Tom and John Hoyer are the two guys I can watch regularity, I'm surprised that "The Next Bite" crew haven't reached out to Tom to make him a regular on the show.
Thanx Tom luv that section of river. Nice to see familiar landmarks. Gonna be a big snow storm probably good you got out of there when you did. JUST ordered myself the ‘BOX’. Tight lines…..
Send it on a upper Missouri River tour with that new boat. Would love to see you out on Fort Peck. Seminar at the Billings Scheels would be sweet. Thanks for what you do Tom!
The seats in the new boat look luxurious. Would you please share the name, brand, and source for the plier holder attached to the gunwale of your older boat?
Water temp is still a little cold on Pymi but no doubt next week will be on fire. I’ve used a lot of Tom’s advice and recommendations and it worked great on Pymi!
Tom - I missed out on buying this kit last spring, with the crazy weather I really want to get out in April on the river and try some of these techniques, are you gonna put out another kit this year?? Or any suggestions for a good spring arsenal?
I laugh. Literally every lure and bait in your box I've purchased throughout the winter based on your previous videos. Some were hard to find, and I still can't find the gold V Rod locally. Everwhere I go similar blade baits, hair jigs, etc made by other vendors are plentiful but the ones you recommend are gone. You are a marketing machine Tom. Acme owes you a big debt of gratitude.
Tom love your vids. Odd question but I live in Kansas and I’m getting my new boat in a month. I plan on fishing year around. I’m guessing you are an expert in cold weather fishing. What would you recommend clothing wise so that you never worry about the weather. A vid on that would be great as well. Thanks
4 hours and your package is already sold out! Awesome work man keep it up! Hopefully fish USA restocks soon I’d love to get my hand on some of that tackle.
Warrior 2090 has a 90" beam and the competitor 205 is 96". This is significant for 2 reasons ... 1) the warrior cuts rough water better and 2) the warrior will fit into a garage 8' wide doors :)
@Tom Boley can you talk about the difference between the elliot line of rods and the 2b genesis line that you are using? is one of them just a higher end build / premium version or what is exactly the difference in having the 2 different lines?
Great boat . I'm in Montana and I would never have balls enough to take a fiberglass boat in any of our boulder infested rivers . Lot more current too . Hard to hold a boat with spot lock only on our rivers.
Tom great salesman. I was introduced to fishusa by you last year by accident seen there tape in you boat. Only down fall ive noticed everything you promote is normally out of stock as soon as you memtion it. 😂 appreciate all the tips and tricks you put out there.
Thanks for all the information. I'm just starting to get into walleye fishing and cannot wait to try some of your tactics. I was wondering if you power all of your Helixes off the same battery and witch battery you use for that?
welcome to the Warrior family. ! you are my fovorite fishing guy better than al linder. yes im that old. keep up the great work. i have a Worrior 198 love it .
Maybe that, but my dad has the same alumacraft tom used to and those walls are thin, it's just the aluminum. On this warrier (or in any Larry Smith video) you see how thick the sides are where the open storage is. That's at least 6" you're losing each side, plus the big box/platform next to his tiller seat is waaay smaller on the alumacraft, maybe a foot or so. This boat you can't fish next to the tiller seat because of that.
@@marty5105 yeah I see that, just seemed to sway side to side more in the video then others. Even notice it while he was walking around. More so surprised then anything. Its doesn't affect the video quality just an obsevation!
🐟🎣🚤fantastic tom 👍i met you in mpls ice fishing show even got a pic of us, will need to have you autograph it for me someday. I fish in hayward alot hoping someday i'll bump into you again, truly wonderful following you thru the years. You're doing a fantastic job tom keep it going. really like your new boat, your walley now app, hooking up with fishusa and scheels. The people at sheels eau claire are by far the best and have knowledge of what they talk to you about. Continued success to you tom...
I'm no Tom Boley and my answer is not a substitute for his, but I do fish Dubuque's on pool 4 all the time. You have to adjust the jig weight to the current. Typically that will be 1/2 or 3/4 oz depending on depth and current. As little as 1/4 and as much as 1 oz. The guides I've fished with concur that it's better to have a too heavy jig and maintain bottom contact. Per the trailer, I don't usually use a jig. Tom and others will put a 1/8 or 1/16 of of an approximately 3' trailer. I just put a plain #2 aberdeen hook on the end of a 3' length of mono. When using a plain hook instead of a jig, I do opt for a curly tail grub or ring-tail worm instead of a swim bait on that hook.
For those that aren't familiar with the border waters, you are allowed two rods per angler. Because of this, you can fish a Dubuque rig, but it counts as 2 rods (2 lures on one rods). If you're fishing inland MN waters where only 1 rod is allowed, you cannot use this rig.
ordered this right after I watched video, looks like on BO. Fish usa says if item is on BO for more than 45 days they will remove. Will these be shipping within 45 days?
madison angling was talking about 3 ways and did a video on it the same day he supposedly saw you on the Wisconsin...he was using fly's. Tickle Tale TOM....
I met Tom at the St Paul Ice show. Tom, your a great guy, humble, and eager to share your craft with us "wanna-be" as good as you fishermen.
Hey Tom, love the new boat. We’re going to need a complete boat walk through. Would love to hear about everything in it. Enjoy!
You're killing it dude! My brother and I both agree that you are on brink of greatness. Keep up the great work!
Tom and John Hoyer are the two guys I can watch regularity, I'm surprised that "The Next Bite" crew haven't reached out to Tom to make him a regular on the show.

