Totally right. You know what's even sad? The True Arena from KRTDL Deluxe, despite being (luckily) non-canonical, showed not only a bad ending in which the Master Crown completely took possession of Magolor's soul, leaving no trace of good in him anymore, but also, after being defeated Magolor Soul itself is banished into another dimension without saving Magolor. This was also supposed to be a bad ending in the original game if you didn't get all 120 energy spheres, but fortunately the producers decided to scrap this one in order to give Magolor redemption.

They also have a good chance Marx and Dark Meta Knight? Almost guaranteed as an antagonist if they ever return, especially Marx Daroach and Taranza? I’d say maybe? Return to Dreamland was my first as well and is my favourite. Return to dream land (Played that in 2015) Kirby's epic Yarn (Played that in 2015/2016) Return to dream land (Again) (Played that in 2018, the nostalgia was real and it was poking me) Kirby's Adventure (Played that also in 2018, it was cool) I really wonder what the next kirby game will be, HAL really makes it look like this is the last kirby game ever, we think Void will be reborn as the new kirby, leaving the old kirby to retire. Will the next kirby game be 3D? Will it be the same KRTD look like these 3 games? Will there even be a next kirby game? Time will tell.

Return To Dreamland is like the Sonic Adventure of Kirby. Everything was executed in such a timeless and clean fashion while preserving the old, with a golden soundtrack, and a simple, yet memorable story. The only problem is that they tried to make Return To Dreamland sequels too many damn times

One difference between this theme and the original is that this theme feels a lot more heroic than villainous, this was intentional. After the events of Return to Dreamland, Magolor cleaned himself up. He built Kirby a theme park, attends Kirby's plays (100% RTDL + Triple Deluxe) and helped him with the battle against Void Magolor became no longer a villain. I think 0:55 shows this best, the use of the Main Menu theme (i.e Magolor's leitmotif) in the original theme was very unsettling and was used to drive home the fact that Magolor was evil the entire time. Here it's very heroic, a beautiful representation of Magolor's arc.
Apparently, reading the comments, this music has been implemented in Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe. I'm so happy about that! This is the ultimate price to return to Dream Land.
My theory: When the Jamba heart exploded, we saw both dark hearts and friend hearts go everywhere. The reason old bosses are helping us is because they got hit with those hearts
For ones like Dark Meta, Marx, and the like, I could see that, but Magolor has been all but confirmed to be on Kirby’s side as far back as the “New challenge stages” mode from Kirby’s Dream Collection

The nostalgia hits hard. Return to Dreamland is my all time favorite Kirby game and really made me fall in love with the series. Magalor was such a good villain and this song slaps. Thanks hal and Nintendo for making some great memories of possibly my all time favorite game series.

Here is some fact I just learned: In Morpho Knight's battle stage of wave 3 update, the glass pool in the center is not depicting Void Termina's battle stage but it's actually Another Dimension that appeared in "Heroes in Another Dimension" scenario.

Morpho knight: your sins are inescapable Magolor: I did NOT fight a giant tree fused with the strongest artifact in existence to be TALKED DOWN TO by a GODDAMN BUTTERFLY.
Dunno why but hearing the Arena theme (1:57) and the Sky Tower theme (2:22) really made the song more grander and epic while also giving a sense of hope of fighting Morpho Knight and especially True Magolor Soul. Possibly my favorite parts of the song.
Although, Under My Control is sadly not in this medley. We still have Sky Tower and Dangerous Dinner added and there also my favorite soundtracks in RtDL. Also the Sky Tower part is amazingly done. Easily my favorite in this soundtrack.
Hands down, favorite melody of them all. Coming from my favorite game as well as being my favorite Kirby baddie (though, he isn't one anymore), I'm glad he got such a great one. No Under My Control but that isn't enough to offset how great this theme is.

Amusingly, the transition between it and Unlimited Power seems to use that cut off. Also the Arena Battle segment starts after the song’s most distinctive riff, so to make up for that the composer crammed said riff into the medley at 2:18.

One difference between this theme and the original is that this theme feels a lot more heroic than villainous, this was intentional.
After the events of Return to Dreamland, Magolor cleaned himself up.
He built Kirby a theme park, attends Kirby's plays (100% RTDL + Triple Deluxe) and helped him with the battle against Void
Magolor became no longer a villain.
I think 0:55 shows this best, the use of the Main Menu theme (i.e Magolor's leitmotif) in the original theme was very unsettling and was used to drive home the fact that Magolor was evil the entire time.
Here it's very heroic, a beautiful representation of Magolor's arc.
The only crime he’s committed was adding micro-transactions to Team Kirby Clash and I will never forgive him for that

My theory: When the Jamba heart exploded, we saw both dark hearts and friend hearts go everywhere. The reason old bosses are helping us is because they got hit with those hearts
I'm late but that could be the reason of why they can throw friend hearts too
It was revealed in an interview that the "good" hearts were just fragments of the spears used to seal the heart

For ones like Dark Meta, Marx, and the like, I could see that, but Magolor has been all but confirmed to be on Kirby’s side as far back as the “New challenge stages” mode from Kirby’s Dream Collection

Despite Under My Control not being in here, Return to Dreamland was my first Kirby game, so hearing this gives me feels.
I love Return To Dreamland. It was my first kirby game and I still believe it's one of the best.
Here is some fact I just learned: In Morpho Knight's battle stage of wave 3 update, the glass pool in the center is not depicting Void Termina's battle stage but it's actually Another Dimension that appeared in "Heroes in Another Dimension" scenario.

Dunno why but hearing the Arena theme (1:57) and the Sky Tower theme (2:22) really made the song more grander and epic while also giving a sense of hope of fighting Morpho Knight and especially True Magolor Soul. Possibly my favorite parts of the song.

Hands down, favorite melody of them all. Coming from my favorite game as well as being my favorite Kirby baddie (though, he isn't one anymore), I'm glad he got such a great one. No Under My Control but that isn't enough to offset how great this theme is.

If that is the Super Ability theme at 0:40, it’s the variant that gets cut off in the cutscene before Magolor Phase 1. Amusingly, the transition between it and Unlimited Power seems to use that cut off. Also the Arena Battle segment starts after the song’s most distinctive riff, so to make up for that the composer crammed said riff into the medley at 2:18.
