Interesting the Dems use the argument of "It is only a tiny number of women who are affected by trans in sports", and then in the same conversation tell us that trans rights are super important, despite them being only a tiny number.

Not that fewer number of examples don't matter any less than greater number examples but that could be a second reason why it isn't getting as much attention.

Listen, I was a middle school Football Coach for 2 years. In our second season, we had 2 or 3 girls come out for the team. There are no rules stating they can't play so, they joined the summer workouts. Did really well. Did all the push ups, squats, and sit ups the guys did. Ran the same drills. All that. Then came the first day of hitting (practice with pads and full contact). They took one look at practice and BOTH decided it was better to be managers. Just because you CAN do a thing doesn't mean you SHOULD do a thing. All that inclusion was great for them until the reality of the sport hit them! This was middle school, 6th, 7th, and 8th graders ages 11 to 13. Even at that young age, the strength disparity between boys and girls is enormous. So even at a young age, a "Trans athlete" who "identifies" as a girl could cause serious injury to a biological girl. We're just built different! AND THAT'S SCIENCE!!!

Or a female college student who has been told she has to room with a trans woman. He did not lose the opportunity for a scholarship or college admission to a trans woman. This is about sports, but it's also about so much more. Most of us do not have a problem if a trans woman uses a women's restroom. If fact, we probably wouldn't even notice. But when any man can claim that he is trans and use that as an excuse to enter women's restrooms and changing rooms it becomes a problem. The woman who complained after walking into a Planet Fitness bathroom and seeing a man shaving his face at the sink had every reason to feel uncomfortable. The fact that the 2 hosts of this show had to practically walk on eggshells when discussing this issue shows how much psychological bullying has been used to silence people. Voters showed that they are tired of people telling them that trans people's feelings are more important than women's feelings and that safety and fairness for women is really not that important.

I don't condone the silence but I understand that not everyone has the luxury of being able to sacrifice their job. The fact that we’re asked to accommodate a mutable characteristic, based on someone’s decision/desire, and if we don’t accommodate it, we’re called transphobic, is insane. The same argument applies for trans women who literally still have male body parts showing up in female spaces, and all females are supposed to accommodate them!!! It’s just mind boggling. The stats completely changes, when such cases happen. Even if it is just 1 such trans in a change room that accommodates 100 of females for example, you can’t say😅 that “oh that’s just 1% of population and we’re being mean to that 1%”, in fact in that situation that 1% has impacted the other 99% of population, by showing up with male body parts in a female change room. And the 99% are asked to shut up and accept the situation. How can that be right? How can that be fair? There is nothing fair about that picture. It’s wrong and extreme lefties are absolutely missing the point on this.

@inkrahek3802 multiple things can be true at once. Obvious physical advantages in sports (which you have, as I pointed out already avoided admitting is demonstrably true) and that women's divisions are established to make women feel safe.
Your conclusion that "guys don't think women are smart enough" is both incorrect and ideologically driven (ie: you want to believe that men think women aren't smart enough). The actual reasons why there are women's leagues are:
To encourage a safe space for women who are historically a small group who were/are put off by playing against men. And second because chess is international and some countries won't allow women to play with men. Having a women's league allows all women everywhere to compete.
So the reason for separating men from women is indeed for inclusion in the game. Allowing trans women into women's divisions would undermine both of those aims which is great if you want to shut a lot of women out of the game. I guess the question is:
Why are you advocating for women to be pushed out of chess?
