Not sure if you remember me commenting your lines a few months ago; turning too early to most of the corners. Now much much much better (very nice to see your progression!), only a couple of places where you are still turning in too early. Also do you use any software where you can split one run to multiple sectors and combine sector times from different runs to get an approximate optimal total time (for example RaceChrono gives you that by default).?
New tires, clear lap, perfect weather then I guess it should be just about doable. Definitely not in TF :D The car is so impressive on the MR suspension, I think a GT4 needs the MR KWs more than a GT3 does
If a GT4 _RS_ MR can do 6:58 then I reckon given the right conditions and your skills.... well let's say I'm looking forward to the day you post a video showing us how it's done! 😉
Mal wieder sehr gut gefahren.
Hello Sir. Love this video and the One with you and friend chasing the Superbike. Do you Know Misha ? And did you complete the 24 hours of Nurburgring? Thanks again.
Hey man ✌🏼 thank you very much .. this lap was really cool! I always love it to watch GOOD bikers 🚀🚀 no I never did the 24h race .. I drive the Nordschleife just for fun since many many years :)
@@xthilox Ha ok; it's a genuine RS hood, I understand. Are the NACA ducts connected with the underbody like with the RS or is it only visual upgrades? Also; small (personal) side question; these days for the money of a used 718 GT4 PDK (+ the cost of a MR kit), I could also buy a used 991.2 GT3 (with no upgrades). There are some nice deals to make on used 991.2 GT3. Which car of those two would get your preference for TF; a GT4 MR PDK or basic 991.2 GT3 PDK?
@@Franzino yes it’s connected for cooling the brakes 👍🏼 all parts fit 1:1 👍🏼 well the GT3 RS is the faster car .. but are you sure you get a MK2 for this price? 🤔 I think the GT3 is still a lot more expensive and you will do some upgrades also when you go on track ;)
@@xthilox 718 GT4 PDK (clubsport) 125K + 27K (full MR Kit) = +/- 150K euro. You can now make deals for +/- 150K euro for a used 991.2 GT3 PDK (clubsport). It's a buyers market these days and with some effort and search there are really nice 991.2 GT3 deals to make in Europe (I noticed there is a lot of margin to negotiate). Yes indeed a GT3 with MR kit will of course be more expensive but a standard one is similar in price than a GT4 MR with PDK. Also; faster is not always more fun…991.2 GT3 is indeed faster (for the same money), but is it more fun than a GT4 MR? I was wondering which car you would pick of the mentioned two cars. I personally think it’s also fun to chase, hunt faster cars on TF with driving an (on paper) slower car. Like I now do with the Alpine; in the end…TF is only for fun and even if you have a GT3 RS there will always be someone faster out there ;)
Well, For me is a clearly yes, for sure! A few but decisive moments in which you lost some time even a second like the corner with gt3 rs. If the conditions let you try another lap like this one, in a few days you upload here a sub7 lap
Haha thx 😅😅 normally Manthey Trackdays are very best conditions in terms of the less traffic possible. But this year it was wet the whole morning so everybody wanted to have some cool laps when it got dryer
Ok to be honest, after watching the whole video more carefully, Sub 7 won't be easy but doable. I think if you did not get slowed done with the momentom you had, you could have probably done 7.01.500. Are the Goodyear as good as the Cup 2 R ? thank you@@xthilox
No traffic in good conditions 7m02. Extra 20hp at the top end and ~40ftlbs torque ( around 3000 to 5000 rpm) 6m55 perhaps... Great lap though, shame about the traffic slowing you down 2-3 seconds.
@@xthilox Aboslutely, I have a 718 to but just the base one but with 25k in mods tho. I just go under 8, from 7.50 to 8.00, I just don't have the balls to go any faster or well maybe got the balls but just scared to wreck it. I saw this vid, you commented on it also about the cayman gt4 rs with a racedriver or testdriver getting a fasstest lap but you are faster in a ''regular'' gt4, so yeah you are insane in a good way.

You just need a faster car to lead a few meters in front of you and then take the slip and maybe you can shave that 4 seconds?
Absolutely possible! 💪👍😎 Mega Runde btw. 👌
😅😅👍🏼 danke danke! Jetzt erst mal Winterpause ✌🏼✌🏼

Good to know; how many track KM could the KW suspension do before it needs the dampers refurbished?
@Franzino Manthey "recommend" 2000km on track but that's probably very conservative
@@JCviggen1 every 2000km!? Not 20 000 km?
@@Qqqqqqqqqaaaaaaa They said "2000 track km" recommendation but it seems excessive :) So long as the shocks don't leak you can use them of course
Blistering pace!!! Fantastic driving as always! Kudos from Portugal! 👏👏👏
Without traffic in this weather I think you would've done Sub 7. You're a beast.
Phenomenal driving, very enjoyable to watch. Here for the when Sub-7 comes 💪
Maybe low 4s or even 3s without Traffic. You are in the mood 😅 great

Beautiful lap my friend, just with there was no traffick
Weiter so 🥳
Yesss , under 7 is coming!!!🚀
Amazing! Pushing the car to the limit as always!

I reckon the Sub 7 is on. But you will need a bit of luck with the track and good conditions. All the Best.
Thx mate! I think so too ;)
Amazing lap, well done!
Sehr geil gefahren
With your skills 100% possible, some traffic slowed you down which would make a big difference. Great job!
Awesome lap!
Amazing lap.
Thank you!!
😮sub 7…..would be fantastic! 1:44
Are the modifications on the front hood (NACA ducts) also from MR?
No the hood is not from Manthey. The RS Hood is 1:1 fitting .. also the one from aero dynamics

Echt Schade… Sub7 ist drin… Etwas weniger Verkehr. Top Runde…
Traffic cost you cummulated 2,1 sec - so you stay at 07:02,8.
Last 3 sec is hard work and everything must work 100%!
