and HIS graces. What im trying to say is, it can be possible to look and feel young because of genetics...with no work done or good diet or exercise. But at my age now, i started taking care more of my health and skin including sunscreen usage, more veggies and fruits and taking more supplements. I also started exercising especially muscle growth stimulating exercises. May GOD bless you all. Be well.
I don’t know if it’s because I’m a millennial who’s used to seeing youthful looking older women, but I can tell she isn’t in her 20s. She looks mid 30s to mid 40s and there’s nothing wrong with that 👍
Wow, this video is a treasure trove of info! I’ve got to share my little irony-laden story. So, at 40 (because let’s face it, 40 is not that old), I started noticing more wrinkles and uneven skin tone. My dermatologist recommended a red light therapy panel from Future Form Official. After a few weeks, my skin’s complexity and wrinkles visibly improved. It’s almost like magic but backed by science-there are tons of scientific papers on it! I didn’t have to make any drastic lifestyle changes, just added a bit of light therapy into my routine. Huge thanks to the video for reminding us that self-care and the right tools can really make a difference. Cheers to looking fabulous at any age! 🌟
Im going 50 but im look younger in my ages Eating healthy food ,exercise daily , proper skincare that match to your skin , good life styles, always put smiles on your face , always think positive and taking care yourself.
I know a filipino woman, mum of 3, that just turned 40, and looks exactly like this. There is a lot of genetics here, people. That doesn't mean you can't take care of yourself, for sure.
Just did the warm up and the first circuit, I'm dyin, gonna have to work up to part 2 of the circuits, cause man, I'm out of shape only 22, but I noticed I have a pretty hard time getting up from sitting on the ground and I'm not over weight, I just don't move, and I wanna be healthy for my family, here's the start to a healthy life, I actually just cut out weed, alcohol and high fructose cornsyrup 3 weeks ago, and now exercising, let's do it! To whoever is reading this, you just gotta start, be stubborn about being healthy
She's had botox in her forehead and possible filler in cheeks and/or around her eyes. Not sure if the video mentions this but she certainly has that filler smile in the first clip with her daughter. She looks AMAZING and while I can acknowledge the average 40 year old doesn't look like this, I think it's important to remember 40 isn't old. A lot of 40 year old women go through a lot of stress and have limited free time to take care of themselves.
I started doing skincare since I was 11-12 as well for Christmas when I was 12 I wanted skincare products lol. I’m 25 now and still have a skincare routine
I am almost 44 , my son is almost 23, my daughter 10...I don't look 20 years definitely, but I don't look my age either.. Now , I don't smoke, I don't drink alcohol, I become vegan 5 years ago , I don't apply cream but I use coconut oil on my face or organic Shea butter from African shop....I do have my wrinkles thought...I am real and nothing ever done nothing to my face...I prefer to age gracefully and natural..I don't know how I will be thinking later but, for now...this is my option
The key is accepting what you look like as you age. You will never look as good as you did in your 20s, and that’s OK. Taking care of yourself and feeling great for your age (weight lifting, cardio, stretching) is more important than trying to look young again, which is impossible. Ladies, you will understand this when you hit 50. Start as early as you can.
i hate to burst your bubble. i look better now at 46 than 26. I am mistaken for my early 20s. that said, i won the genetic lottery but i take immaculate care of my body. no red meat or pork, minimal added sugars, lots of fish, veggies and superfruits. skincare is queen. but i have an advantage most will never have. i'm a trans femme. i went on feminine HRT 2 years ago, so my second (true) puberty with estrogen makes my babyface more babyish.
Actually my mom who is 47 looks my age, and she looks much prettier now than in her pictures of her 20s, my aunt say my mom looked worst than now before. That you could not manage to look as well as in your 20s does not mean other women can't do it neither
Most people I know that 45 don't look "45" when myself or any of my female friends or family members was in our 40's all we ever heard was " omg you don't look 40+ so its time we realize that 40+ is not that old.
Why would i be skinny, restrict myown diet , excesive excercise, over and over till i get old and die ..only to expose mybody to strangers?? Is that what life is all about??
When I was 46, I looked 20 - I was in great shape, did outdoor, physical work and ate well. But more importantly, I have the genes that made that possible. At 62 now, that youthful glow is gone, but it was nice while it lasted.
I have a few Asian friends in their 40’s that look really young and a few that look a little older. The biggest difference, that I can tell, is how they treated their body. Heavy drinkers and partiers all look older.
Someone said that Jolene claimed to have had her daughter young, young enough to be her sister. If her daughter is 22 at 18, that would make her 40 not 46? The math ain’t mathing
@@LaciRaeI think she meant if her daughter is 22 and the mom gave birth at 18 the mom would now be 40 , not 46 . However my daughter is 22 and I had her at 19 and I’m 42 so the math is still about 1 year off depending on the actual birthdays of the two ladies .
Separate from working out it’s her genetics. The darker the color pigment of your skin makes such a significant difference to youth & a lack of aging. She looks great but you can’t compare to someone who’s ethnicity make all the difference in the world.
100% Genetics don't get scam. "Longevity genes are specific genes that are associated with living longer. Two genes that are directly associated with longevity are SIRT1 (sirtuin 1) and SIRT2. 17 Scientists looking at a group of over 800 people age 100 or older, found three significant differences in genes associated with aging.May 25, 2023"
I admit that I didn't care about skincare and exercise until last year, at age 38. Half of the time is genetic, another half to look your best is diet and lift weight.
Excuse me, her face doesn’t move, I’m sure she’s had plenty of fillers and Botox. Of course she’s taken care of herself and has great genes. For what I can think, she hasn’t hit menopause yet, then I’ll be amazed if she’ll look like this in 10 years.
i'm turning 20 in a few days and i started freaking out about aging and i was like "i'm getting older and it's getting colder☹️☹️" i was really sad. this gave me hope!! i'm still just starting adulthood but it made me feel better about becoming an adult!!🥳🥳🥳 let's be forever young
You can not be forever young, so figure that out right now. Aging doesn't hurt, it's going to happen, there benefits to getting older. You need to spend some time with older people (and I mean OLDER like 60's and up) to understand that older doesn't mean no life.
It's 90% genetics. I'm 40 and everyone thinks I'm 25. My dad is 67 and looks 50, full head of hair and no grey's. My mom and grandmother are the same way, they all look 15-20 years younger. None of us eat healthy or workout. I grew up in FL and used to tan and get bad burns all the time, no wrinkles or spots on me. Most of these products are just snake oil. I actually wish it wasn't genes and people could work hard to achieve a more youthful appearance but you have to play the hand you're dealt.

