    so tomorrow I work very early and somehow I discovered your channel and now I am 2 hours past bed time, you guys rock, I am 27 and you may think you're too young to remember these arcades, well where I come from the 80s arcades were being used in the late 90's and early 2000s in north Africa because 99% of parents couldn't afford the PlayStation or even the Sega therefore 99% of kids played at arcades :D

      Only rich people could afford home consoles back in the 90's and early 2000's, I live in Colombia and arcades had a though fight against home consoles not because parents bought them but instead you could see garages adapted with chairs and TV's and home consoles (mainly PS1 and N64) where you can pay to play half hour or one hour or whatever you want, that was how we experienced that tech era.

    I used to own a full size outrun sit down two-player cab, it had separate music controls so you can change the radio station while you're playing. And the speakers were in the headrest. Fun game. But big.

    Ah Outrun...the driving game of my youth! I loved that game so much! I even owned the SEGA Genesis version of it as well as the follow up game Outrunners! In later years as the Internet gave me the ability to track down rare music, I managed to find the original videogame soundtrack to Outrun and its follow ups! My all time favorite track was Magical Sound Shower with Passing Breeze a close second! A true classic!

    Outrun is a classic, and definitely better than Turbo Outrun. I still wish I had a chance to play OutRunners at some point in the 90s, though. Especially 8-player OutRunners on four of the cabinets linked together. Those cabinets are so rare, though, that I doubt I'd be able to find one of them anywhere, let alone four!

    • @tntamusements
      @tntamusements  6 лет назад

      Many of them were broken apart. They all used Wells Grdner 7000 monitors which were probably harvested for other games.

    I'm not sure if I've seen this Goofy cartoon, but when I was getting my driver's license in 2008, the Driver's Ed. school that I went to, showed us two Goofy cartoons; Freewayphobia and Goofy's Freeway Trouble. It was the highlight of the class, for me. :)

    Played one of these at the South Coast Slam in Worthing in April. I did okay so long as I kept my foot all the way to the right because I had these big chunky boots on and kept accidentally braking. Seriously, nobody uses the brake on this game.

    you seriously need a cree LED headlamp of some sort. look silly but they can fit in the pocket. and for focused work really a must. especially if they are pure white meritline.com has many but I'm sure searching google works too. Just your wand light just doesn't quiet work. and the best Cree's usually run on the 18660 or whatever side li ion's. cause right about now I woulda pulled mine out looking for that number :) (trying to ignore that silly TMNT wannabe in the back behind steven . sneaky!!! what do I win for spotting him :) hmm a three stooges dvd ? lol I'm joking

      vibgaming Well, moving the game from one location to the next, putting up with breakdowns and break-ins, location demanding cash gift every year, etc.....all put a real damper on the vending operation!
