11. How to Compute Variables in SPSS | SPSS for Beginners

In this video, I explained how to compute variables in spss. Before doing multivariate level analysis, we need to compute variables.
It is easy to compute variables in spss. For this, you need following steps:
Click Transform and then click on Compute Variable.
In the Target Variable area, type a name for the new variable that will be computed; let's call the new variable SAT.
On the right side, add all items of the SAT for taking average.
Click OK to complete the computation.

what to do if no loading for 3-4 variables and