She's not 40, she's over 45 which makes her appearance even more impressive imo.
I agree
I'm sure she also avoids toxic people as situations and people as well. Stress kills.
genetics is the main factor
Yes
💯 I look 10 years younger since I'm not around devil ugly people
As a school teacher she will have to deal with stress but maybe has a healthy way to deal with it.
She has a baby face and works out. That's it, there is no magic secret. Someone in their 40s is not old at all. And raising kids and being a mom is a pretty stressful role
1. Taking care of yourself
2. Genetics
3. Genetics x2
Given that her daughter looks 12, yes, genetics is the main reason.
AGREED
Fish oil is great for skin cells, so yes, fish is a good move.
+genetics too
Many people are allergic to fish though. Eating many collagen rich foods and foods with antioxidants like fruits and vegetables is more doable

Edit: I don’t use retinol but I do a vitamin C citrus 🍊 peel once per week which assists in cell turnover and lightened aged spots.
Avoiding sugar does help with your skin, and she does actually eat fast food, but not constantly like other people
I'm almost 47 Filipino. I've been low carb since 2018. I don't look a day over 20😊
Facts!
good for you. i don't avoid red meat and i look amazing.
no amount of marketing can sell genetics!! she is blessed with awesome genes fullstop
If she chainsmoked that would change. Also, have you heard of epigenetics?
I have friends they smoke and drink and have beautiful skin and friends which dont smoke have terrible skin-so 🤷♀️
It's not always genetics
Maybe it's healthy food , self care , good mental health, avoiding toxic people!
Exactly!!! 👍
40's are no big deal. The 55 plus is what will matter. It amazes me of what happens after 55. Keep up the videos and I will check back in 10 plus years.

you're not wrong. My mother says once you hit your 50s, every year will make your body diff. A year in your 50s is like 5 years. Your body changes a lot year to year. Then she says in your 60s all you pray for is are you injured or not. You pray to be mobile enough to travel.
Yep! As a filipina I can confirmed that most of us Filipinas don’t age at 40. 60s maybe. But 40s are still young here

This is facts. I know a few Filipina at Mt job and I was shocked to know their age. Genes for the win. 😅
Same with most Asians actually. Just stay out of the sun as much as possibly.

