Then one day it just clicked and I realized "Oh, I'm Zephyr", then pressed 3 and flew through the whole thing. Slap rolling gaurd on that bird and don't touch the ground, you're never taking damage.
I do believe that having a single mod be this powerful is maybe a little too strong, but realistically there are a lot of interactions in the game that scale at the same rate, it doesn’t make a lot of sense to remove one when so many others exist.
@@nahuelferreyra old DE, sure, but Rebbframe team really doesn't nerf very often or fix things like this very often. the mindset of expecting nerfs for things like this is fairly outdated, and the only time in recent memory DE did anything to rein things in was the Nezha augment (which they mostly went back on immediately) and the Dante changes (which left Dante still remarkably strong, but fixed the problem of Dante being the All-Frame). this is also just a matter of intended mechanics, and you could get similar effects elsewhere just as easily.
I think the "problem" is that you have to stay still, just like Octavia. You cant run the mission, you need to stay in a single place. So in the end only the people that you play endless mission for some time will use it.
Octavia can be a visual AND auditory hazard to the squad and to yourself. Zephyr is way more forgiving...still, the coolest aspect on her is to go 🛩 mode, wich is not very suited for the narrow corridors on most missions...aaaand in open maps before we had archwings that were faster, and now we have teleport pads. So... 🤷♂️. Yes, she has many damage/utility interactions on her kit...as many frames also do...
Octavia does it all. Infinite scaling damage, permanent refreshable invisibility, multishot buff, melee dmg buff, armor + mspd buff. And all those buffs can be used by the entire team. All on top of being insanely easy to play. Just press the button and play to the beat. Which is probably E1M1 from doom with a repeating bass that anyone can synchronize to. Zephyr can CC and deal lots of damage, like many other frames. Octavia and zephyr are simply not comparable.
Voltaic Strike being Baro Only (And 50 plat on the market) doesn't really make it most accessible, though. You can replicate this with Shocking Touch and Melee Prowess, though I wonder how far you could carry it with just Shocking Touch alone.
I recommend riven sliver farming and heading to Iron Wake on a weekly basis to get the 2 rivens Palladino offer. You can either make enough plat from selling to buy a VS. Or you may just find someone who will trade you one for the riven itself.
Just a note that with a single tauforged green shard you can strip max armor enemies to where they only have about 13% damage reduction so the two shards are not completely necessary, useful to know if you could use the shard space in your build.
yep. Melee influence is insane. At some point in time I thought they were gonna change it, or at least patch the 3 times application of faction damage they have not and now it is a super accessible mega nuke option - that is probably here to stay I personally use the xoris. I wouldn’t recommend a one mod build like this to anyone, just due to glaive wind up speed but yes. Melee influence is insane and has made it so people barely out of the campaign can nuke harder than most people in most steel path missions/other end game content that I play with. I don’t think I even have my xoris maxed out - I just threw something together, and it nukes lol
1:20 youre wrong. Melee Influence actually has a 20% chance on electricity status effect to give you a buff. This buff is what allows your melee to apply all elemental statuses on all enemies in a radius for a few seconds Edit: as proof you can just look at the top right of your screen. YOU gain the melee influence buff, and thats when you actually apply elemental status in an area. Enemies dont apply it themselves like you said

I used Zephyr through all my SP outside of interception, which i used Khora. Tornadoes for melee and turbulence for range makes you pretty hard to kill. Also used Amprex for most of steel path too.

You could honestly skip the Voltaic strike and throw Volts 1 on any warframe (with the augment mod) and bam, you have on demand lightning mega death, as long as the melee weapon has no element or has a prebuilt combined element (and you have melee influence). Which can be put on the Zenistar as long as you make it blast or gas first, Cast Shock Trooper and that Arcane will do the rest. it's just a goofy little build, but is quite devastating if you can set it up.

It’s technically more like numEnemies^2 + damage but we don’t really care about the last part because it doesn’t change the scaling. The damage to each enemy is done by the number of incoming procs which is determined by the number of enemies. Try this: for every number 1-10, print the numbers 1-10. You will see it is x^2
If I'm not mistaken, and I'm sorry if you said this and I skimmed, the electric proc zephyr tornado interaction only works when you are host. Unless melee influence fixes that problem.
@@spookipants This particular interaction has been in the game for a long time as far as I know. It works without influence really well with primary beam weapons. When I intend to do this funny, I use amprex with full electricity and fire rate.
If you are struggling with wisp and cedo then don't use wisp and cedo. There are plenty of frames and weps than can do SP. Wisp can for sure although I'm not too familiar with cedo so maybe try changing weapons.

My only thing about builds like these is that personally I don’t want the hardest content in the game to feel easy so I tend to avoid builds like these. Still cool that you took the time to figure this out tho 👍🏾
It really isn't the hardest content, deep archimedia exists. SP circuit is even harder if you have no idea what you're doing. This game just rewards knowledge by doing crazy damage numbers

This isnt exclusive to melee influence, its just zephyrs tornado. This is a mechanic called 'Crit Recursion' the youtuber @Kiocifer did a video on this and many other zephyr things
This has nothing to do with crits apart from the scaling of the DOT's and it doesnt use recursion at all so Im a little confused why you would call it that. If it was recursion the scaling would look like 2^x. Also you can get a watered down version of this with just grouping the enemies together and then hitting them all at once with the melee.

I'm trying to give this a go with a really high status chance weapon with electricity... and it deals almost no damage even with like 20 enemies, on a rank 3 Arcane Influence I don't get how this guy is making it so crazy strong I'm not really understanding what I'm doing wrong if... All he uses is bonus status effect chance, electricity damage majority, and Arcane Influence.

You can do this with no mods by using the xoris since it force procs electric on its explosion
or any electricity base melee for that matter. This way it works for every melee.
Steel Path is easy with this specific build for a specific weapon and a single warframe. Yup, amazingly useful video.

Just use terrify from nekros to armor strip and swap out the green crystals for Yellow / Energy / casting speed
Problem, Tornado Zephyr generally doesn't have high number of strength, often under 100%, thus slotting in Terrify doesn't provide much benefit.

the survivabilty is the problem beginners face, not the dmg output so you didnt really help the beginners who watched that...
everywhere i have seen its the damage people have issues with, but literally on zephyr you press 3 and you are basically invincible.
Zephyr's 3rd ability makes you immune to projectiles. unless you're fighting infested and their toxin auras, you're nearly undying
