It would be amazing if you can do some more reviews on small local restaurants like Toshi Sushi on Main, Yama Cafe on East Hastings, or Lamajoun in Richmond, similar concept to when you first started. There are soo many hidden local small restaurant gems that could benefit from some attention during these difficult times (though I feel conflicted as I don't want them to become too popular to the point that I have to wait haha). Thank you for soo many amazing recommendations over the past ~decade and I hope there are many more to come!

Yes! actually they have another store located in the same mall that is for buying merchandise only. The cafe just has a dedicated store connected to it.

when we were in Japan, we tried around 7-8pm local time for the next day. It seemed to work best then.

you can go to the restaurant on the day to see, but I found a cancellation on the day of on their website!
