The moment he texted accusing her of “wanting to get into it over text” and focusing on being petty about that instead of the real subject at hand made me wary of what was about to come.

I feel like her story and timeline is such a realistic example of one person having a idea of what dating requires (vulnerability, accountability, commitment, etc) and being open to that vs someone who thinks it will just happen without actually offering any collateral on there end (everything listed above).

I feel like this guy was a fuckboy. I believe he didn’t intentionally want to hurt Julia but he was aware enough to know what he was doing. After this experience he needs to go to therapy because he did real damage and he’s too old for ‘I didn’t think about it’ to be an excuse anymore
@@SCordova19 I agree with you, but I think fuckboy is a little extreme. He definitely got inside his own head and overthought the entire situation. Julia seemed like she wanted a committed relationship, but he somehow got so far ahead of himself that to him it meant moving in/engagement/wedding immediately. I wonder if this guy has ever really "dated" anyone before.

I’ve listed like three times and made my boyfriend listen to it too😂 he wasn’t as riled up as me but agreed that the guy should not have reached out to Julie at all since nothing had changed for him. Definitely fell under the ‘not nice’ response 😂

I could see the ending a mile away. As soon as he said he was assessing that first time, that's when Julia needed to get turned off instead of wanting him more. And then all the hours of conversation to basically convince him to commit 😕. Women don't need men who need to be convinced to date them! Get turned off by men's commitment issues and indecisiveness! Be with someone who wants to be with you!
Would love to get the guy on the podcast. What is he actually thinking?
I wish I was the type of person that wouldn't enjoy seeing Jordana grill him...but I am not that person. 😂 Frankly, he probably doesn't even know what he's thinking. He just has a "gut feeling" and I doubt he's delved into his emotions to actually identify what's going on.
