She's not down to earth. That's Pam. @@hittingyouoverthehead Person can be both ambitious AND down-to-earth. Plus, having self-respect and ''demanding'' those things is not actually being ''bold'', it's setting boundaries and dealing with difficult situation. Also, Pam became ''bolder'' over the run of the show.
Karen isn't a Karen. Y'all reaching comedy bites. It's Jim that dropped her for Pam for not being Pam. Nothing was ever wrong with Karen. She was fun, caring and badass
I like how in the show they had really good chemistry, so good in fact that the only way they could it make it seem as though Jim and Karen's relationship wasn't working out was to contrive off-screen conflict into the script to manipulate the audience into thinking that their relationship couldn't work in the end.
Jim is also the worst tbh. Acts superior to everyone else in the office despite the fact that he's just as bad, if not worst than every single one of them
"We will burn Utica to the ground." The best part is, they might actually do that. Dwight's no smack talker, he's just telling Karen what he'll do. Dwight Schrute is a true sigma male.
I loved Karen! And even worse, I was able to relate to her during the episodes of Jim dumping her because at that same time I was dating someone who left me for someone else. I was blindsided by it because I thought we were great. I too cried for weeks for this guy but now I’m married with an awesome guy and we just had a baby last month. I look back now and I’m so glad my ex dumped me!
I don’t think any of the things in this video are examples of Karen “being a Karen”, like I get that a lot of people didn’t like her and wouldn’t like these scenes but that’s not the same thing as the character “being a Karen”.
Jim's treatment of Karen during and after the relationship was a classic example of "He's just not that into you".... He didn't even deny still having feelings for Pam when she asked hIm during their relationship .. All the signs of him not really liking her were always there.. Including him insisting Karen not get an apartment TWO BLOCKS AWAY from him, cuz itll be like they're living together??!! seriously??...She shudda walked llooooonnnnggg ago. I can't believe HE ended up breaking up with her
Jim did the same thing to Katy, maybe even worse considering how he used her to make Pam jealous, realized his plan had backfired on the booze cruise, then bluntly tossed her in the trash with no remorse.
I really liked Karen and wish she was given more storylines other than being in a relationship with Jim. Her and Andy joining the office were great additions.
The only “karen” thing in here, and there’s a strong case against this being a bad moment would be doing her Jim face and then saying “what is that?” Otherwise Karen is the most rational female character in the office

Always liked Karen. Cute and cool. Too bad she had a bad time during the Pam & Jim story.
I always thought Karen got a bad rap, her only crime is not being Pam, other than that she is a realistic, down the earth and likeable character in my opinion
Tbh Pam wasn’t even all that
Karen was better than Pam in every way imaginable
She's not down to earth. That's Pam. Karen was not afraid to stand up and demand she get what she should get like when she asked Jim to move away from Scranton because she realizes he would never move on from Pam as long as she's always around. She's bold and knows what she wants unless Pam who didn't have the spine to tell Roy to set a wedding date and not remain engaged for 3 years.
She didn't get a bad rap though, fans loved her and even within the show she was shown as a great character who was unlucky to fall for Jim
@@hittingyouoverthehead Person can be both ambitious AND down-to-earth. Plus, having self-respect and ''demanding'' those things is not actually being ''bold'', it's setting boundaries and dealing with difficult situation. Although, if you think of it being bold would be dumping Jim on the sport upon realizing he would never move on from Pam... Being down-to-earth means being sensible, relatable, ''reasonbale''. Also, Pam became ''bolder'' over the run of the show.
The minute she started dating Jim I knew it was gonna end badly for her 😑
I felt the same for Katy when Jim convinced her for a date. I knew she wouldn't be treated properly as Jim would finally go for garbage.
@@rayunited2010foryoumany people ignore the fact he has treated girls like Katy and Karen like dirt….. he’s not at all a great person
the first one gets me every time “we’re having a diversity refresher because of some more problems at the scranton branch” i laugh every time😂😂
i love karen. she stood up for herself when she was being treated unfairly. shes a girlboss
Jim really did a good thing for Karen's career
And Roy's
@@Anastomose yes! And Pam and Jim were stuck in the same position for years!
@@stephaniepinto9390 at least they were together
She herself made a good thing for her career...She wouldn't stay there just for Jim because deep down she knew he wasn't into her.
Utica did for Karen what Cleveland would have done for Liz.
I want to go to there
@@marianogonzalez6848 No you don’t
I feel like this compilation reflected more poorly on Jim than Karen
1:48 Karen's name on CoD being 'KarentheJimSlayer' is just genius.
She was way too normal for that office. She's the best :)
*karen joking with her boyfriend who is the jokester of the series*
editors : such a karen move
His?
