its nice to see someone else like me with dyspraxia in mainstream media. So many people can be easily dismissive of it and get easy frustrated with me cause they don't understand or don't think its real.
people are usually dismissive of things they don't understand. I get called lazy and messy. But in reality I just can't focus on things, and tend to drift off. It's rare if I ever finish a project I start. I daydream for hours at a time, unless I'm forced to do something. But as long as you are content, does it really matter what others think?

Are having OCD and being organized mutually exclusive?
OCD is all about anxiety and control; people often don't talk about their anxiety, especially when on tv, in some dating show. This guy shows a disproportional need for control, he's aware of it and he doesn't seem to like it that much. He even mentions an 2 examples of what could be considered (non-productive) rituals. Which altogether make OCD not the most unlikely explanation.

I've had dyspraxia since I was a toddler as I was a late developer as I never walked until I was two years old and I always struggled in class with motor skills balance, maths organisation and communication. I've had days where I thought I was a failure and never could achieve anything. I'm now 23 in my first ever job and dating a man who completely understands my learning disability, knows my sensory triggers as well as how to cope with my meltdowns because I told him what to look out for and what to do.
To all dyspraxics, you are amazing and wonderful! Don't ever give up hope in life because it's your uniqueness that makes you special!

So you're saying someone you don't know, and have no information other than the info given on this program, doesn't have ocd? Every person is different, his ocd may be more mild than yours, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have it.
OCD is so different for everyone. I have diagnosed OCD, but organization and being on time are two things i couldnt give less of a shit about. mine is more focused towards the feeling of incompletion or something being in the wrong place on my body (a t shirt thats too snug on the underarm will drive me up a wall). or if i read a book, and feel i said a name or word wrong, i have to repeat the correct word aloud several times to feel validated. and i used to have a really bad flare up where i had to hum in the back of my throat or id feel really uncomfortable and frustrated.
he has OCPD Obsessive Compulsive Personality Disorder. It's the same thing as people seeing a group of sharpened pencils and one isn't sharpened, they say "This bothers my OCD" it's OCPD not OCD.

I agree with this, though for some people it can be just that.
I was diagnosed with OCD as a child and constantly think about if my cat is still alive, if she's in the house, if she's stuck somewhere, etc. I check on her every 10-20 minutes-- that's the most annoying thing about OCD to me. But, I do want things organized. I have the messiest room you'll ever see, but I have things "organized" in a way that makes me comfortable, and if anyone touches it I have a meltdown. So it can be "just organizing", but it's also correct that it's not /always/ just organizing.

Well I find that opposites really do attract, I used to have mental health issues too when I was younger, with strong anxiety and stuff, but over the past few years I have completely changed. And I much prefer women with a similar problems, so I can really connect and understand them, it's weirdly attractive for me, in an emotional way haha
