Not really not all drug addicts are the same stop judging when you don’t know! I used too be on drugs but guess what I never stole ripped anyone off or took anything that was not mine. Period in my worst moment I’d never do someone like her own mother did her I seen it time and time again.
I'd hope the doctor did a well enough job that her body can handle the pain, but obviously other medicine will be needed to keep the wounds clean and other antibiotics. Mentally and emotionally, Jade can only handle so much though. She probably thinks her body can't handle it, when it can, it's just absolute hell to get through without that medical help
You’d be surprised what our bodies can handle. Pain is our body’s way of telling us something is wrong; it’s not a problem in itself and it’s not possible for pain alone to kill someone. I promise. Sometimes the pain may be so severe that you wish you were dead lol, but it won’t kill you.
I can’t believe that any of them would trust her to pick up those meds that she NEEDS. I knew before any of this even happened that she would do this exact thing. She is a drug addict and this is what addicts do .. my heart hurts for jade but at the same time they all know how her mother is

They really don’t have percs tho. I recently had a procedure and my mother went to 5 different locations and I wasn’t able to get my scripts. I just settled for Tylenol extra strength and some cbd gummies 😩
I will have to say Miami did sell out the Percocet but what her mother should have done was got the next best thing… Miami is full of surgery centers… the pharmacy runs out quite often … it’s pretty crazy

In Florida that is very common. You need to get them in advance for the pharmacy to order them. Laws in Florida are different. I wouldn’t dare have a surgery in this state without medication in hand.
Idk what it is in different states but I'm a pharmacy technician and percocets are always given generic which is oxycodone unless a doctor writes dispense as written meaning give brand name generic is always first choice for insurance purposes and out of pocket costs because its cheaper and normally covered

After a major surgery, the doctor should have provided some meds to start her off then she could have picked up others but those should have been picked up during surgery so they’d be ready. Aye

They give you a dose before you leave so that if you have to wait a long time for the pharmacy to fill it, you won’t be so uncomfortable. My doctor did this when I had my third csection

From a pharmacy perspective it is EXTREMELY possible that they are on shortage in the area! Especially with increase in surgeries in the Miami area. Where I worked if someone called ahead and asked if we had narcotics, we would not divulge that info over the phone (pharmacies get robbed!) I hope her mother was telling the truth for her sanity 😣

On the way home from the hospital he could have dropped the script up and had Brianna pick them up. Or once Brianna got there he could have ran real quick and grabbed them. They obviously didn't believe the grandmother was going to take so long. Or they believed she wouldn't take her pain meds with her knowing how much pain she's in.
I believe the mom. Our coworker recently went from Texas to Miami to get a surgery and could not fill her pain meds in Florida. Had to come back to Texas and ask her primary care doc for a new rx. Surgeries are very common in Florida.
That's crazy! But I'm seeing others say the same in the comments. I still would have called back to the surgery center for help locating the meds or writing an alternative script. Somebody needed to do something other than leave the girl helpless for 4+ hours.

Welcome to life of a chronic pain patient. If the pharmacy doesn’t know you personally they will say they do not have the medication. Also The DEA has cut production of all pain medications by at least 50%. I can’t remember the exact percentage of the top of my head. The suffering and dying of the chronic pain community needs to be brought out to the public! This is an every day ordeal for us!