It's not justt genetics for young people being out of shape, but it IS genetics for a 46 year old looking more than 20 years younger, and this is what this video is about.

Nobody is saying it's 100% genetics. Obviously lifestyle plays into this. The only people who believe otherwise are unfortunately deluded.
Very true indeed, a lifestyle free from stress can contribute alot to good looks
Agree👍🏽
May I ask where you guys get tretinoin? Is it prescription grade from your doctor?
Amazing
Wow, thanks for sharing your tips
What is this frequency therapy? It sounds so interesting... Do u mind elaborating?
So true
Absoloutely AMAZING to hear this. Well done.

That's so beautiful! Happy for you both
This is genetics, plus surgical intervention, plus a good diet and self care. She’s obviously worked hard, but let’s not deny the other two components as well.
100% agree (I'm a dentist and perform fillers and botox occasionally)
I am also thinking so: we never see her frown and she looks like she had some fillers done, which is fine until it is said to be naturally possible and this tale goes having other woman feel guilty because they did not enough to stay young 😅
YES SHE HAD SURGERIES AND BOTOX, I ALSO THINK SHE IS NIT BEING TRUTHFUL ABOUT HER REAL AGE.
She’s Asian

She looks amazing. I am 53 and taking care of myself, skincare and clean living really have made a difference!

This is all so true, I am 44 and it is an overall long-term approach. Sleep, exercise, not too much alcohol, no smoking and low stress.
She looks great! She definitely had a breast augmentation and botox, fillers, treatments. Nothing wrong with that at all!

Now I am hesitant to try anything just because others are doing it. After seeing your comment, I am staying away from retinol too.

So couple of things. 46 is not that old, the most significant ageing starts in menopause, in woman's fifties. She is slim, has long hair and great genetics. She takes good care of herself regarding nutrition and workouts. She also had some help of a plastic surgeon.
I don't think so.

She looks mid 30s to mid 40s and there’s nothing wrong with that 👍
Agree
Same something about her gives off older but youthful woman. I would not think she was 20
Wow, this video is a treasure trove of info! 🌟
She has excellent genes. And keeping thin and fit helps so much 💝
That’s for presenting yourself with clean presentation physically and what you say concerning your personal life.
I didn’t start aging till my mid forties. Genetics do play a part as well as healthy living.
Im going 50 but im look younger in my ages Eating healthy food ,exercise daily , proper skincare that match to your skin , good life styles, always put smiles on your face , always think positive and taking care yourself.
She's Filipino. I can show you around Filipino women I know looked much younger than her lol. It's in their genes!
She really has great genes. Even her voice sounds like a young person's.
Biggest tip to the young women out there:
She’s never had a man stress out her life.
Hormonal Fatigue is real.
Protect your emotions.

When you base your whole personality around the way you look
“if her daughter is 22 at 18”??
@@LaciRaeI think she meant if her daughter is 22 and the mom gave birth at 18 the mom would now be 40 , not 46 . However my daughter is 22 and I had her at 19 and I’m 42 so the math is still about 1 year off depending on the actual birthdays of the two ladies .
@@carolinelaronda4523 thank You.
If her daughter is 22 and she had her at 18 which would be the oldest according to her interview, she may have been younger
Oh you will be fine for a long time. I think the small signs of aging started at around mid to late 30s.
You can not be forever young, so figure that out right now. Aging doesn't hurt, it's going to happen, there benefits to getting older. You need to spend some time with older people (and I mean OLDER like 60's and up) to understand that older doesn't mean no life.
Me: Gosh I’d love to look like young when I’m 46!
Video: You have to say no to alcohol
Me: I guess I’ll just look old then
It's 90% genetics.
👏🏻 Good for her! She looks great, but more importantly, it looks like she’s doing her best to be healthy.