Vantage for back trolling? Decided not to go with the kicker?
Tom you should talk about your battery power set up to run all the graphs and trolling motors. Did you go Lithium?
Thanx Tom luv that section of river. Nice to see familiar landmarks. Gonna be a big snow storm probably good you got out of there when you did. JUST ordered myself the ‘BOX’. Tight lines…..
Impressive work / fishing ethic!
Early morning, 19°, high dirty water, and some wind.
Send it on a upper Missouri River tour with that new boat. Would love to see you out on Fort Peck. Seminar at the Billings Scheels would be sweet. Thanks for what you do Tom!
No Warners dock this time around? Haven't been down to boat center yet
You caught the trifecta saugeye, sauger and walleye
You got open water fishing, we're still all froze up, you got more spring then we have. 😁
Tom, when will you make a trip and vlog to catch some Zanders?
15:00 - saugeye?
The seats in the new boat look luxurious.
Would you please share the name, brand, and source for the plier holder attached to the gunwale of your older boat?
Love the videos keep em coming brother! Love the new boat!
Come down and fish pymatuning lake, it’s like a mini Lake Erie in western PA! Spring bite is just firing up!
Water temp is still a little cold on Pymi but no doubt next week will be on fire. I’ve used a lot of Tom’s advice and recommendations and it worked great on Pymi!
How many batteries are you running to power multiple screens, trolling motors, etc? That’s an impressive setup.
Tom - I missed out on buying this kit last spring, with the crazy weather I really want to get out in April on the river and try some of these techniques, are you gonna put out another kit this year?? Or any suggestions for a good spring arsenal?
its a hybrid!! (Saugeye)... Catch them all the time in the wisconsin river.

I have one on back order. Place the order.
Congratulations on your new boat Tommy !! One thing i can tell you is that Yamaha is the ultimate motor !! Youll never go back 🎉😊 !!
Love seeing the waste water in the back ground. Used to work there. Always hurt watching guys catching fish during the week.
Is the beam on the warrior less than on the alumacraft or does it just look that way cause the warrior is a longer boat?
Warrior 2090 has a 90" beam and the competitor 205 is 96". This is significant for 2 reasons ... 1) the warrior cuts rough water better and 2) the warrior will fit into a garage 8' wide doors :)

Congraguation on the new beutiful boat Tom.

Elliot’s are kind of like the legend tournaments and the 2B is like an Eyecon
How fast are you going with those Dubuque rigs Tom?
Awesome video Tom! Love that Carbon X drag!

Im, curious. is this boat narrower then the alumacrafts? is seems to have more side to side sway.
That's what I was thinking to the floor plan looks more narrow that the 205 Comp. I bought a 205 comp last summer because of your videos Tom.
Yes they are! Stupid! And Aluminumcraft better.

Great video and the boat looks great.
Need a competitive collab video with some other RUclips content creators. Game of inches is a good example 😉
Ski goggles for cold runs.
musky love the tickle tails and 1/4 ounce jigs. caught a few early skis on them.👍😁😁
Any of you guys in Wis or Mn have minows yet?

Off topic…. How do you like those E-Locks on you electronics?
No one has stole them yet. Easy to install. Keep graphs tight

Tom , what line combination do you use when jigging for walleyes?
What simms gear are you wearing