You’re supposed to pick up your prescription either before the surgery or right after… why would you go home first without the medicine?!? I don't know but I think sean was actually really good to jade and took care of her the best he could and he seems to be there for his family if anyone messes with his family. He genuinely sounded worried and concerned.
Christy's behaviour was absolutely shocking. I think Sean was very mature and responsible towards Jade. She's the mother of his child and unlike her parents, he did not want to see her in more pain than she already was. Christy has had chance after chance and she blew it. Don't give in Jade. You're only going to get hurt again if you do. Focus on yourself girl and on your daughter. Nobody else.
Even if they didn't. They said multiple times, "Call us if you need anything". If I go to 2 stores and they don't have what I need, I'm calling the surgery center to help me locate what I need, or write an alternative script. I just don't see any sense of urgency if you're out riding around 4+ hours, knowing your child is in pain. I was so upset watching this episode.
It’s ok to distant yourself from people who don’t treat you well. You can love with distinct boundaries. If this situation isn’t proof of that I don’t know what is.
It's incredibly dangerous what her mum did. Left her with no antibiotics or pain relief. Its simple u go get the meds if u can't come right back and someone else will. She was up to no good, addicts think differently
I am sorry she is suffering. Pharmacies not having opioid pain medication has to do with the supposed opioid epidemic. Millions of Chronic pain patients Suffer through this every day. Something needs to be done. We’ve been on all types of social media begging for help trying to be able to have a platform to get all this information out. Manufacturing has been cut over 60%. We would love for MTV to do an episode on chronic pain patients suffering And not able to obtain pain medication.
Sorry but I don’t feel bad for Jade. She didn’t look into the risks properly beforehand or check what pain meds she needed by the pharmacy and how far in advance to order them. This surgery was completely unnecessary and only made possible by the MTV money so I believe MTV have every right to film her, not one of these girls made a fuss in 16 and pregnant where they filmed giving birth and MTV use to regularly film the Geordie Shore girls urinating, vomiting and sometimes pooing when drunk. Plus she trusts her mum who is a known addict to get her prescriptions? She could have easily asked production or Briana given her parents and Sean’s history with drugs. Jade seriously needs to grow up.
Producers of Teen Mom really need to step up in not just being bystanders, but providing advice when truly needed and not just standing there with cameras capturing atrocious moments of someone’s life without providing help at the end of a viewing.
I don't feel bad for her. This was a surgery that wasn't even necessary. If it wasn't for TM money she would have never gotten it to begin with. Yeah it's sad hearing her in pain, but she didn't need to do put herself in that situation. I wish I had a perfect body too but even if I had the money I would NOT do that!!!

Did anyone else feel some type of way at the end of this episode?! Like my heart was racing and everything. I was soo upset with Jade's mother (I want to give her the benefit of the doubt, but this looks so bad). Why didn't she call back to the surgery center if it were truly a matter of not being able to locate the Rx? They could have prescribed something else. I was so thankful Brianna was there trying to keep things calm in such a chaotic situation. I hope everything came together for Jade.

From a pharmacy perspective it is EXTREMELY possible that they are on shortage in the area! Especially with increase in surgeries in the Miami area. Where I worked if someone called ahead and asked if we had narcotics, we would not divulge that info over the phone (pharmacies get robbed!)

I mean it's common sense she doesn't care about what her daughter needs. They should have just picked up medicine right away for her themselves and she knows already she can't depend on her mom with serious stuff. So she needs to just do other things without her cause at this point she is just putting herself through more pain and she's not a kid anymore to be crying like it's a first disappointment with her mother.
This is the raw truth of pain! Not glad at all but I’m glad this show actually showed the truth. People can’t get meds because of the fake opiod crisis. . The mom or others like her ruin it for real pain patients, it’s a nightmare now!

If Sean went would her mother even be able to watch the baby and held Jade out when she needed Help? I doubt it he was better off staying with Jade and their daughter. On the way home from the hospital he could have dropped the script up and had Brianna pick them up. Or once Brianna got there he could have ran real quick and grabbed them. They obviously didn't believe the grandmother was going to take so long. Or they believed she wouldn't take her pain meds with her knowing how much pain she's in.
I honestly skipped Jades scenes at first, but now she’s my fav along with Briana... they have the most exciting lives on the show. 🤷🏽♀️
I believe the mom. Our coworker recently went from Texas to Miami to get a surgery and could not fill her pain meds in Florida. Had to come back to Texas and ask her primary care doc for a new rx. Surgeries are very common in Florida.
That's crazy! But I'm seeing others say the same in the comments. I still would have called back to the surgery center for help locating the meds or writing an alternative script. Somebody needed to do something other than leave the girl helpless for 4+ hours.

Welcome to life of a chronic pain patient. If the pharmacy doesn’t know you personally they will say they do not have the medication. Also The DEA has cut production of all pain medications by at least 50%. I can’t remember the exact percentage of the top of my head. The suffering and dying of the chronic pain community needs to be brought out to the public! This is an every day ordeal for us!