His?
His?
her?
"We will burn Utica to the ground"
should've brought Ryan to start the fire, then
FIRE-D GUY
Karen isn't a Karen. Y'all reaching comedy bites. It's Jim that dropped her for Pam for not being Pam. Nothing was ever wrong with Karen. She was fun, caring and badass
I like how in the show they had really good chemistry, so good in fact that the only way they could it make it seem as though Jim and Karen's relationship wasn't working out was to contrive off-screen conflict into the script to manipulate the audience into thinking that their relationship couldn't work in the end.
That last conversation with Jim and Karen feels too real
i actually liked karen. she's just not pam
Yess, she’s good but was just a placeholder for Pam sadly. I actually liked her
She was better than Pam
@@yagom6033 give this man a medal for saying something no one dared to say in this comment section.
@@neowisek7757 karen is like that girl that would be perfect for you but your eyes is set to a different person
So Karen acting like Jim is rude and obnoxious, while Jim acting like Jim is hilarious and iconic. I see
Yes. It's all about execution
Jim is also the worst tbh. Acts superior to everyone else in the office despite the fact that he's just as bad, if not worst than every single one of them
“Jim just climb on top of her and think of Stanley” I DIED😂
And it was so subtle, can’t believe I missed the joke for years 😂
"That's what she said!"
No, sweetie, you just LAUGHED.
Karen was actually fun and awesome. Pam was more of a "Karen" towards the later part of the series
Never watched The Office, but Karen doesn't seem like a Karen.
The Karen slander will not be tolerated
0:15 when you order Pam Beesly from Wish
Karen wasn’t a Karen
Rashida Jones is painfully gorgeous man that smile is heart melting
Karen was easily the most likeable of the Jim/Pam/Karen triangle.
Angela is real the "Karen"
For someone whose name is Karen, she is actually one of the "normal" characters in The Office
"We will burn Utica to the ground."
The best part is, they might actually do that.
Dwight's no smack talker, he's just telling Karen what he'll do. Dwight Schrute is a true sigma male.
In that episode was the line, "The eyes are the groin of the head." - Dwight K Schrute
Every time I enter a comment section about the office, there’s a heated debate about all the major characters 😭
I don’t like this Karen slander. Karen was NOT a Karen. She was BY FAR the most normal character on the show💀💀
I loved Karen!
So not "a sperm machine that did this to you?"
@@thesuperioraffection4502 😂😂
Yes, a sperm machine AKA my husband.
Yeah you sound like you’re completely over it. Def not still obsessing about it haha
Comparing a similar breakup to a character on a show on a RUclips comment is… obsessing?? XD ok!
@@doozledorf7036 Shutup.. just because if someone shares about their hurtful incident of their past doesn't mean they are obsessing over it.
I prefer this karen than those "karens" out there
The way Pam became by the end of the series was more “Karen” like than Karen was in the show.
I don't know man , I think the only time she was a karen was when Michael Scott was dating Pam's Mom.
@Kaladins Yeah you are right .
The zoom in when it says You killed Jim Halpert is still one of the funniest things in the entire show.
I think everyone can agree that this Karen, the Karen from Daredevil and the Karen from Spongebob is the trio of good Karens
I’m sorry but I loved Karen…she deserved so much more
I love how everyone across the comments is United in our love for Karen!
0:08 That woman on Jim’s right did a Jim smirk!
That was the most polite “Any last words?” I’ve ever heard.
Who ever compiled this needs to change the title... She makes being a Karen a good thing
I don’t think any of the things in this video are examples of Karen “being a Karen”, like I get that a lot of people didn’t like her and wouldn’t like these scenes but that’s not the same thing as the character “being a Karen”.
Exactly what I was gonna say. Clearly, the person who wrote the title of this video doesn’t actually know what a “Karen” is.
This girl is too good Jim didn't deserve her
Karen is like the anti-Karen. I thought we left the whole 'bashing women bc they're in the way of the main ship and misogyny' train a couple years ago
very well said
not misogyny
How is this misogyny
True!! It's very misogynistic how people pit two women against each other for a guy???
Ok Karen.
After having her heart broken by Jim, Karen changed her name and moved to Indiana to become a nurse, where she ended up working in local government.
What a totally Karen title for the most anti-Karen Karen there is 🤨
The only “karen” thing in here, and there’s a strong case against this being a bad moment would be doing her Jim face and then saying “what is that?” Otherwise Karen is the most rational female character in the office
Karen is the most rational character, male or female, in this series.
Man I just realized how sad it was for her to break up with Jim if "I cried for WEEKS about that guy" 5:15
He literally abandoned her in New York without even saying good bye
