I know a few couples that met on apps but they were on vacation or traveling for work and they started long distance or ended up just staying! Also: I find a lot of men have an aversion to trying to date, stay in touch or get to know someone long distance. Why? Would love further explanation on that! I think long distance is kind of nice especially in your late 30s - if it's not too hard to get to the person - nice to take breaks and make plans to see one another. Overall enjoyed this ep!

On my first date with my boyfriend, I told him I thought he was cute when he asked why I swiped on his profile and this is apparently not something that men hear often so he was taken off guard. Then when we were eating macarons, I kept breaking them in half and he said, "you can just bite it - I'm going to try to kiss you later anyway," and I said, "good, you better." He appreciated that forwardness too. And uh, was abortion not legal when this woman got knocked up by someone who was basically a stranger? LOL. Run, girl, run.
When you're a "new Christian", you don't understand the nuances & just start picking what rules you need to follow. If he stopped having sex, he also shouldn't be living with her. He won't marry her unless she also became a Christian, so they'd be "equally yoked". You can start going to church with him & talk to the pastor about it. She doesn't want to "fake" being a Christian, but if it's not for you, get out of the relationship, get child support & move on. He will probably be a good, dedicated father overall, if his faith is real. Don't ask me how I know 😇
Came here to say this... He might not want to marry her unless SHE'S a Christian... And probably wants it to be genuine and not just because she knows that's where HE'S at. They definitely need to talk and get some pastoral counseling!
I agree with them that the BF sounds kinda insane for thinking he needs to become a born again virgin while living with his gf and offspring BUT. The math on this relationship is interesting. Date for one month, pregnant for 9, babe is 8 months. They have literally known each other for 18 months! It is a bit on the fast side to get married.

Seems like he may want to marry something with the same faith. Idk seems like a tough situation and they need to talk. You can still coparent.

If I’m not initially attracted to a guy, as it takes me a while to be at times (naturally average Joe guys aren’t super models, but then the super model guy’s personality is mostly always ehhh, and they don’t gravitate to average Joe girls like me cause they usually have a bunch of girls to choose from and that gives me even more of an ick). But anyway, I love a guy to be my friend first. Not ask me out right away. Just be my friend. Show interest in my thoughts and hobbies. Maybe flirt here and there and see how I react. And then maybe ask me out on a more romantic date. My relationships have always been this way and I’ve always loved it this way. I don’t know