You’re supposed to pick up your prescription either before the surgery or right after… why would you go home first without the medicine?!? Like you know she’s going to be in pain after being altered physically but you don’t think to get her medicine ahead of time? And then you send her drug addict parents to go pick up the script of a narcotic…. Like this whole thing is a mess. I guarantee her parents filled the script and took it for themselves.

I don't know but I think sean was actually really good to jade and took care of her the best he could and he seems to be there for his family if anyone messes with his family. He genuinely sounded worried and concerned.

Christy's behaviour was absolutely shocking. I think Sean was very mature and responsible towards Jade. She's the mother of his child and unlike her parents, he did not want to see her in more pain than she already was. Christy has had chance after chance and she blew it. Don't give in Jade. You're only going to get hurt again if you do. Focus on yourself girl and on your daughter. Nobody else.

I think the doctors would have known if there were no meds nearby.
Even if they didn't. They said multiple times, "Call us if you need anything". If I go to 2 stores and they don't have what I need, I'm calling the surgery center to help me locate what I need, or write an alternative script. I just don't see any sense of urgency if you're out riding around 4+ hours, knowing your child is in pain. I was so upset watching this episode.
It’s ok to distant yourself from people who don’t treat you well. You can love with distinct boundaries. If this situation isn’t proof of that I don’t know what is.
It's incredibly dangerous what her mum did. Left her with no antibiotics or pain relief. Its simple u go get the meds if u can't come right back and someone else will. She was up to no good, addicts think differently
I would have told the mother to bring the script right back to the rental.

I am sorry she is suffering. Pharmacies not having opioid pain medication has to do with the supposed opioid epidemic. Millions of Chronic pain patients Suffer through this every day. Something needs to be done. We’ve been on all types of social media begging for help trying to be able to have a platform to get all this information out. Manufacturing has been cut over 60%. We would love for MTV to do an episode on chronic pain patients suffering And not able to obtain pain medication.
My heart just shattered into a million pieces when Jade was crying. I can’t imagine the physical and mental pain she went through in that moment.
Sorry but I don’t feel bad for Jade. She didn’t look into the risks properly beforehand or check what pain meds she needed by the pharmacy and how far in advance to order them. This surgery was completely unnecessary and only made possible by the MTV money so I believe MTV have every right to film her, not one of these girls made a fuss in 16 and pregnant where they filmed giving birth and MTV use to regularly film the Geordie Shore girls urinating, vomiting and sometimes pooing when drunk. Plus she trusts her mum who is a known addict to get her prescriptions? She could have easily asked production or Briana given her parents and Sean’s history with drugs. Jade seriously needs to grow up.
Producers of Teen Mom really need to step up in not just being bystanders, but providing advice when truly needed and not just standing there with cameras capturing atrocious moments of someone’s life without providing help at the end of a viewing.
We definitely got percs in Miami! I could’ve found percs for Jade in less than an hour in my hood 😂😂

I don't feel bad for her. This was a surgery that wasn't even necessary. If it wasn't for TM money she would have never gotten it to begin with. Yeah it's sad hearing her in pain, but she didn't need to do put herself in that situation. I wish I had a perfect body too but even if I had the money I would NOT do that!!!

Thank you ! What normal teen moms in the real world even have the money for cosmetic surgery ? And Brazilian butt lift is the most risky cosmetic surgery .. she chose to have this done .. no sympathy
They could have easily called a couple pharmacies around them to see if the scripts where filled that would have solved this real quick then if they where they’d realize the parents just got them and ran

Idk what it is in different states but I'm a pharmacy technician and percocets are always given generic which is oxycodone unless a doctor writes dispense as written meaning give brand name generic is always first choice for insurance purposes and out of pocket costs because its cheaper and normally covered

I was soo upset with Jade's mother (I want to give her the benefit of the doubt, but this looks so bad). Why didn't she call back to the surgery center if it were truly a matter of not being able to locate the Rx? They could have prescribed something else. I was so thankful Brianna was there trying to keep things calm in such a chaotic situation. I hope everything came together for Jade.
