I go for roar, and with near 400% ability strength, is great not just for her 1 and 4 but for melee influence. Some would prefer sickening pulse, but for me roar amplifies more damage. I also like alt firing cedo to mix with her 1 and 4 because seeing all those status ailments on enemies in one view is just fun, then pair it with breach surge for even more chaotic fun. For a tankier run, i use eclipse for 75% damage reduction and pair with triple umbra mods plus arcane blessing. I dont usually run shield gate builds, but breach surge helps a lot for blinding enemies around for some leeway against hordes. It also helps a bit in completing decrees because it stops enemies in their tracks so you can kill them easier with those mobility challenges. 1st ability spam is also fun (just not best dps) if you go for two casting speed archon shards with natural talent and energy efficiency up to 175%. The only problem is you can sore and tire your finger from tapping too much. I use a controller instead of a keyboard for this.

@@JustHailey i haven't tried other subsumes as i don't have all frames eaten by helminth yet. i can probably benefit from the decrees that give boosts to finishers by using radial blind from excalibur, since that ability opens enemies to finishers. her 4th can open to ground finishers but the time given to do that seems too quick or maybe it didn't proc. atlas petrify or caliban's can make enemies be vulnerable to more damage. it can be nice but roar seems to be better. almost every youtuber i see just go with archon mods but they''re effects are too miniscule for me to capitalize for their higher mod capacity.
@kosmikaonebladeshy a fun option for finishers is the medjay predasite. You could use a similar build as the one here but replace tandem bond with the medjay exclusive that makes them charge and spread a spore that primes for finishers! ❤️

I agree that you really don't need the archon mods, but I'd argue that you could hella get away with replacing prime flow with archon flow on your build for even more energy comfort. I think you might be mistaken on how Archon Flow actually works.. The only way Koumei can proc the 10% chance to drop an energy orb is if an enemy dies to the direct damage of a cold thread from her 1. Outside of that she does no cold damage with her abilities to interact with the mod. It’s not that the Archon mods are not worth it, it’s that they just don’t work with her kit.
For all my math nerds out there, the way this works is really 3 fold: Armor stacking + damage reduction stacking + ungodly amounts of CC. As mentioned I only had 1 defensive decree that dropped as a rare in the gameplay here for 120 armor per corrosive stack, up to 5. This is enough, because of Koumei's 4 + decrees for extra corrosive damage, to keep up 600 armor at all times raising her base damage reduction with this build from 81% to 86%, but we're not done. I also mostly always have the mecha pulse armor up for a minimum of about 240-540% armor, with the possibility of over 1,000%. For this let's assume low roll of 240% for an extra 1,065 armor! This takes us up to 91% damage reduction. And that's just one decree. If you continue the mission, the pool of possible decrees shrinks and it's not uncommon to end up with over 4,000 armor pretty early, netting 93% damage reduction and over 6,000 armor later, netting 95% reduction. On top of this we add adaptation to handle all the grunts, which is very helpful even through mid-level endurance, it's not uncommon to have this stacked to 90% on common statuses (IPS), with another 10-50% for elements. And finally the gamba for the decree of damage reduction per decree for up to 75% more damage reduction. This combination of factors, not even including Koumei's 3 granting 100% damage reduction every 3 seconds plus a heal, makes Koumei exceptionally tanky as a warframe. In an earlier version of the build I didn't start to get 1 shot until level 4,300 enemies, and this build is far tankier than that (roughly 4,000 armor tankier plus adaptation.) All of this plus hunter recovery keeping a constant heal means the only thing you'll die to is a 1 shot, with an effective health pool that can eclipse 2 million. Add to that the constant damage prevention from her 3 and shield recovery from augur reach, and you get a nearly immortal warframe that still brings the damage. Stay safe friends!

I tried sickening pulse but wasn't a fan. It's really good but the spread + blind combined is pretty hard to pass up.
